Reviews of Water Lane Boathouse
L. F.
Popped in here for a quick beer and some chips before catching the train. Nice vibe inside and outside it's set on the canal. Only in for a short time been seemed a good place 👌

Relaxed, easy-going vibe with great outdoor area perfect for casual drinks. The wharf-side location is right at the heart of where the River Aire meets the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Leeds city centre. The food is really good, whether you're eating out casually or celebrating - this is what we had for a birthday party last week and also had a work Christmas do with quality catering two years ago.

Me and my wife arrived on a Saturday afternoon to find a crowd of people blocking the entrance and not one person there to greet us or seat us. After standing in a queue at the bar amongst others getting a drink we were pointed at where to sit despite a reservation. There was no actual service given and we weren’t even told how and where to order food and drinks. Looking around we had to assume you went up to the bar to order food. And that bring me onto my next problem. The bar area was incredibly tight and messy. There was no indication of who was ordering first or a separation of food and drink orders. I stood at the bar for 15 minutes whilst bar staff chatted and giggled. Not impressed. This would not have been a problem if the ordering app displayed actually worked.
After ordering we sat down to blasting music in our ears barely able to hear myself think. Admittedly we didn’t know the atmosphere would be so loud but they could separate the people eating to the quieter upstairs area.
We were left waiting for 50 minutes after ordering even thinking our food hadn’t gone through before it finally came. We were questioning leaving if we hadn’t already paid. When given the food we weren’t asked if we would like anything e.g condiments and the waiter didn’t even apologise for the huge wait.
Anyway, the only reason we gave 3 stars was the food. For the price the burger and chips we ordered was top quality. Especially the skin on fries were very good I couldn’t get enough. The burger was well seasoned and different to what I’ve had before. I ordered the “spicy one”. It was very nice. We left promptly after finishing our meal to get some peace and quiet.

Great place. Lively and good location right next to the canal
View down canal towards Water Lane Boathouse

I've been here often enough now and have loved every experience. The staff are all friendly, great selection of drinks and the food is always fantastic - that includes great vegan options (the burger is unbelievable).
I highly recommend the pub quiz too, every Monday; It's always a blast and I look forward to one day winning price is right!

Spent a nice two hours here on a busy Saturday lunchtime.
Despite there being a large amount of people visiting at that time we still managed to find somewhere outside to sit in the sun.
The queues for the bars (although quite long) went down pretty quickly. It's worth noting that there's also an outside bar as well as the main inside one.
There was also a small tequila / cocktail bar outside as well.
If you want a light lunch it's worth trying the taco street food trailer to the left of the boathouse main entrance, the chicken tacos (£7 a portion for 3 taco's) were really good.
We'll worth a visit here to the Boathouse Pub / Restaurant, especially if the weather is good.

Generously cheap beverages. Lovely staff. Great seating overlooking the river. Honestly a great place to take.some mates and have a few drinks or take the whole gang and have a meal. Each to their own. Enjoyed it here for my 25th birthday.
Men's toilets could be on the ground floor. Only critism.
P. W.
Great place for a family meet up- good outside place and games options inside for the kids. Also dog friendly. Little disappointed with the food options as a lot were not available. I know it was the bank holiday weekend but they should plan better. Food we did have was great quality and filling.
D. B. (.
Great venue, particularly if good weather and dining outside. A slight problem with our meal order (10/08/21) but was professionally dealt with by the serving staff, excellent food and great selection of drinks. Definitely recommend Water Lane Boathouse.
K. N.
Nice bar, called in early doors Sunday lunch time, chilling out by the Leeds & Liverpool canal. A bit disappointing as no cask ales on at the time, Guinness was nice. Didn't eat, but the pizza and burgers looked nice.
Friendly Staff.
A. L.
I've been a few times now. The food is nice just be prepared to wait a while for it.
Staff are really lovely. Even when waiting 45mins for food or a separate time when they bought the wrong salad due to a menu error they were apologetic, understanding and I still had a nice time.
J. j.
Great food. Good atmosphere. Lovely beer garden. A little understaffed on my last visit. But won't put me off.
J. W.
Amazing location, great atmosphere and delicious food! The Monday night pub quizzes are the perfect thing to do with your friends.
d. p.
Staff were really friendly and efficient, food was amazing! Really enjoyed the stone baked pizza oven food. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere for my family get together.
L. J.
Great outdoor seating area. Visited twice. Both times took a while to get served. Second visit, the queue was backed up to the door, need to put more staff on.
A. L.
I love it here. Favrouite place in Leeds. So good. Two double gins for £9.50? Are you kidding me? That’s brilliant. Like no other. Superb service and delicious food. Well done Waterlane Boathouse. Thank you for getting me out and keeping me young.
L. D.
Sunday pizzas half price and still delicious. Coffee was good too and the view across the canal worth sitting with a drink for an hour.
d. g.
Situated out of town but on the riverside it's especially nice to sit outside in the summer. Great food especially when there's an offer on! 😉
J. S.
Sat outside on a sunny Saturday.
Very busy and hugely understaffed.
Wait time was extremely long to get served and staff were disorganised.
Great canal side location.
A shame as this has been a great venue in the past.
K. K.
Great place with fantastic atmosphere. Good vibes next to the canal, specialty when is sunny.Nice food and friendly staff.
(Not easy to eat with plastic tools and it is hard to enjoy with this new restrictions-COVID)
Definitely I will visit again

This is a bit of a favourite watering hole for me, although I'd never got round to eating here previously. Went on a Wednesday evening when they were running a 50% off the menu offer. My friend and I opted for the sourdough pizzas, one vegetarian, the other pepperoni and salami. Both were delicious and at full price would have been great value, at half price they were a bargain. Friendly service, great atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. I'll be back to work my way through the menu another time.
S. W.
Great location and proper tasty beer!
K. J.
Excellent location, for , a great afternoon celebrating my Nephew's 40 th Birthday..
Good selection of beers 🍻 and nice food.
L. R.
Had to wait to be served for ages while 3 members for staff stood chatting behind d the bar the location is nice if you get a warm day
K. B.
A nice bar which always has a good atmosphere. The pizzas are a bit mediocre but they have a good selection of drinks.
L. L.
There was a hair on my salad, but staff were very considerate about it, made me a new salad, gave me a full refund and a free drink.
The food itself was divine and very responsibly priced. They have a 5* food hygiene rating, so I wasn't too put off.
