Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent beers, particularly from their own brewery. Highly recommended.

Most of the food didn't survive long enough to be photographed! We visited as an alternative to generic motorway services for only a 10 minute detour from the M1. The food and coffee was both delicious and delightful, and a great selection of beers, wines and spirits for those not driving! Relaxed and unpretentious, the whole experience was delightful. We will be back on future trips North!

Good service, really good knowledge of their beers, happy to advise if you're unsure or new to craft beers. They do take outs too in cartons. The porkpies are massive and amazing too. They also put on mini events so follow them on Facebook for updates.

Great atmosphere and a great selection of Real Ales which change almost every visit giving something new to try everytime. All the staff are a great laugh and give top customer service. Also host a good number of events which I'm sure will start to pick up more frequently with the covid measures calming down! Oh and also the best pork pies I've ever had 😍

A hidden gem with one of the best selections of beer in Leicestershire. The bar provides a plethora of sumptuous beers. If required, the effervescent, friendly and knowledgeable staff can give you some assistance to indulge your pallet. Lovely place with great selection of ales. My partner was shocked that they have a gluten-free draft lager on tap! As he is coeliac he misses a nice draft pint of lager so this was a great surprise to see! Really nice place to sit and have a drink and we will be back soon!

This is a fantastic place to visit whether you are a cask or keg fan, a fan of quality gin or indeed coffee and cake. Jay is a consummate professional and an incredible host. If like me you live a little way away and don't want to drive there are some great cycle routes and the small courtyard at the back is idea for cyclists. Go, you will not be disappointed (I almost forgot the very special pork pie!) Enjoy!

My wife and I visited for the first time last Thursday and after 12 years of being hosts ourselves we were very impressed with the managements knowledge and enthusiasm with this venture. Best place for a beer in Leicestershire as far as I'm concerned. Incredible beers (and coffee) and ran by Jay who is knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and a conversational. Forget your local and make a journey if you have to. You won't be disappointed!

First visit. A really warm welcome! Only had a coffee and cake however the best coffee and bakewell slice I have had in a long time! Will certainly be back to try the ale at this micro pub at some point too.

This is a cracking little micro pub. I have been a few times now and there is always an interesting choice of beers and ciders straight from the cask. There is an equally good choice of small batch craft gins including a fantastic Raspberry by Belgin; it is very natural and not like a lot of the other sweet fruit gins about at the moment. There is plenty of seating available and a nice little outdoor area. Jay is a really friendly host; knowledgeable about his products and even sorted me out with a taxi home. Will certainly be using this place more regularly.

Nice and cosy, friendly staff, great food choices stitch as giant scotch eggs in different flavours, sausage rolls etc. The main bonus is their choices of micro brewery ales, lagers and ciders. Worth a visit if in the area and especially at a lunchtime if you work at NEXT head office.

Great pub. Great atmosphere. The people in there also had the crack and the banter to hold the conversation. it was brill. This wasnt even my favorite part. The staff member that goes by the name 'joe' was smashing. shaggied this bird in the toilet tho. 5 out of 5 would deffo cuminher again; )
