Amazing pub. The manager recommended we visit his pub when we met him at yoga class. When we went we wasn’t disappointed. Food top notch. And they even do gluten free beer witch is good.

Food was alright, but after trying to navigate the menu and becoming a bit stressed, we had to ask the bar for more info about their options for someone with food restrictions.. They shrugged and pulled out a giant yellow binder..which was impossible for me to navigate. We just gave up and ordered a steak, it was a decent steak. It is a sports pub afterall. But I wouldn't recommend eating here if you have any food allergies, or dietary restrictions. My options were super limited, everything was breaded or had cheese...

Nice bar setting, plenty of TV to watch sports on but was quite packed all day. Close to other amenities and not far from both the King power stadium and 02 academy in Leicester.

Great place to get a pint and pub food! This is my friend's go-to place to watch his Football game and cheering for Arsenal F.C. We been regulars here that the staff recognized us! My favourite menu item and usual for me was the Serf and Turf Cluck burger which had beef patty, fried chicken and shrimp with fries/chips. It was my usual meal until they got rid of it that I had to custom make it. The chicken tenders with jerk sauce (I hope that is correct as it has been two years since I been to this place). Lots of usual drinks. The staff are amazing and will create drinks on request and based on North America like one of my friends asked them to make Alien Brain Hemorrhage shot. One day I will return to Counting House and order my usual item!

Such a friendly environment and very COVID friendly! Me and my partner ordered the garlic mushroom bucket and the chicken wing bucket and they were really good. You could tell the food had been cooked to a great standard! We had the chef Dani cook our food and we enjoyed it so much. 10/10 would recommend.

Went to pub during busy Liverpool and Leicester game. Met the new landlord who was a stern gentelman. He had his troops in tow. I was speaking to him and he mentioned he recently shaved his head for local cat charity and he’s planning to do it again soon to the closest.

Always friendly, helpful staff. Covid-19 track and trace well explained and rules for pub highlighted to us re social distancing and sanitising in a polite and easy to understand way. The food, Hunters Chicken Toastie with green side salad and side of seasoned fries was delicious, well cooked and hot off the grill to our table. Drinks ordered at the bar were delivered to our table, due to covid-19 rules, quite quickly as it was busy in there. Would definitely recommend this pub which also has a nice atmosphere and is nicely furnished and decorated with plenty of nearby parking with several disabled bays.

Can't fault this place for a lively sports bar type restaurant. Big screens all round the main bar room, but even so it's a pleasant enough atmosphere. Food servings are huge and the Meat and Eat Burger has to be seen to be believed. Central bar has all the usual drinks and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Recommended if you're looking for good pub grub.

Not a nice eating place as the menu is worse than.local heroes and not any vegetarian food on there except fish. Not impressed with the fish as I nearly choked on it because of fish bones.

Apart from match days, The Counting House is never too busy. Has it's own car park, but if that's full you can use the larger Mecca Bingo one. Enter your car reg at the bar. Good for watching sport with a number of tv screens. The inexpensive menu has a good choice with the food always well cooked. The staff are always very friendly.

A great place to watch sports, but make sure you get your food order in as soon as you can otherwise you could be waiting a while (60-90 minutes) when it's busy. Just make sure you plan, and don't leave it to the last minute like some customers do.

This is a great little pub. A good place to eat, drink, play pool and watch football. Pay attention to the parking around here though. There's a machine by the bar if you park in the Mecca Bingo zone;)

Lovely plate of chicken strips. It was unfortunate that the place had temporarily run out of vanilla ice cream for my friend's dessert, but this was compensated for by a free alternative dessert. That's good customer service.

Great place and great staff..... one staff member who needs a shout out is Reese..... he is very friendly and always remembers your name and your drink..... he makes it a point to come up to you and shake your hand and say hi..... he should be a manager by now..... great service..... food is good as well..... just need more parking now.... well done Reese.