It was extremely busy at the time we went so our food order took a long time to arrive.
D. E.
Came here on a Wednesday as there is 50% off vegan and veggie food. The vegan salad was very nice, we paid extra for avocado and had we been paying full price I would have been dissapointed by the amount. It costs an extra £2.50 to add avocado and there was at most a third of an avocado added. The vegan pizza is nice but would be better with vegan cheese or more toppings (would be happy to pay a bit more for it to have vegan cheese). There was a mix up with our order so we had to chase up some of the food we ordered as it didn't show up with the salad. Have to say on a Wednesday with the deal the veggie food it's excellent value.
L. C.
Visited here a couple of times on work outings, place is always clean, tidy and welcoming. Drinks are reasonably priced and include a lot of local and micro brands. Being by the waterside is a massive plus aswell.
R. R.
We had one of the best vegan pizzas ever and the vegan burger was simply divine. Even our meat eaters friends were extreme impressed by them. The chips are also so good we had to order 3 portions 😋
Lovely service too and the fact that the venue is also dog friendly simply makes this place a wonderful spot to visit!
R. H.
Was in on Monday for the pub quiz and the place was heaving! Great atmosphere and great quiz. Service was good despite how busy it was and the pizza was delicious
C. K.
Great location by the river if the weather is good and will sit outside, indoor atmosphere is nice as well especially if you get a table by the river, what is more some of the drinks I had in the evenings are quite nice! Downside is if you are a coffee lover and would like a coffee on a sunny day, they won’t serve any although they do have a coffee machine...
D. J.
Fantastic friendly staff. Lovely food. Definitely worth a visit.. xx
S. B.
Really really good pizza, was a work dinner so I stuck to non alcoholic beer which was a little expensive. It was a nice place with beautiful views over the canal and granary wharf, only downside was a slightly disheveled man slowly circling out table and blatantly attempting to steal our stuff, we were on to him, but unfortunately another group got their stuff stolen
H. D.
What can I say! A sunny day at the boathouse is better than a week in Spain - have you tried the elderflower spritz 😩 amazing. The food and the atmosphere was superb - the amazing staff made the experience.
J. C.
Brilliant food and great atmosphere. Sat outside by the river and was a nice place for a pint
J. R.
Literally only had one drink here so cannot tell you anything other than I enjoyed my drink from a friendly efficient staff member outside at a table.
H. Y.
Great choice of drinks, lovely outdoor seating & the quiz nights are always good fun
R. S.
Updated review June 2022. None of the staff seem overly interested in the customers, nobody greeting or telling customers where to sit. Food on a Sunday is 50% off pizzas. Just as well as they were average at best. Feels like it's really gone downhill since lockdown. Diavola pizza was not spicy at all, lacked toppings and the spicy pork and mince was not spicy. Margherita pizza was missing the basil and short on cheese. All in all very disappointing and wont be going back any time soon. A shame as it used to be great
D. B.
Fantastic location for a sunny afternoon sitting out on the waterfront drinking. The Saltaire Blonde was excellent and the staff friendly.
D. A.
Great venuez, very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Perfect place to visit on a hot day
R. S.
Rocked up from the canal on our paddleboards and grabbed a cheeky pint, can't beat the location!
C. H.
Space was very cold. Sandwiches are quite expensive and don't come with chips as stands rd. My Christmas club was disappointing as they went too heavy on the condiments and it threw the flavour balance out. Forgot one of our parties order but did refund it and provide tge food still.
P. W.
Excellent service, delicious pizzas and card only. What's not to like?
B. B.
Cracking pub. Great food and range of ales. Lovely staff. Nice open environment. Love it!
F. W.
Great pub, good location. Quite pricy for drinks
D. E.
Came here on a Wednesday as there is 50% off vegan and veggie food. The vegan salad was very nice, we paid extra for avocado and had we been paying full price I would have been dissapointed by the amount. It costs an extra £2.50 to add …
C. H.
I have only recently discovered the delights of the boat house but it's a great place to sit and relax on the canal side in what is a usually very bustling city. It's a little out of the way but well worth a visit.
The pizzas are to die for too!
I did knock a star off as at my last visit they had run out of any sort of Ale on hand pull!
L. L.
There was a hair on my salad, but staff were very considerate about it, made me a new salad, gave me a full refund and a free drink. …
R. J.
Been a few times enjoyable experiences every time.
S. B.
Lovely again fab staff again ... Hope to visit again 🙂
P. S.
A lovely family pub even for your dogs
K. K.
Fabulous place, great bar staff.
K. R.
Good place, i think it's the same owners of belgrave and headrow house. Can be expensive
P. B.
Great tequila and taco festival. On the canal side.
P. B.
Pretty good. Food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is nice.
J. B.
A nice location, great outside drinking in good weather, not particularly sheltered. Ordering app was tricky to use and service was steady.
Food was fine although when serving the food, one of our group was told they did not have any cutlery available and no real alternative was given. Got the sense they were busy and staff they had were struggling to keep up.
A. F.
Water Lane Boathouse certainly punches above it's weight as bars go. Really good selection of beers, great looking and feeling bar right on the canal and the food is excellent both pizzas and burgers are great but with a genuine pizza oven I'd suggesf pizzas.
D. W.
Good beers, decent outdoor space, canalside view. Nice at night.
m. c.
Right on the waterfront and housed in an historic building, this place serves a wide variety of decent local and imported beers and apparently does food as well! What's not to like? I dropped a star only because it's not quite my niche. It can get busy. There are too many cheerful young folk and too few grumpy old men. But on a sunny afternoon, sitting by the canal in this little oasis at the heart of the city is an exquisite and fundamentally Leeds pleasure. Cue mellow music...
N. B.
As a student it was a little bit expensive but if you take the deals it's very affordable! The Pizza was 50% of on Sunday so just 3,5 - 4,5 pound! We shared a £15 Prosecco bottle which was good! We sat in the sun next to the river for 3 hours I think! Cocktails are expensive but they do deals too so just ask for them if you're tight on money. Location is probably one of the best in Leeds!
R. G.
Loved the whole atmosphere, lovely dockside seating to enjoy too.
R. M.
Nice atmosphere friendly staff nice food too hope to be back soon
C. O.
Nice place to have some drinks, also the food is quite nice especially the skin on fries.
