We had a lovely visit! Food portions were a good size, food was hot and very tasty. I had the fish and chips whilst my husband had the steak and ale pie. All staff were very friendly and happy to assist us with whatever was needed. Would definitely visit again.

Visited this establishment today for the rugby game, I was really impressed by Ben the manager. He was moving around so fast if you blinked you would miss him, serving multiple customers, carrying 6 plates at a time all despite having what looked like a wooden leg. Talk about service.

Really nice & friendly establishment, food is good, as you would expect from a chain pub. Wasn't too busy, staff were great, been here many times, not had a bad experience. There is plenty of seating, including an area outside, which is I front of a very large carpark. Car parking is free but you need to be a customer and enter car registration into the system.

The excitement felt knowing I'm coming here is electric. I come here on matchdays and the odd non match day. The level of customer service is so high, whatever day or how rammed they are. I have never walked into a pub and felt like it's home. The atmosphere is amazing and has gotten even better over the years. The dj and outside bar on match days is phenomenal It just brings everyone together. The food is always cooked to perfection, whatever you ask for its always hot and sizzling. it's absolutely delicious.

Nice large pub not far from the King power stadium or 02 academy in Leicester. We had some food which was nice, prices are pretty standard although coming from a town and paying £6 for one peroni was a tad much!

Lovely food. So hot that it comes out on a sizzling skillit. Steak is actually cooked to Goe you ask rather than a lot of places that get it wrong. Full complements to the chef. Also the staff manage to deal fastly with large qeues efficiently and calmly. Nice atmosphere.

Regular Friday lunch time visit. Staff are fabulous & always go the extra mile. Last week they had run out of strawberries for the Eaton mess so the manager went out to buy some - don’t know anywhere else that would do that just to please a customer!!! Good food, excellent staff (Maxine is the best), it’s always clean & tidy. 😃

Extremely disappointing, been here a few times and had a good experience but last night the service was terrible staff were rude. Half of the starters came out and 20 minutes later the next two came out, then the mains came out wrong and no vanilla ice cream for dessert but wasn’t told until after ordering and paying. We had a great experience here. Because we had booked we did not have to provide covid details. The service was excellent and the food was great. My wife had one complaint, the meals have become smaller. 5oz steaks have become 4oz, chicken has become 1 fillet and scampi has reduced from 5 to 4.

Very nice place to come around with mates for a pint or pool game, or for some food. The food is very nice and the few times that I've tried it there was never anything wrong with it. Nice menu and meal delivery to the table in reasonable time. Staff are cool as well. You can certainly feel a personal touch if you pull them in for a brief chat. Some tables are a good distance away from each other so you don't feel cramped in with other people. The toilet needs refurbishment but that's on the margine note.

After great visit to The King Power Stadium I had a hunger the size of Filbert. John the tour guide recommended this spot. It isn't a fancy spot so it's perfect for the family. The people who took my order and brought the food were very nice and accommodating.

The place is so popular but as always service is poor due to the fact that they just don't have enough staff. Manager very friendly and does his best in often trying circumstances. Despite large menu, I struggle to find something to eat. Too many sauces, coleslaw etc. This time my wine ran out. Disaster

This place is up and down. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes its terrible. I've eaten here many times and the place is ok overall. The food is priced around majority of the pub and grill places i've been to but there are far batter ones out there. Staff again are up and down, you get your super helpful ones and ones who could care less. Average at best so an average review, lots of room for improvement.

We have visited this restaurant 3 times, On the last two occasions my wife and myself visited this restaurant, when ordering the meal, we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. We decided to leave and went to another well known chain restaurant in Leicester where we were served within 10 minutes and finished our meal in 45 minutes including parking the car (free after 6 pm, by the way). Because this has happened twice, there will not be a third time. We will not be using the Local Hero again. On neither of the two occasions was the restaurant particularly busy. From previous experience, the food is mediocre at best so it is not a problem going elsewhere.

Best pub for pre-match when Leicester City play. Full of like-minded football fans, easy to get served, kind and hard working bar staff and good security on the door. Even at the busiest of times food is served in good time and at a very reasonable price. I have also tried this pub on a non-match day and I would like to say that the good service is consistent to all times of visiting. There are vast amounts of parking spaces outside with numerous disabled bays. Parking is also subsided for those spending money while at the pub/restaurant.

This pub is a must visit for any Leicester city football fan on the way to the match, have a meal, a drink or just want to join in with the pre match atmosphere. On non match days it's very close to the odeon cinema, so a good place to eat before ( or after ) you watch a film

It's a good Watering Hole if you're going to see Leicester Tigers or Leicester City Football Club parking is free if you use the pub or other facilities 5 minutes walk to the tigers and City Ground it's a bit expensive but you're paying for the convenience.
