D. S.Absolutely stunning experience at West End House!
It looked very busy, but Mark cleared a table for us within minutes, our food came out not long after ordering, and my partner and I were amazed at how hot, tasty, and well cooked the food all was - he even said the lamb shoulder was the best he'd ever tasted.
We were blown away by the whole experience in this unassuming little pub in Kirkstall, but will be telling all our friends and absolutely returning soon!
D. B.Tried a new meal on the menu. Mexican chicken strips in a Flatbread. Peppers bacon onions salad and chunky chips. It was amazing. Not for the faint hearted. I would recommend it to anyone.
G. R.Lovely local pub, food was freshly home cooking. Huge portions and really really tasty. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Jar of dog biscuits on the bar, so they welcome dogs too.
D. T.Popped in on the off-chance to get some food but we'd not booked, not only did they accommodate us but they produced the biggest plate of Sunday dinner I think I'd ever had. Would definitely come back again! Worth a visit.

K.I can't rate this place highly enough. Firstly the fact we could bring in my little puppy was fantastic. They were so accommodating and brought her a bowl of water and had dog biscuits available. Secondly the food (lamb Sunday lunch) was genuinely divine and the best I've had in a long time. Much better than places like Toby Carvery. I couldn't believe the quality for how quickly it arrived. And the service was fantastic everyone was so welcoming and polite. Not the first or last time we'll be going!

d. v. g.We went for a meal at the West End House last night,12/08/21. I can honestly say it is the best meal we have had in a long time. The portions are huuuuge! The veg was cooked perfectly. I had steak and ale pie, it was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff are lovely and the place is clean and lovely. We will be visiting again soon. Keep up the good work, you have a gem of a place.👍

The buffet food was freshly made and very tasty and by no means expensive. A fantastic day and the west end house made it. Thank you so much

Friendly pub atmosphere, busy but able to find a table without booking, though I see some people had reserved for later in the day. Dog biscuits on the bar, so I am presuming dog friendly. There was a telly with sports on by the bar, but this did not dominate the pub. I hope very much to return.

L. M.Visited the West End for a meal with my Dad on Sunday 26th August 2018 and yet again the food and service was excellent. My Dad had the chicken breast and I had the nut roast, both were on the Sunday dinner menu and there was several other options to choose from apart from the weekly menu which has a great choice. I seriously can't fault this place. The staff here are always friendly and polite. If you haven't been yet then you're missing out ! 😊
V. M.Welcoming atmosphere and very clean. Visited a few times but there only ever seems to be one ale available. Food is good but there are better offerings in other pubs close by. The weekend entertainment, quizzes etc are great though, definitely worth a visit.
G. A.We have been coming to the West End House for a couple of years mainly because of the staff being so friendly. The food is restaurant quality but with a good pub atmosphere. Their quiz nights on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are great fun and you can win beer prizes. Just recently they’ve started a Rock n Roll bingo which has a great fun and lively atmosphere!!!! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
K. M.I visited the West End for the first time today, my partner and I had a Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic, the portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All round great experience. They also show live sport which is an added bonus.

G. g.Visited again last night in a group of 4 for a meal. Has recently changed ownership, the staff and chef remained, the atmosphere is very friendly and the food is still excellent. Real home cooking with man sized portions and still very reasonably priced. Cumberland sausage comes highly recommended!

She worked so hard to make our experience enjoyable. She was so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much for her. She was very proactive. ... S. M.Very disappointed with my visit to West End House today. My partner and I bought our lunch and were just thinking about getting a desert when one of the barmaids came over and told us we had to move as she needed the table. She did not ask if we were finished or if we wanted anything else. Just after we moved she cleared two sets of knives and forks away from a different table opposite the bar, so the table we were moved from clearly wasn't needed. Needless to say we left straight away and will not be going back again.