J. J.
Set up well for the current guidelines, the staff are all friendly and helpful, and the app for ordering your beer is handy. Orders are a bit slow to come to the table but you soon get your timings sorted and will know how far down your pint you get before putting in your next order
P. B.
Pretty good. Food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is nice.
B. R.
I have been to water lane many times and had so many great memories. Its bit odd that I never went to leave a review. Food is always spot on, great service and most importantly it probably has the best beer garden in Leeds. Been there over the last weekend, had to stand in a long queue but that's understandable given its such a popular place coping with the extra demand after lockdown. Special shout out to the Small Victories Burger!
M. I. B.
Super place, didn't know it was so close to my home. This could be the new local!
Super atmosphere, quality fittings, furniture and I really like the boathouse theme.
P. B.
Great atmosphere, food was very tasty, would recommend
h. y.
Yummy yummy in my tummy, drinks so good give me another double rummy x
R. J.
The food (burger and chips) was high quality for sure, although, the serving size was a tad on the skimpy side and the 2 person outdoor tables were awkward to sit at. Furthermore, the cutlery was made of flimsy wood and made eating the food feel like a bit of a challenge. The atmosphere was great and the location is great. Small changes can be made to make this place a definite 5 stars. (Ps. If you’re looking to drink outside then the mens toilet is a good minute or two away depending on how long your legs are.)
D. R.
Great recently new bar which is the third edition to the family of Leeds bars including Belgrave Social and Headrow House. Similar to the others in its rustic aesthetic and good selection of craft beer. A nice addition to the canal wharf area.
R. C.
Beautiful venue and a great drink selection. The chefs are really attentive and put out some brilliant meals, only thing that I have experienced negatively was the bar being a free for all, with staff serving everyone out of order.
P. N.
Great bar with good views and old mill vibe. Slightly expensive. Gets very busy
A. B.
Absolute gem of a place, great priced food and amazing location by the river. I had a mushroom pizza which was just amazing, the dough itself was delicious and the toppings were to die for. Totally recommend!
S. H.
From a location and stuff perspective I'd give 5 stars. It's beautiful outdoors and indoors. Also the 'Spicy One' burger was quite good and comes in a sustainable carton with wooden fork.
But I have to subtract 2 stars as beer and shots (doesn't matter if indoors or outdoors) will be served in plastic tumblers. It hurts thinking about how much waste that place produces every single day.
Have to say that it was Euro game day England vs Croatia which could explain the plastic tumblers. Will amend my rating if they serve beverages in glass pints on my next visit.
N.
Lovely location, but extremely slow food service twice in a row. Patchy both times when it did arrive after over an hour, needing some orders to be chased. Go for a beer, don't go for food.
S. M.
Went here for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back; the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, lovely big selection of beers, food was beautiful, lovely to sit by the canal and watch the boats go past, an excellent pub all round. This one gets five pints of golden ale from me 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
M. M.
Lovely bar and nice view right onto the canal but long waiting times at the bar even when its not heaving
K.
Plenty of outdoor seating with cover and really delicious pizza.
S. H.
Love the atmosphere and the vibe of Water Lane Boathouse #waterlaneboathouseleeds
Fantastic venue, helpful and accomodating staff especially as this was on the Saturday that England beat the Ukraine in the Euros and we also had the biblical rain and thunder storms.
We were sat outside on a bench under an umbrella and the screen was showing the match. The food was perfect and the service was quick.
We, stupidly, had booked a two hour slot and were due to leave at the end of the first. One of the team working at the boathouse told us that the people who were due to take our seats had cancelled and if we wanted we could stay. Naturally we did.
Second half the weather exploded and it threw it down. The staff were out with help from customers ensuring the TV and the electrical setup was protected.
This is exactly what you want from a venue. The management team and the staff all went that extra mile to ensure our safety and our enjoyment never waivered.
We will be visiting again in August and can't wait to experience the same hospitality again.
I. B.
Staff really attentive and helpful. Not a lot of options regarding food, but they had plenty of beers (not a lot of ciders though). Drinks were good, chips were really good.
J. B.
Great food, great service, slightly slow for food but the food was of a high standard!
Reasonably priced, not much on the menu but simplicity is a good thing.
Well worked with the party who came and very polite throughout
P. S.
It's very difficult to accurately describe hospitality venues at the moment due to obvious reasons so my opinion is based purely on gut instinct. The place was packed to the rafters outside due to the weather so there was an initial queue of about 20 minutes just to get seated. I was given a table specifically reserved for smokers so this wasn't ideal but beggars can't be choosers. This biggest disappointment was the selection of lagers which was dull and uninteresting and expensive. Had to settle on Heineken at £5 a pop. The prerequisite masks are bloody awful and remove all semblance of normality. Customer service was okay.
S. H.
They said no booking on holidays so we got there early in hopes to get a table with a cover. Instead, all of those tables were BOOKED and we were stuck in the rain. They said the bookings were a mistake but they still has to honor them, which I understand but was really frustrating for us. Otherwise the food and drinks were fine although hard to properly enjoy.
A. G.
Very cosy place (but still a decent size). Good selection of drinks and proper pizza! Excellent beer garden, although this can get quite busy when the sun is out. Only slight criticism, is the new system for ordering via the app still needs some work. Not all the drinks they have are on the app and others that were on the app, we're out of stock.
D. K.
Good place, lots of seating inside and out
S. K.
Nice place, friendly helpful staff, delicious pizzas and sandwiches...
G. B.
Due to covid restrictions we had to sit outside but we were in a lovely canalside setting, under a huge umbrella with good heaters, on a timer but you could keep turning them back on , so cosy on a cold, wet May night! The setting & atmosphere was quite vibrant. We liked the place & inside the bar, which also serves food looked very nice & clean. We felt covid safe & did track & trace upon arrival & there was a one way system & staff wore masks.
Service was quite prompt but a little confused. We just wanted 2 coffees & I had a dark rum, with ginger. We asked for an extra shot in both coffees as we like it strong, with hot milk on the side.
The waitress was very pleasant but only brought one coffee, without extra shot!
The other coffee, when it finally arrived tasted better as did have the extra shot! The milk tasted a bit strange, rather like UHT milk & we would have preferred ordinary milk.
I wasn't asked if I wanted ice or lime in my drink.l wanted a slice of lime but no ice as it was a cold evening.
I just got loads of ice & no lime in my dark, spicy rum & ginger.
Overall, a nice place but not very good service at all.
