Remember this pub from the 1980s when it had a great reputation for the quality of its beers. 30 odd years on and only changes are the massive upgrade on decor (love the information around the walls from years gone). Lovely looking food menu but more importantly a wide selection of well kept beers. Beautiful traditional bar in view as you walk through the entrance. Even better very close to the railway station.

Great pub a spit away from the train station. Great pub, great vibe, great beers. I had copious amounts of the plumbing porter, and later danced semi naked on the tables...... No, I didn't really, but, if you could have an equivalent night of fun and frivolity from enjoying a beer so much... that would be it!

My partner and I have been coming to Leeds for a mini break regularly in the last 15 years. We think this is the best pub in Leeds city centre overall and bought it was high time we left a review. Brilliant location, atmosphere, decor, food and most importantly, a well kept choice of ales. We had four different meals there between us over the Easter weekend and we thought it was the best food we'd had in a pub for a long time, every element was done to a high standard and good value as well. High praise indeed to the staff as well who are knowledgeable, very friendly and efficient. When we come back in July, this will be our first point of call as always.

One of the best Traditional pubs in Leeds. Great atmosphere, plenty of choice and plenty of staff and the beers are immaculately presented. The Bootsplasher was particularly nice. Nothing too much trouble for Toby and his team. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

A fantastic pub with a great selection of beers and ales, particularly pale ales. Has decent toilets and other facilities. It can get very crowded, especially before and after a Leeds match. This is because whilst it doesn't show the game, the bus pick up point to get from the city centre to Elland Road is just the other side of the train bridge.

Had a meal here today and it was excellent. We had Gammon and egg and the gammon was cooked to perfection served chips and house salad. It was really clean especially since it had been full of footy fans an hour before we called. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too.

This pub was a real surprise, being so close to Leeds Rail Station. Very busy on a Saturday lunchtime but they found our party of 9 a table quickly. God's selection of beers and ales. Very good menu, proper food and prompt service. Enough waiters and bar staff so no excessive wait. The pies in particular were very good.

Went to this establishment 2 times over the weekend, could not fault the place, the young lady called may who served us our breakfasts couldn't have been more helpful, she is a credit to her employer, prompt service, polite, and diligent about the quality of everything in front of us, the plate was brimming over and at 6 pound per full English, well worth it, I would highly recommend other people use this establishment when staying in Leeds, plenty of choices even on a night out, don't miss ur chance to experience the delights.

Went to this lovely pub on Saturday lunch time with my family. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome. The atmosphere was brilliant and so was the food which didn't take too long to arrive to say they were very busy. The RIbeye Steak was amazing. I highly recommend this pub.

We had an hour stopover in Leeds. This pub is close to the station. We grabbed some lunch there and a couple of drinks. The food was good with decent portion sizes. They had a great range of beers on tap and the wine was good, according to my wife. All in all a great place for a drink and a meal, unlike most pubs close to train stations.

Friendly traditional pub in Leeds serving a good selection of beers, ales, gins & other spirits. Close to the train station and shops.. perfect place to go have a meal and few drinks whatever the occasion. Staff are always friendly and helpful.. offering advice about the beers or food menu.. and even going out of their way to get you something you’d asked for.. Thank you for the pineapple juice Toby. Tables can be reserved for special occasions or just a get together of friends.. The Scarborough Taps is a great pub in the centre of Leeds with a great vibe, you’ll get a warm welcome, good quality drinks & a varied menu. Go see for yourselves.
