Came with a mate who recommended it for a beer and a bite. Really, really impressed with this place. Good beer, extremely tasty food which was well presented. Restaurant looked good, staff were polite, lots of parking here too. It wasn't overly busy and we were seated straight away. Highly recommended 👌

Great place, sort of hidden away but worth the find. Only a few minutes by car from the University its a real good hand out place. Come have a beer, watch the sports, play pool and grab some sizzler food. I went Saturday afternoon and loved the experience. Staff welcoming and nice vibe. Well decorated with a variety of seating, from private booths to leather sofas. Lots of TV screens to watch the sports. Defo a visit.

Very nice food with a great atmosphere inside, live sport shown when big games are on, the staff are all nice & friendly, this is now my regular spot when eating out! It can get busy at times during peak hours which requires a wait but it was expected as the place is quite popular.

I first tried Sheepscar about three years ago, and it was decent but not amazing due to grumpy staff. But I went afew days ago and the whole place has been revamped. New tables, decor, TV screens everywhere and lots of young enthusiastic staff. The food is fantastic, we ordered the large mixed grill and it was delicious, fresh and very good portion for us two greedy people. Leeds were playing on the TV screens so it was abit rowdy, but it's good to see people from all ethnic backgrounds in one place. Though having the word Gora to denote the mildest spice level on the menu is offensive, but perhaps it was a poorly thought out attempt at humour.

Honestly the best mixed grill I've ever had. Would confidently recommend it to anybody who enjoys Asian mixed grills. Good value too. However, the venue and setting is very interesting. We went on a fight night and found it to be very busy. Has the vibe of 'your local pub', which makes an odd pairing for an Indian meal out.

Plenty of choice here, a hidden gem 💎 Good advice to book early. Even with social distancing at 6pm on a Monday there was a steady stream of traffic. Chicken Jalfreze for me and a chicken Bhuna for my partner were spot on. Coming here again

Lovely place with helpful staff. If you like Indian food, you will love the restaurant as the food is of a high standard. On certain nights, entertainment is available such as quizzes, bingo and other games and you will feel very comfortable inside as it has been well decorated and flat screen tvs are available to watch live sport. Parking is available and there is a covered smoking area outside with heaters fixed to the walls for those colder night.

My first meal out since the pandemic and it was sheer delight. The place is lovely with seating arrangements which allowed parties to be safely distanced from each other and the staff were professional, polite and very keen to ensure that we were all enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. The general atmosphere was relaxing and encouragable for a wonderful evening with friends who I had not seen for over a year. I highly recommend this place and BTW the food was fabulous, large portions and we even got a beautifully pack bag with our left overs to take away. The service was faultless.

An Indian bar, with ample car parking has cctv covering the majority of the car park. The bar is well stocked, serving a good selection of alcoholic drinks. The mix grills are definitely the tastiest around, I highly recommend them! You can enjoy the sports on multiple Tv screens. ** Free pool on Tuesdays, for all you pool lovers** Go down and enjoy the delicious food.

My girlfriend and i had a King Grill which was excellent. There was only one part of the grill which we did not enjoy, and that was the Fish Pakora. The fish was bland and mushy, and the batter was not crispy, with no seasoning. Could not really be called a Pakora. we got a bottle of Andrew Peace Shiraz, which was £18.95, which we thought was expensive for a bottle of wine which costs £5.75 at the Co-op. Overall we enjoyed our evening.

Very nice club and was really surprised how clean the toilets were, the cheapest pint of Guinness I've paid for more than 10 years. They serve a variety of good mostly Indian. I believe if you are near this area you will miss out if you don't visit the club.

What a fantastic venue. I would have given it 5 stars but the bar staff were ride and ignorant. To work in s bar you need to have a smile on your face at all times and be pleasant and polite to customers.

The staff and the venue are excellent. Sadly, the clientele can have a negative impact on any good times to be had. We recently hired a room and our guests were accosted and one was threatened by some of the locals. It's a shame as the club looks good inside.

I went to the Egan suites for a gathering after a friend's funeral the food was wonderful and a good choice of drinks at the bar , staff were pleasant and efficient. I'd recommend venue to anyone .... well as long as they were based in Leeds 😏

UPDATE JAN 2020. VERY Disappointed to see the proper punjabi food at full price and NOT on a 2 for 1 offer. 2 for 1 is now mainly just your standard stuff seen in any takeaway. Be careful of menu as 2 for 1 is at bottom. Dishes at top are full price only. Another issue, For proper punjabi dishes the portions are now considerably smaller. So much smaller we had to order extra dishes all at full price with an eye watering £8.50 for lamb masala for the same miserly portion. Whole experience not helped by Bar girl who forgot part of our order giving 1 roti for 3 people instead of 6 roti. Taste is still good but Value for money is clearly NOT. Back to other options like singhs. ORIGINAL REVIEW :Top quality Indian food, great service, friendly staff and fantastic 2 for 1 meals on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Pool tables. Darts. TV screens and loads parking. Down to earth people what is there not to like. Recommended.

Attended a friend's birthday party in the lounge here. Fab space for private functions with a bar and space for a DJ booth, and plenty of room for parking. Highly recommend!

Had an event here, we hired the sheepscar area. Venue is really nice but OMG you cannot really have a party because there are far too many CAN'T THIS and CAN'T THAT ... i appreciate not being able to stick things on walls etc but no confetti no party poppers no string no banners no no no lol. So someone still used string and had to clean it up so we wouldn't lose the deposit. Thats fair... so she cleaned up and really well. A staff member was exceptionally rude to her which was highly unnecessary because she was clearly in progress of cleaning up. Also ... bar was very understaffed 1.5 people to serve for 50-60 of us and we were given a vacuum to clean at the end of the night. But the hire includes a cleaning fee ! I wouldnt use the venue again personally.