We did like the ' Dog Bar' idea , with water bowls for dogs, as we have 2 dogs but they were not with us that night as we had gone out for a meal for my birthday, at Livin Italy, across the bridge at Granary Wharf.
W. G.
Good if you want burgers really friendly staff great outdoor space in good weather. Indoors looks full of character right on waterfront. Reasonable prices.
K. K.
Fabulous place, great bar staff.
D. M.
Always a top place to visit, been several times and will return. Nice outside in the sun, nice inside of an evening. Food simple but sound. Best is the top staff. Recommended.
K. R.
Good place, i think it's the same owners of belgrave and headrow house. Can be expensive
B. K.
Always a lovely visit, went on a Monday for the quiz £5 per team and a free pizza!! Also ate there the chicken and chorizo burger again
P. N.
Went for half price burger Tuesday, and honestly, can't say any faults with this. The meal was fantastic. If being cheeky, only way this could be improved is if they added a drink to it, but a really decent burger and fries for just over £5!! Can't complain
E. N.
The good - great location; great food
The bad - service is ok... kinda... a couple of the staff could do with shaving off some arrogance
Alternatives - Usually only go to Boathouse if everywhere else is packed... but always happy with the quality of food and drink
T. O.
Not a bad spot once I worked out how to get there across the canals from the station. A bit pricey maybe but no worse than other Leeds pubs
L. W.
Amazing pizza. Good gin deal and drinks. The bar itself is modern and old with water coming right up to the windows on the bar.
J. W. (.
We took advantage of their January offer of 50% off food and it was excellent. Delicious pizzas and salad. Even at full price it would be well worth it. Beer was also excellent and a perfectly reasonable £3.30 a pint. The views are lovely too. Will definitely return.
T. H.
Really nice pub, always busy with a good environement. Free board games to play and the outside seating has great views with the amenities of an outside bar.
Prices can vary largely between pints and quite unpredictable. Pizza we had was watery and not entirely pleasant, would not stop us returning though.
E. V.
Ales were great and location brilliant (canal-side). Good food too. Worth a visit for a relaxing lunch.
D. T.
Pre booked table for six lovely place and covid 19 friendly felt safe and like a normal night out, will be back again
M. M.
This is a lovely pub in Leeds, just outside the city centre along the canal. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. The bar area was nice and clean. The toilets were clean and stocked with the essentials. The drinks were served in interesting glasses which is always a plus in my book. There is a decent range of real ale available here. There is a nice variety of seating available, from lounge settees to bench seats. There is a relaxed atmosphere here. There is a decent outdoor seating area available. Dogs are welcome here, with the staff providing doggy drinking bowls.
S. J.
Hit it wrong time...followed big gang of men/women into pub, sweared a bit but eventually got served beer good , two hand pumps only one on when i visited that i could have bought cheaper 3 mins away at HOP but all in all nice atmosphere.
J. C.
Definitely has teething problems. But staff are polite and the beer is good. Food festival had an amazing atmosphere too.
L. F.
Really cool place had a guy spinning some vinyl inside. Outside there's lots of seating next to the canal with heaters situated above some tables. Great selection of ales, beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Nice place, friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere.
D. P.
Great service, even better food. Dan came through with the seat outside even though we didn’t think it was possible. He’s made our night, against all odds. Will be back for more!
R. C.
Great spot on a sunny day, but the service is very slow. My friends and I had to queue for ~20-30 mins to go in despite there being tables free as the bar was "backed up with orders".
D.
Good service and quick and easy food options (pizza, burgers).
Recommend the chips with anything they are fantastic. Have been going for years now.
J. N.
Nice canalfront pub only 5 mins walk from Leeds City Square. Only had drinks here ordered through the app due to Covid protocol but they were served quickly by friendly staff. Would visit again if in the area.
L. S.
My favourite spot in Leeds. Great food and zero attitude. Great to bring you dog.
C. R.
Waterlane Boathouse is the kind of place you can sit and watch the world go by, enjoying the views of the canal. Make sure you’ve got a few quid if you plan to do that as it is a bit pricey. Food is very tasty, while the drinks are fine, can be flat at times but normally fine.
C. D.
Love this place. Great food, decent drinks selection and they run a cracking quiz on a Monday.
T. S.
We called in for a quick “one” and were made very welcome by the friendly bar staff. The place was very busy but the young lady at the bar (sorry can’t remember her name) was really professional and friendly. Ended up stopping for several in the end. Food looked and smelt delicious too although we only had drinks. Will definitely return to try the pizzas next time.
L. S.
Only reason there isn't a 5 is the wait time for food. Bit lengthy when it's that quiet. I know, I know... "covid excuses all" but half an hour for a pizza in a dead pub is a bit rough. Also, the selection is... well, I'm judging it on my standards. A bit... "hoppy"
If you like something outside the parameters of standard lager and hoppy specials then maybe look elsewhere.
Having said that, the environment is beautiful. Canalside and a bevvy is always nice.
W. S.
Great beer and pizza, beers a bit overpriced
P. B.
Great tequila and taco festival. On the canal side.
G. M.
Nathan was an amazing manager! He made the day with his best customer service! The boathouse is functioning fab because of people like him!
L. H.
Tasty food, a good selection of drinks, and friendly staff.
P. S.
A lovely family pub even for your dogs
D. C.
Promises so much but under delivers.
Slow service at the bar pretty much every time you visit, the food is decent enough but again always takes an age to be served, which in conjunction with the wait time to order isn't ideal. Especially if visiting on a lunch break.
N. P.
Really great pizza (the dough is super tasty) and a good selection of beers. I would only comment on the staff, since I was waiting for 20 minutes until the lady said I should order at the counter - it is not something a person coming here for the first time would know. I assume this place is great in the summer, overlooking the canal and with tables outside. Really cute and well priced, so definitely worth a visit.
S. O.
I've only been there a couple of times but had a really great night tonight. Lots of special offers on food throughout the week, tonight (Wednesday) was 50% off on all veggie and vegan dishes so I got the crispy halloumi and avocado burger which was superb and came with plenty of chips and salad for about £4. Great atmosphere, lovely setting and loads of sheltered outdoor seating too. Will definitely go back more often and be recommending to friends and family.
A. D.
Just had a couple of beers her so can't comment on food.
Live music was very loud and ended up driving us away.
Would go back if no live music.
M. Z.
The place is nicely located next to the river. You have a good view of over the river. The drinks are fine but only recommend having beer here. Also the food is nice. They have a nice steak and fries offer on Sunday lunch menu. Overall recommend the place to try for few drinks with friends or a nice casual meal.
