S.I’ve not had fish & chips for a while, but this was the best by far! The fish was cooked perfectly. Fresh mushy peas, curry & fish sauce were provided.
Superb customer service! Very calm location! Every staff member in this Pub/Restaurant has the highest quality of service.

D.First time going in years, it's a lovely place, it's lost a star only because the staff was rushing around and just made you feel like you had to eat and go even though only a handful of tables was taken. Hot food was passed over the top of a child posing a burn risk, our side order wasn't brought out until 5/7 minutes after the meal was served.

T. H. T. G. C.Had a good evening meeting up with family recently (10 of us). Nice place, not very busy for a Saturday and not many staff working. We didn't have anyone collect empty glasses from our table all evening despite it not being very busy. It won't stop me returning again to see what it's like next time, however having to place your own empties on the bar all night to declutter the table takes the shine off things a bit.

Place was busy but service was good food was good and even.though we have to travel we will visit again.

Definitely NOT for the balding gentleman on Sunday service. Arrogant and very rude man.
From Monday to Saturday, the chef makes dishes very quickly and large portions. There is probably another cook on Sunday because I waited over half an hour for breakfast. There were only a few people in the place. Some of you came a few minutes after me and they got breakfast faster than I did. There was a family ahead of me and they were still waiting for their breakfast.

S. B.A great little pub run by Greene King right by the Leicester Central A50 Premier Inn. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices and a small but good menu with some favourites such as fish and chips and curry, but also burgers, chicken etc. I had an issue with my food, but the staff were excellent and bent over backwards to try and sort it, and for that you can’t ask for better service.

T. C.Great welcome. Front of house staff member was welcoming showed us to our table and asked if we wanted to order a drink to which we did. Food was fairly tasty. Staff on the other hand not so. Everyone bar the person that greeted us had faces like they didn't want to be there. A smile goes a long way and my partner and only got a smile from the welcome host. Very nice environment, wasn't to busy for a Sunday. Would possibly come again, but would like to hope the staff would be smiling on the next visit.

Refurb looks good but seems like they are understaffed. Would return, but not in a hurry

We all had the Triple-Chocolate Brownie Desert and it was also greatly presented and was extremely tasty. ifnyou are around this area i recommend going in for a meal for it is a fantastic bar/Restaurant.

J. H.Heathley Park was refurbished about a year ago and the menu has recently changed which has vastly improved both the quality of the food and service as both were quite poor before these changes. Staff seem much happier to be there and the food has improved a lot too. Free parking always helps and the bar has a good choice of drinks available. I'd recommend the Sunday roast, good portion of food for under £12. And get 20% off if you have a Blue Light NHS card.

The Sunday lunch was superb we all had the lamb shanks plenty of veg etc on the plates
I would recommend this pub well worth a visit looking at the rest of the menu it is very good food at a reasonable price

Y. N.Staff helpful and very friendly, had a lunch here one day and breakfast the next. The tables and chairs could do with a really good clean though, if it was not for this would have been perfect. Lunch was served promptly after I placed the order at the bar, as cooked perfectly. Had the Unlimited Cooked Breakfast (Vegetarian Options), which included the continental, nice variety of foods which is ample and again service was very fast. Note: They need to change their pitchers they use for milk and juice, watched as many a person spilled them.

Sadly the dog couldn't go in but sitting outside wasn't an issue on this very sunny day. Unfortunately the tables didn't have umbrellas so shade was a small issue however we don't realise there is a separate garden at the back where shade would have been plentifully. We look forward to going back.

Kids eat free so was quite good value (£9.50 for adults) There was a long table full of continental breakfast items which was kept topped up. Table service for the cooked breakfast which was well cooked and tasty. Friendly staff and a clean environment all added to the enjoymeof a leisurely Sunday breakfast. Thanks so much - if we needed to stay in the area again we would be very happy to visit again!
E. P.Been here a few times now. Service is good, but if you order anything with batter (fish, fried chicken) it always seems to be dry. Lighting is a bit dark, depending on where you sit and I can't understand why there are parking meters?🤔 You can get the money but it's not close to the city centre.
You kinda get what you pay for here so can't complain, if this place had a make over I think it would be a lot nicer.
U.Not a single problem with food or drinks, and social distancing and mask wearing from everyone that works here is impeccable, some tables are closed off for perfect social distancing between tables. Very happy, will definitely go back again soon.

With regards to the food - very nice but very small portions. Not to the Michelin standards you would expect with someone saying ‘small portions’. My Mac and cheese was extremely small in size and depth - left me feeling it was a starter but paying full price. Same with the scampi which only included 8 child sized pieces.
Great and friendly staff though - feels like a business very much dedicated to reducing cost as much as they can whilst keeping the prices as high as they dare.

I. H.Large pub aimed at families for drinks and dining, for general use but also for the local Premier Inn patrons. Plenty of selection of drinks and food dishes. Can get a little crowded but is very spacious inside. Our orders came relatively quickly and we all enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was expensive, £9 for a full English but the quality and taste at least made up for that.

A. G.This restaurant servers the plumpest, juiciest and eye wateringly beautiful ribeye I've had for years. We ordered two rib-eyes medium rare and they were both cooked to absolute perfection. The steaks are accompanied by a huge mound of watercress, some perfectly cooked and tasty vine tomatoes and breaded mushrooms but not the breaded mushrooms you would expect, oh no, these were large flat mushroom, sliced into nice sized chunks and covered in a good solid casing of breadcrumbs. The mushrooms were also meaty and not all wet and mushy as could have so easily been the case if the chefs in this kitchen weren't so capable. Chips were a good size and perfectly cooked. We opted for some additional toppings; Jack Daniels burnt ends and a seafood topping. The burnt ends were actually really juicy and flavoursome (wished I'd actually asked for them on the side as they come on the steak but that was my bad and something I'm sure they would do should you ask). The seafood topping was excellent, with crispy non-chewy squid and firm succulent prawns. We also had a béarnaise sauce and a peppercorn sauce. The béarnaise was magnificent and went perfectly with the steak, fortunately strong enough to overpower the Jack Daniels sauce on the steak (again, my bad). The peppercorn sauce was strong and rich. The kids went for the build your own pasta dish with chicken and a double cheeseburger. The pasta was a fun plate of separate dishes. Nicely cooked bare penne pasta, a jug of fresh tasting tomato sauce, pot of grated cheese, a pot of nice green plump peas <cheesy peas>, garlic bread and some juicy freshly grilled chicken breast which was super tasty. The cheeseburger was a nice size and we opted for the veg sticks of peppers, cucumber and carrots. Our only negative experience with this meal was the carrot sticks which must have been prepared in advance and as a result were somewhat dried out and lacking in flavour. We had a bottle of the Campo Rioja which is a decent quality red for £14. We were served by CAITLIN who went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of. We decided not to stay for pudding so she really kindly wrapped up two pieces of their fantastic chocolate brownies for the kids to take back to the hotel. All in all, this is a great restaurant with attentive staff and a kitchen full of chefs who not only know what they are doing, but are working with excellent quality products and have pride in what they send over the pass. I am kicking myself for not taking any photos to share, but it looked so mouth wateringly edible when it arrived, we just tucked in. Well done Green King and CAITLIN, you've surpassed our expectations and rivalled some much bigger names in the steak business. We will definitely be returning here if we are in the area again.
