Toilets downstairs, not good if you have mobility issues or high heels. Fab decor and large beer garden.

The crowd are a bit older, usually friendly and it’s easy to strike up conversation with people.
Seating is comfortable and the music is good, and not loud enough so as you can’t chat.
Drinks are well priced, door staff are friendly, and the arty interior is fans.

J. K.So originally i posted 5 star review in 2018.. because i loved the place.. unfortunately it changed (guess with new owners?).. Yes it got spruced up, but the quality of the place deteriorated... cocktails recipies changed massively, they are now awful, artificial tasting and sickly sweet, not the decent classics they used to be! Music now too loud most of the time for conversation and different calibre.
j. t.This was my first visit to Leicester and when I went inside I found an amazing domed ceiling. The barman was Mitch and he made us feel very welcome. We were given sufficient time to order our food and the service was good. I had a fish finger sandwich and it was excellent and then chose a cocktail which was also good. I liked the friendly atmosphere, the food and the service - and thanks Mitch for the help you gave me that day. If I'm in Leicester again I will definitely go there.
C. H.Really good place to go in summer. Nice big beer garden. One of Leicester's lesser known gems, particularly good later on in the evening. Decent selection of drinks and always a good atmosphere.

One area of improvement - the downstairs area of the bar could do with a refurb
S. B.Really nice bar, fantastic outdoor space shared with Apres Bar makes for a great stop on a night out. Shame that they have a fairly odd and outdated footwear policy- it doesn't really match up with the younger student/professional atmosphere within. Shame as it would probably be alot more popular if they modernised and relaxed this.

S. v. B.This place is fantastic, the drinks are a little more than what you would pay but the friendly service and the quality of the products is brilliant! A lovely selection of belgian beers and drinks to wash down that big pan of muscles!
I highly recommend this charming little café, definitely worth a visit. Just sit have a glass of kriek and admire the fantastically decorated ceiling.