K. M.
Shame that they don't have as many tables available to book, but they can take walk ins at the minute too. Waited about 20 minutes for a table so not too bad. Easy to order on the app and quick service!
g. l.
Nice atmosphere, great views from the huge outdoor area....shame we were ushered out of it at 10.30.
L. P.
Came in last week, when the weather was great so the venue was packed. Bar was very busy but staff were on top of it, friendly and speedy. We ordered food which was amazing as usual - pizzas are great! Will be back again!
R. J.
Been a few times enjoyable experiences every time.
L. R.
Really nice atmosphere, windows overlook one of the canals which I really like about here. Pizzas are very good, a range of toppings to suit anyone. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Can't find fault.
A. R.
Went here for my niece's fortieth birthday bash. The staff reserved a number of tables for our party and we're excellent. Drink prices were a little high but this was offset by 50% reduction in food prices. I can imagine that in daytime in nice weather the location would make using the outside space on the waterfront very enjoyable.
H. M.
Stunning location on the gentrified canal area in Leeds. Everywhere is lifted by a beautiful summers day in England, but this is a bar for all seasons
T. G.
Beautiful place to go to for drinks or food in the summer. Watched a couple of world cup matches there, indoors and outdoors. Indoors the windows open out onto the canal which is lovely, especially in the evening. Staff are lovely too. It can get busy after work and it is a favourite spot for locals but that just adds to the atmosphere.
K.
Great food and good service. Nice to sit outside and watch the boats coming and going and always a good atmosphere.
f. m.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating and there was plenty of space for a large group of us with babies. Plenty of good vegan options on the menu too. Friends said the pizzas were great. Will be back!
M. G.
Amazing atmosphere. So laid back, unlike most bars in Leeds, you don't feel the pressure to get dressed up. Great food deals most days of the week as well. Authentic pizza oven makes the sourdough pizzas very tasty! Lovely pizzas, burgers, sandwiches selection, as well as (large) salad bowls. We love all the boardgames you can borrow and the view on the canal. Lovely in summer as well with the large beer garden. Pet friendly. Only downside: it gets (very) busy on weekend nights! Best time to visit is during weekdays or Sunday night.
M. L.
Love the sour dough pizzas from here, and they have great deals on through the week. Dog friendly and the staff are always very welcoming. Had been many a time and will continue to go back.
L. H.
They do some excellent deals on home made pizzas and burgers that really are too good not to try out. they're location is a little out the way but worth is on a summers day where you can have a delicious craft beer by the water. Service can be a little slow sometimes but what rush are you in?
J. W.
20/10 quiz... I’m old and got side-swiped by some questions. Kept me on my toes. Love Heineken. Great place.
B. B.
Nice range of beers in a variety of different settings in which to enjoy them, this would be a summer or winter social hub for the flat dwellers of the river area. Can't directly comment on the food, but the pizzas looked really authentic on other people's plates! Nor have the developers tried to be over cool, and have let the buildings original features shine through.
S. G.
Good food, great location. Really hate the app though, it doesn't allow for any substitions to food orders and you can't order tap water (?).
S. B.
Lovely again fab staff again ... Hope to visit again 🙂
D. P.
It's OK. Food and drink expensive, burgers only average. I've had better from much cheaper takeaways. I wouldn't bother again.
T. S. (.
Always great food and drinks here! We come every year for our annual Staff Gathering
M. F.
Met friends for a Covid friendly outdoor meal. I have to say I had one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Plain and simple cheese and tomato but absolutely delicious.
C. F.
Went on a Sunday (Pizzas are 241) thought the pizzas was excellent, especially for the price. Place was dog friendly and brought my poo some water. Went back on a Monday and found that although the pizza was nice, it wasn't as good as the first time around.
N. D.
Very pleasantly surprisied. Was expecting sky-high prices but had very reasonably priced Kirkstall Pale (one of my favourites). We also ate and the burgers and pizzas were excellent. Nice atmosphere and canal-side location. Well recommended.
R. G.
Really nice place for a quick bite, burgers are delicious and the chips are amazing. Really friendly staff
A. M.
Sitting outdoors here provides the perfect spacefor safe socialising. Being able to bring dogs is a lovely bonus. The food and the service are even better than ever, if possible. We love the GF options as well.
E. H.
Nice lunch with the wife, she had a beetroot salad and I had a pizza - both very nice. Good range of beers too. They've really opened it out compared to the old pour house, so it feels much roomier and you feel like you're right in the canal.
M. E. N.
Lots of space for groups without feeling massive or cavernous. Great beer garden on the canal. Good deals on food. Decent beer selection- usually a few craft as well as cask.
E. K.
Newly build riverside pub from the creators of Headrow house. Great interior and the exterior. Many alcoholic beverages to choose from, food options and lovely atmosphere. It is a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the canal view while sipping a chilled wheat 🍺. I am still surprised how easy it is to find and nice it looks. I was told on a busy day or night there is a garden bar and good music. Check it out!
J. C.
This place is fantastic in the summer. Great outdoor space and great atmosphere. Sadly, everytime I've been there are huge queues at the bar which can take 15 minutes + to navigate. Food is great and well priced but takes a long time to come. The record was 1 hour 10 mins. They did however refund me and give me the food anyway. Great place but let down on service (multiple visits so this is not a one off review).
O. D.
The Boathouse is a very pleasant and popular bar. It has a great location on the quayside of the canal, and you can even look out at water level from the lower bar.
The food is good, especially the sharing platters. The drinks selection is reasonable, with some really interesting options, although I'd personally like a wider selection of ales. The ones they have are good, but mostly IPA with one interesting stout (at £6.50 a pint!)
There are large tables, and its great for groups and larger parties
B. S. (.
Excellent food, friendly service... A real hidden gem!
A. M.
Fantastic pizzas in a great spot overlooking the canal. Reasonably priced, particularly on a Sunday when they offer 50% off food. Good selection of beers and wines, highly recommended.
C. K.
Great in the summer, huge seating area outside. Fab pizza. Beers a little overpriced, not worth the trip out in winter, personally. Some good mid week deals though on 🍕 and burgers 🙂.
K. B.
Lovely place and not too bad for non alcoholic beers (I was driving) Dog friendly too and great location
m. b.
Lovely pub, lovely views unfortunate cold weather kept us inside would like to return in summer to sit outside. £5.60 a pint expensive though. Don't like dogs being allowed to sit on chairs near tables with food.
