Went as a result of my son buying my partner and I a virgin experience wine and food deal. The food was superb and the accompanying wine exceptional. But what made the night so special was the attention made by Mary our waitress to ensure that we had the best experience possible. I cannot express in words the exceptional service Mary gave to us. It was a joy talking to her not only how she explained how the food and wine complimented each other but away from this general chit chat which made us feel so special. She was a credit to Veeno and will ensure that we visit again in the near future.

A wonderful bar for wine (obviously) near the canal. We went in the afternoon for the food pairing experience and very much enjoyed it, the food was of good quality and the wine selections very much complimented them. We were explained very thoroughly the origin of the wines and reasons for the selected food pairing. Everyone was bright and cheerful which added to the experience, and I'd definitely return again if I was in the area. Recommended!

We were given a gift for a wine and food pairing experience. It was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted by Ryan with a big welcoming smile, shown to our table and was given the option of having a drink first or starting our experience, we opted for a drink as the cocktails were buy 1 get 1 free. 2 long island teas for £8.50 can't go wrong. Ryan brought the food and 4 glasses of wines each and explained that the wines were exclusive to Veenos from their own vineyard in Sicily, she told us all about each wine in detail and which food complimented each wine. She was extremely knowledgeable and so passionate about both the food and wine. The food and wines were to the highest standard. We can highly recommend Veenos for food, wine and service and we will definitely be back.

Top quality and 5* level of service! The staff were really welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The food is exquisite so if you’ve got the opportunity to try I would highly recommend it! Excellent value for food and drink prices! Don’t believe me? Go give it a try because I can promise you’ll love it!

Brilliant service and a great selection of wines (obviously), I thought the sharing board was a little miserly for the money but what was in there was all really nice. A limited selection of beers but I guess there's lots of other places nearby if it's beer you want. Interior really well done and a great location for midweek office drinks but not too far from the centre to make it part if a weekend adventure either.

The best place to go for food and drinks is Veeno! We have just finished a beautiful Taglieri along with numerous delicious cocktails. Service is impeccable and they cannot do enough for you. Mary, our waitress was incredible and we will be back very soon to enjoy another fabulous afternoon.

The food, the wine, the staff - all excellent. You are made to feel so welcome here, it’s like visiting family. We had the I Quattro Rossi and we’re talked through the experience. Plenty for the two of us to eat and drink. Wonderful!

We did 'a taste of sicily' which was supposed to 5 wines paired to a dish. Wine tasting was nice, as it was a special occasion for a friends 40th we wanted to do something different, 2 whites, 1 Rose and 2 reds. wine was lovely! However we didn't feel it was good value for money as we got a platter of charcuterie meats and cheeses and 70ml of each wine per person for £35pp, and not a dish as the menu suggested. you could have a 3course meal and 3 wines for £25pp at the same place so not sure why this was more expensive for a few chunks of cheese/slices of meat. If you want some wine and cheese/meat, go for that on the menu and spend half the price. We mentioned it to the waitress who wasn't really that bothered, didn't apologise for the way we felt or even try to make it up to us, it was pretty much nevermind!

Nice premises, new and clean. Pleasant helpful staff. In my opinion it feels more like a wine bar that does food rather than a restaurant that serves drinks. Definitely worth a visit and I would definitely use again, even though menu is limited in my opinion.

We had a really delightful afternoon at Veeno’s. The service delivered by Carlos, Carmen and Milo was unbeatable. The food was fresh, authentic and really delicious. We had afternoon tea with fresh mozzarella, smoked cheese, Parma ham followed by fresh scones, amazing canolli filled with mascarpone and berries. We will certainly return. Brilliant service. The food was really salty, it gave my girlfriend stomach cramps that night. Also I only got one piece of tuna in my meal, and the starter portions were a bit measly. However the place looked nice inside, there was a good selection of drinks and the actual flavour of the food was decent. A rating of two feels a bit harsh considering I ate all the food (I have a high tolerance for salt) but there was a bitter taste of being cheated after we left.

Great little wine bar in quieter part of city centre. Simple but tasty food choices... the swordfish ravioli is delicious & they serve the nicest olives I've had in this country...large & fresh. It's unpretentious & quite simple but friendly. As well as a good wine choice they serve bottled Peroni Grand Reserve which is excellent.

Afternoon tea was spectacular. High quality produce, lovingly presented. All staff were extremely welcoming and you couldn't ask for more. Well actually we could ....£9.50 for a large pint grigio is appalling. Remember where your restaurant is situated! Shame as it would have been a 5/5 otherwise.

It was fine, definitely felt like a chain with the stock speech about the wines, there was no passion about what they were saying. Venue was OK but pretty quiet on a Friday evening. Definitely not returning.

Great wine and delicious food, service was excellent also. We had the grandisimo sharing board that was amazing - delicious meats and cheeses with some lovely bread. We also shared a pizza which was lovely. We will definitely visit Veeno if we return to Leeds.

Really nice place, food and drinks were superb and the service was excellent too. We got an afternoon tea voucher as a gift, which consisted of food, unlimited coffee and tea, and a glass of prosecco (or Mocktail in our case). A great idea, and a really nice break from the standard afternoon tea set up. Didn't order from the main menu, but did have a good look (obviously!). Looks to be a great choice of food for a light lunch or an evening meal. We were there for lunch time and there was a steady stream of people from offices in the complex which is a good sign of the quality of the place in my view. Would definitely recommend, and I will be going back again for sure!
