*PART OF THE OTLEY RUN* Was hectic when we arrived on Saturday afternoon, so we were only able to be in the outside area. The outside area is really cool, but limited drinks selection. Could do with more heaters and umbrellas! Loving that they have their Progress Pale - 20p of every pint sold goes to LGBT+ charity.

One of the first pubs on the “Otley run” on the weekends will be absolutely rammed. We waited around 20 minutes and didn’t even get to the front of the queue at the bar, unless your starting and early session I would avoid on weekends…

I attended Woodies Christmas market as a maker and had a great time! The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Also, making sure all the makers had hot drinks and checking everyone was warm enough. You could clearly see, that the staff put time and effort into the event.The overall experience was very Christmassy with the added bonus that it was snowing. I even tried some of their in house food. I went for the vegan burger and it did not disappoint!! Again, I can not praise the staff enough for their effort in making the day so memorable. * I have included a photo of my stall.

4pm and the place was packed with people enjoying themselves, full of laughter and people dressed in fancy dress, service was good considering the amount of people at the bar and the bar meals were of a good standard. Liked the little flower pots on each table, nice touch.

We went for the Xmas Market and the atmosphere was brilliant! The snow definitely added to the ambience. The foot long hot dogs were delicious as where the Xmas cocktails. The staff were friendly and helpful even when they were really busy

Visited Tuesday lunch for "Eat out to help out" This pub does not serve bog standard pub grub. Firstly the staff were fabulous, very helpful, attentive and friendly while adhering to social distancing and all that goes with it. Food was just as impressive, simple British food cooked to perfection and the pies are amazing a meal in itself without adding the veg and chips/mash. While the roast chicken was succulent and tasty. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great pub good food, Covid-19 friendly one way system in operation ( this does mean queing to access toilet facility, one person allowed in at once) so gentlemen depending on where you are in the pub may have to go outside and back around to the front again to use the toilet. Easily able to book table for two hours. Order drinks at the bar then they are brought to your table. 👍

Odd name but good beer. A really good selection of ales as well as bottle beers and a good gin selection. There is a good sized garden with some cover if the weather is inclement. Large screens for watching sports and a couple of fruit machines. Friendly chatty staff are the final cherry on top of a really good pub.

Great range of cask beers here. Gets busy when the rugby is on. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Whoever was responsible for the updated interior design needs sending away for compulsory retraining! There is a little bit of everything here - wood, metal, chains, books and more wood.

Nice decor, inside and a great selection of craft ales as well as spirits etc. too. They do have sports matches on the TV's when they're on, which isn't really distracting if you're not bothered about it (the crowd woodies attract isn't "sports bar" types). I knocked off 2 stars because they had the windows by the smokers porch wide open so all the smoke was coming into the pub which was very unpleasant and resulted in us leaving early.

Been here many times on Monday lunches after walking with a group. Its just straight in and four steaks please - 6.99. Absolute bargain and top top steaks and consistent quality. Choosing a drink is more difficult as there are so many on offer - at least 15 beers and 4 ciders on draught.

OUTSTANDING! A great starting pub for ALL ages on what's known as the Otley Road pub run. Great night life so ignore moaners whining about loud music or Stag/Hen party do's. Great for secret or naughty dates too!..

If your looking for a great boozer with unusual characters its a must go! Being the start of the infamous Otley Run you will see everything and anything from a bunch of butchers chasing a pig, every disney character, ghostbusters, every animal, to your favourite TV character. There Ale selection is top class and the Staff to match. A great place to go for a drink in the evening after work or on the weekend if you want to watch the football.