L. S.
Gonna score 4 because we didn't eat.
Staff friendly.
Knew the beer.
Music pumping
Lots off chatter.
Clean loos.
Not a bad price for beer
And tables not sticky.
Massive pizza oven upstairs huge
K.
We hired a space downstairs for my husbands 40th party & wanted to say thank you to everyone at Waterlane Boathouse. So many people commented on how beautiful the venue is & how fabulous the pizzas were! The atmosphere, drinks, staff, music, food & location were all fabulous. It was a perfect place for us to hold a party & everything from booking to on the night was so easy to organise with you guys so thank you!
C. I.
The setting is great the food is good but the service always lets this place down. Maybe share the staff amongst the three venues or have consistent training for all? Hard to think with the outstanding ox club in the portfolio that at the boat house they're not even sure how to make a coffee!
L. B.
Nice setting by the river with decent food and drinks. The service wasn't particularly fast however and the music was far too loud.
C. D.
Located off Water Lane by canal in Leeds centre. Outdoor seating. Good views of canal and surrounding areas. Good selection of beers, wines etc. Sells coffee and has food menu. Oven Pizzas highly recommended. Reasonably priced. Wheelchair access & toilets.
J. S.
Fantastic evening last night. Great vibrant atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and the food was simply delicious. Great glass of rose too! Very highly recommended. I will be back !!!
S. W.
Reasonable prices on the river in a good area near the train station. Food in the form of pizza and burgers are available.
The place is nice but the staff let it down. I come here alot as it's close to work, there's always a wait at the bar due to lazy staff/ understaffed. Has potential if they pull their finger out.
G. S.
Nice place to have drinks near the canal. A few bars and restaurants to choose around this area.
J. B.
Food is really good and often 50% off which is a great bargain. Bottles of Prosecco are available for £15 all the time. They have lots of board games available and a big outside seating area
A. V.
Went on a hot day with children and dog. All made to feel extremely welcome. Bowls of water provided for the dog and bottle warming service for the baby. Member of staff, Alex, went out of her way to accommodate us. Will definitely go again soon.
S. B.
Went here for the ale and pie festival! Love it when local bars go the extra mile in bringing people together. What a cool place and the event was super! I'm happy we arrived early as I'm pretty sure they ran out of pies soon after we left.
D. S.
Lovely food, will definitely return on my next visit to Leeds
O. S.
Lovely place for a drink. Nice location. Staff were very nice
A. D.
Visited for lunch with two friends a couple of weeks ago. Menu looked decent, good range of burgers, pizza, salad and sandwhiches etc. We ordered at the bar and sat down at the table to wait. It wasn't particularly busy but we had quite a long wait before any food came to us. Eventually just one burger came and the other two meals were nowhere to be seen. We waited a bit longer before managing to grab one of the people working there and asked about the other meals. The food was nice when it eventually arrived by which time our friend had long since finished his burger and we just got a sort of 'sorry bout that' from the waitress. Not great when you only have an hour for lunch!
M. G.
Out for a post-christmas walk along the canal with the kids and the dog, it was great (and wholly unexpected!) to find somewhere that literally catered for all! Great selection of both drinks and food, a warm welcome and a stroke for the dog. Will definitely be back in future!
J. B.
Good beer, good service and great pizza.
L. D. C.
Had drinks at on the canal. Lovely spot. We had home made pizza/garlic bread, which fresh and flavoursome. Partners craft beer was good, so he said.
L. S.
Wasn't so busy but still felt the bar staff were rushed and was slow service. Also very pricey at £22 for 2 gins
B. L.
I visited waterlane boathouse recently for the first time and was pleasantly after reading the mixed reviews on tripadvisor. I had a fantastic afternoon there. The staff were very friendly. I visited with my two young children, who had an even better time than I - with a free kids pizza and lovely chats with the staff! A great atmosphere, I will definitely visit again.
F. H.
Great place to hang out ! Food is excellent and a really tasty menu. Dogs are welcome and there's also a big outside area as well. Half price food most days of the week.
P. T.
Busy, beer good, but the outside pizza thing is a fail, disorganised and took an age.
S. D.
This place is ok on a sunny Tuesday afternoon before the work lot get there. The beers are good. But the bar is too small for the venue. It's consistantly 6 deep here. So expect to join the back of the queue as soon as you have a beer , because it takes that long to get served. The pizza is ok. It's generally a bit meh.
M. D.
Nice place, but the music inside is so loud! You can't even have a conversation with your friends when you're there
S. H.
Easy going venue with good food and selection of beers and mixers.
V. S.
We organised an event at Waterlane Boathouse and we all loved it! Great food (everyone complimented the yummy pizzas) and lovely staff - always happy to help. The venue is lovely and definitely recommend for any of your corporate or personal events!
V. M.
Good food, friendly staff and nice spot. App ordering due to COVID lets it down as it is shockingly bad!
B. H.
Great out door and indoor spaces to suit everyone! Great atmosphere (especially in the sun) great choice to drinks and good food to boot! Fast service and friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
T. P.
Large garden with lots of tables but catches the morning sun well. We stopped here during a bike ride, it was early (11am) and we had a pleasant coffee but there were no snack choices and it was too early for lunch (probably won't affect many people)!
S. M.
Food good and quickly served however music so loud that you can barely order from staff let alone have a conversation at your table. No draught list which makes ordering take too long and you need to get toilet seats that fit the toilets.
R. N.
Good atmosphere throughout the week, quality food that's better than you'd expect for the price. Only downside is that the drinks are a bit more on the expensive side, but if you know that going in, you can't fault it
A.
Great, relaxing bar. So many tables, but always popular. Great quiz on a Monday, and you get free pizza per team!
M. A.
Fantastic place by the canal. Prices are fair and the outside seating space is lovely. Their pizzas are also very good.
K.
This was a pub in granary wharf in Leeds right near the canal .good choice of ales but only take card
A. A.
DELICIOUS food and FUN games. Sucked having to stand in line at the bar to order food and drinks for my entire table, but that's life I guess. Doubt I'll be back for that reason, but all else was good. If you don't mind waiting at the bar over 15 minutes to order food & drinks, by all means have at it.
