An amazing Independent Irish bar which is so much more than a pub. It is a community hub where people come together and make lifelong friends. Fab range of live music, great prices beer and by far the best Guinness in town ☘️🇮🇪 Slainte!

What a great drinkery! Central location, friendly staff, a really warm and authentic atmosphere, lovely beer and some really great bands playing in a well-equipped live gig room with its own bar. No beer garden as such, but there is a little smoking yard contained internally within the walls of the building, something like a quad in amongst school or office buildings, which is a cool feature; but it's really the building itself, the decor, the staff, the attendees and the bands that play that make this place what it is. The Duffy's Bar Orchestra are the resident band, playing a soulful selection of charming folky tunes. Having been here, it will probably now remain first choice for a quick pint or even a few beverages accompanied by music and banter. Especially in a town where lots of modern bars come and go, this traditional pub is to be cherished for the true gem that it is. Highly recommended!

Recently went to get a pint Guinness there with one of my Irish buddies. Small but manageable bar setting and sitting area. Small smoking section in the back with murals on the walls great for taking a few snaps. Pretty chill little pub I would recommend it.

We went to see some music on a Saturday night and although it was very busy being served was no problem. The band's were great as was the sound however the state of the gents toilet was awful. No toilet paper in either cubicle and 1 door had no lock, hopefully not like this every time
