Brilliant little pub - service was good, but not a wide range of drinks of tap. I didn't spot any draught cider on, so I opted for a lager instead. Lovely decor indoors. There was a sign outdoors saying no food was being served that day which would be disappointing if we wanted some but not a big deal. Would happily visit again.

After a lovely friendly welcome at the bar, we were shown to our table where another cheerful member of staff took our drinks order. The service was prompt and efficient and then she returned to take our food order. The meal was very tasty. All in all, a lovely lunch, just need to turn up the dining room thermostat a notch or two. We'll be back.

Our party of 4 guys chose the Bradgate Arms to meet up for a reunion after 40+ years, it turned out to be ideal. We were met with a friendly greeting and a smile by the staff, always a good start, the atmosphere was very relaxed and we never felt rushed or pressured at all even though we sat at our table for almost 5 hours. Prices are very reasonable with the bill for 4 meals and drinks coming to less than £50. So, all in all a very pleasant experience at a venue that turned out to be ideal for our purpose, thank you, I will be back.

Nice, cosy, welcoming pub with tasty food. Glad we stopped for a quick bite to eat after a nice walk with the dogs at Swithland Woods. Staff really friendly and with staff being dog lovers made the visit even more welcoming... Ended up staying 2 hours longer than intended. Such a nice , clean welcoming local pub . So close to the cropston reservoir you can almost hear the waters lapping up the wall on a windy day . Beautiful location . Bradgate Park a stones throw away surrounded by woods .(switherland or bluebell wood 10 min walk . The bradgate Arms serves specialist brew and local ales , a must for those who appreciate a good pint . Delicious food is available at reasonable prices . Pop in whilst strolling by .you won't be disappointed.

Love this pub inside and out, the decor is tasteful and the garden is fantastic, with a children's play area tucked away. They keep their beer really well, the menu caters for practically everybody from meat lovers to gluten free vegans and everything weve ordered on our regular visits has reasonably priced. To top it off the staff are super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Just a cracking country pub.

Great tasting food. It might be pub-chain food but there’s no mushy onion rings and buns here. We enjoyed the chicken and chorizo pinwheel burgers and highly recommend the crispy, battered halloumi fries. Two of us ate and drank for £25 and were stuffed! Quite a few vegan options if you’re so inclined. Weekday afternoon it was not busy at all. The place looks newly refreshed with modern-country style and has a very smart looking outdoor area with play area for children and being all fairy-lighted it looks like a nice place for an evening drink too.

There was supposed to be a "Special" menu according to your Internet web page. Other things advertised online as your "Offers" where not advertised in the dining area, such as deserts for £2 on Mondays, Curry Night on Wednesdays and Grill night on Thursdays, although the latter was well advertised on the advertisement board ouside.

Had a great experience 19.01.18 as new dog owners we were happy to find a dog friendly pub in winter. Rang ahead to check and a staff member was friendly and informative about areas within the pub where we could eat with a dog (obviously the main dining area does not accept dogs which is understandable) and she confirmed fresh water bowls are laid out for dogs. We had a very warm welcome on a Friday lunchtime. Locals were drinking and chatting at the bar. We had a choice of the snug or a bar area in which to eat with our greyhound. Pub was warm, comfortable, welcoming and management and staff super friendly. We had a lovely lunch and the two for one meal deal with good sized portions made it great value (check their website out). Sure enough a bowl of fresh water was close by for our dog. We were treated like any other diners regardless of having a dog with us. Very impressed with the service from the relatively new management and their staff. Found our new choice of pub for meals out now we have the pooch. Thanks to the team for a memorable lunchtime visit. Keep up the great service!

This is our local... I do love this pub but its always changing managers hence the food can be hit and miss.. It has nice people in at the moment and seems fresh and clean again! We had a Sunday dinner this time it was lovely with unlimited potatoes and veg but the beef is really chewy. This is because Marstons buy in the meats and the managers/chef have to make the best of a bad cut! There was another table that left upset and it was quite uncomfortable watching the very young staff (who are very friendly) have to deal with it.

Stopped at the Bradgate Arms after a great day at Bradgate Park. Lovely meal in a good old English country pub. Great selection on the menu. Haven't eaten here so can't vouch for the food but the drinks are fairly priced and has a brilliant garden to sit out in. Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere to stop of at while walking around the area or passing through.