L. K. (.
Lovely venue and food
F. B.
I had the courgette vegan pizza which was really good, and my partner had the sausage one which he thought was great too, really reasonable prices for the food, great atmosphere, lovely to sit by the canal, can imagine the atmosphere around this area will be wonderful when everything opens up as usual , would recommend this place
D. T.
Usually quite busy. Nice beers, but pricey. Large 'beer garden' which is usually pretty busy when the sun's out or after work...not a bad place though. I actually liked the cosy feel of the pour house (as was) with the intimate views of the canal. It's ok now, but trying too hard to be a sceeney place without the usp of other venues of similar principals
C. M.
Nice place, chilled atmosphere.
Staff could be a little bit more attentive though
L. D.
Like it here. Good selection of beer and food. Food only ok and prices are very dear over £6 per pint for Neck Oil.
M. H.
Food was really good. Service bit slow waited nearly an hour for food. Was very busy but friend ordered 5 minutes before me and got hers after 25 minutes.
E. R.
Nice setting on the canal. Good food, really nicely run during despite all the covid restrictions, one of the only place we felt comfortable going to these past few months
N. R.
A good bar with plenty of tables and large outside beer garden by the canal. Get busy on sunny days.
They make fresh fired pizzas which are good snacks.
J. S.
Lovely view of the canal. That we're often on a canal boat anyway diminishes the novelty of it. Love the design of the place, but the place is let down by what is on tap. Leeds is now well known for its craft beer, so if they're going to enter into being a place that's offer it, they need to step up. 2 pints set us back £11, so not cheap either. When Northern Monk is only ten minutes walk away it's not a hard choice to make. Doubt I'll go back again.
That being said, if you're not bothered by seeking out craft beer and don't mind the price, it's a nice place to go. I'm thinking the extra couple £ are to pay for the pretty spot.
B. B.
I love Water Lane Boathouse because of how dog friendly they are! Welcoming environment, great cheap food options, staff quick to serve and friendly. If you're looking for a place to relax with your pooch then this is the place! They even have a dog Instagram page called @Waterlanedoghouse which is great fun!
J. G.
Lovely setting outside at the side of the canal basin, it's very clean, they have a nice menu, and cater for kids, drinks reasonable, close to the dark arches where you can shop.
M. K.
What a great place to go in Leeds. Beautiful surroundings good selection on tap.
M. G.
Nice views, besides the beer is not so much to choose if you don't drink alcohol, we have sandwiches and they were very good, friendly staff and really nice terrace to enjoy the sun
T. L.
Can't go wrong. Definitely a place worth visiting. Dog friendly as well.
J. C.
Good atmosphere, good food, better if bar staff monitored customers arriving at bar so could serve in their turn as plenty people just push to front and get served first.
J. C.
Nice atmosphere, good selection of drinks, nice views. Very busy but still got served quickly
b. r.
The burgers are very nice to taste .. Watch out for 50% discount on some days on specific items.. Good for group dinner.. Enjoy lake view atmosphere..
B. C.
Converted boathouse as the name suggests. Large open plan space next to the canal, the free water taxi stops here from Leeds Dock. Good choice of beers and food. Decent helpings and friendly staff. Outside area too.
A. C.
It's a good trendy place to grab a few beers and a wood fired pizza. It's only 4 rather than 5 as its fairly expensive but you can sign up for local discount if you're employed in a business near by.
D. M.
Excellent range of gins and great beer garden next to the canal.
G. L.
Delicious fresh food. Some of the best chips Ive ever had
H. M.
Good beer and food. However, needs a draught list so you can see what's on when it's busy, otherwise it's nigh on impossible to order. (Maybe in the blank space on the wall under the "sourdough" neon sign).
G.
Staff could try a little bit harder behind the bar, maybe notice people waiting for a drink (in an empty bar) and smile occasionally?
L. D. C.
Sits on a riverside, 180 degree of river views, via large Windows. Rustic, spacious and seating outside for more river views. Food was very good and reasonably priced.
A. W.
Definitely for a younger crowd than I, but I cannot fault the atmosphere, food, service or the prices. It is centrally located and is based over two floors with ample seating. Recommended
M. B.
Good pizzas and beer selection. Food sometimes slow to come and had a few teething issues early on, but a solid bar now with a friendly and helpful bar team.
D. C.
Lovely location next to the canal. Food looked okay ish too.
R. B.
The boat house is a very unusual bar. Food and gents toilets upstairs. Bar and ladies toilets downstairs. A large beer garden. The bar is set into the River Aire.
M. D. H.
Fantastic pizza, great bar.
B. M.
Great pint and food. Quick service. Friendly staff
S. D.
Came for Monday night quiz, which was ok but a little erratic. Good food, nice layout and friendly atmosphere. Loved that is dog friendly!
Z. D.
Nice people working there, really good food and good local beer. I like the view at the water lane and menu for dogs as well 😊
A. V.
New take on a existing place. Well worth a visit, good beers and nice environment. Limited but quality food offering. Waterside location in a really historic building.
D. C.
2nd Visit, banging on both occasions. Beautiful location in the heart of Leeds, well worth a visit.
C. G.
Great pub. Nice place to sit out on a fine day. Beers dear but not a bad selection.
F. C.
excellent food, super atmosphere!
S. F.
Good service not all of the outdoor area has heaters so it's a bit cold
K. R.
Super outdoor space, friendly efficient staff and close to the train station. Nothing bad to say about the place.
J. D.
Nice food, nice place to sit and watch the river.
T. M.
Charming venue on the Leeds Canal. Great food, good drinks selection, and a DJ's every Saturday playing anything from jazz to disco. Highly recommend it!
J. G.
Absolutely brillient, difficult to get the app to work, butvthe bar staff were so happy to help, highly recommend will deffo go again..the food was 10/10
D. T.
Drinks OK but pricey. Food menu so uninspiring we didn't order. Good for a sunny day, but mediocre if not.
A. K.
Great food, friendly staff
G. V.
Very nice pub with outdoors seating.pizza was very nice but a bit small. It overlooks the canal and it's really close to leeds train station. I will go again
M. L.
Lunchtime visit, long wait for food, well over estimated time, had to ask for take out in end. Food reasonable price and tasted great even though had to take away.
D. H.
Great spot for lunch as the service is fast and the portions are generous. Situated next to the canal and easily accessible from surrounding offices. Definitely recommend.
E. R.
Have the Raspberry Sour cocktail pitcher it's amazing! So damn refreshing!
K. H.
Absolutely love this place its great if you wanna grab a beer and a pizza. Also has a DJ on weekends
V. M.
one of the best pizza you can have paired with a great selection of ales. nice environment and friendly service. highly recommended.
D. H.
Nice atmosphere, good food and dog friendly
C. B.
Favorite place in Leeds to go. Perfect blend of everything.. food, music, atmosphere and boardgames... and right by the canal. Couldn't recommend more
M. F.
To be honest I liked it more when it was "The Pour House". Now the stripped down, unfinished look of the interior ha made the place too impersonal. Also the plate I tasted wasn't on par with the previous menu.
K. J.
Beautiful wine and cocktails. Lovely view xx
L.
Very busy but great drinks, staff and location
S. C.
Beautiful location by the river, lots of interesting beers. We didn't eat but the food looked good and there was vegan pizza on the menu.
C. T.
Was amazing but my friends one promotion of chips took about an hour plus. Would not put me off going again though!!
P.
Trendy waterfront bar in the heart of Leeds near the popular Fazenda restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere, large tables ideal for groups or for just getting to know some new people and a variety of board games to keep you entertained whilst you sample your chosen tipple.
K. S.
Place to burger and enjoy spritz ✔️👍
L. G.
Service lacks urgency at busy times but there is a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. 50% off food in January too. I'll be back in the new year for some of that.
S. W.
Great spot by the water, expansive outdoor seating. Wide beer range and friendly staff. Everything you need!
I. T.
Decently priced food as well as drinks
b. 2.
Cool staff, love sitting outside next to the water, REAL pizzas done the napoletano way with reasonable pricing too
K. M.
Nice music. Good food. Overall its a good place
J. A.
5 stars in winter - great food offers, plenty of space, good pub quiz
3 stars in summer - crowded to capacity, staff can't cope, starts getting full of braying hooray henrys
W. L.
Good food and nice outdoors area for when it's sunny. Drinks are a bit pricy but otherwise a decent venue.
M. S.
Great place, lovely decor and atmosphere. The food and drinks are amazing and the staff are really friendly! Love it here!!
F. M.
Good drink offers
J. M.
Nice stylish interior. Good selection of local beers available. Friendly team. Great location.
P. R.
Well presented, decent clientele, deals on food, mixed selection of beers and good location. Recipe for a good bar!
G. R.
Always a great atmoshpere next to the canal and good choice of beers
C. C.
Great pizzas. Half price on Sundays. I guess the guy in the mighty ducks tattoo(?!) Can't be there all the time...
A. J.
Sat outside on a sunny day by the canal is wonderful. Superb drink selection and the food looked fantastic too if you want a bite to eat.
K. K.
Pizza was good as always
S. d. R.
Relaxed atmosphere, great location on the canal with watery view, reasonably priced wine, and great pizzas - half price on a Sunday night!
G. F.
Great pizza served here. Although the beers are a bit pricey. And lovely outside by the canal in the summer.
R.
Dog friendly. Right up my alley. Love a good pupper. Also £15 prosecco, how do you say no?!
M. W.
Long wait on food but I usually go when I'm not in a rush as it does taste good. Service for food/drink slow and alcohol very expensive, nice in the summer though
J. E.
Food was very quick to arrive and really good value, beautiful setting on the river and good ambience as well!
d. e.
Nice, expensive drinks but it is the middle of Leeds so expensive everything. Lovely outside area by the canal. Worth a visit.
D. S.
Great place! I love sitting next to the canal during sunny day!
D. J.
Great place with plenty of space for larger groups. Delicious food and good choice of drinks.
T. C.
Nice pub, very good selection of beers, cask and draft. Friendly staff and food was good.
J. Y. P. G.
Good choice of beer & lovley pizza
L. B.
Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten!!!
C. P.
Pizzas tasty but a bit soggy. Lovely place though would definitely go again
T. R.
Nice place for a summer beer garden drink. Fab ale selection and nice decor. Food looks amazing too. Only thing that let it down is slow staff and long queues.
I. H.
Can get busy on a nice day, outside bar is great if you want a larger or wine, but doesn't have much else
W. W.
Reasonable prices. The view is spectacular!! And the ambience is really nice. Try to go during off peak hours
j. s.
Great place but very annoying that so many tables had been reserved so not much room to sit and eat
J. J.
Great venue, great beer. If you like their other locations in town then be sure to give this place a try!
D. V.
Staff and food were brilliant. 5/5
Sadly the music was way too loud (and not even great music) 1/5
H. C.
Was blown away with the service here, such a friendly team. Great beer and food selection also!
H. S.
Great spot - not central, so a little bit quieter on the weekend, and kid friendly, dog friendly etc. Need to go back to try the food I think!
S. W.
Drink delivery to table took way too long. Food delivery was much better.
E.
Delicious food, nice place.

I. B.
Decent safety measures in place, app super easy to use, friendly staff. Great place to be outside in summer.
c. h.
Great location and the pizza was fantastic.
T. C.
Lovely atmosphere! Great food, delicious vegetarian burger! Friendly staff with great service
G. L.
Fabulous Chicken Burger, excellent Guinness, would have been 5 stars if not for the hike to the men's toilets.
E. R.
Great location, outdoor area great in good weather but VERY busy. Food is good too, recommend the halloumi burger
R. C.
Good scran, good bev. If you’re veggie get your chops round ere
L. L.
Lovely bar in a great location. Fab selection of drinks and board games too!
M. J.
Nice place, expensive and full of hipsters/ middle age people trying to be "cool".
Not bad for a pint near the river
M. F.
Good place at the canal. Good views. Food is served there. Nice choice of beers/ales.
T. D.
Arguably one of the best summer bars in Leeds. Beautiful outdoor location, with a great selection of beer and food.
S. S.
Quiet, quick service, atmosphere was a bit down though.
M. F.
Ideal location, good food and beer.
M. w.
Visited yesterday had lunch and drink. The food was delicious and the drink free. The location was fantastic next to the canal a few minutes walk from Leeds railway station.
M. H.
Possibly the best chicken burger I've had...!!!
Well done guys !!!👍
D. B.
Great place to go and chill and have a few drinks after work. Not always enough seats as it is so popular.
F. C. l. j.

D. A.
Great place to have a couple of drinks and half price pizza on Sunday & Monday.
m.
best chips i ever had. will go again
J. F.
Great place to sit and watch the world go by. Drinks aren't cheap but the location and views more than make up for that.
B. M.
Good selection of beers. Food is cheap and cheerful. Portions are large.
