Have alway had a lovely time at the plough, they keep a cracking cellar, the food is always tasty and well cooked and the staff are friendly and professional. If pushed for a negative, the only thing we can think off is it's just that little bit too far for us to walk too. 😉

Amazing place very friendly staff. Got talking to the bar man's dad, fellow Man Utd supporter sorry to have to leave, the beer was brilliant but that was expected with it being Theakstones. It's sometimes hard to compliment a place outside God's own County of Yorkshire but I will here deffo going back. Thank you Plough Inn

Had a great Sunday lunch outdoors today, really thick tasty homemade mushroom soup and veg Wellington roast. 2 courses are 16.95 on the Sunday menu, also have 2 other veggie options, veg lasagne and risotto too. Good service and yorkshires and roasties were great too :)

First-rate traditional local pub. Jonny and Lisa have really turned this pub round after a series of so-so landlords and even more so-so clients! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, the food is good, the beer is kept very well, and the room layout allows the sports fans to watch the live sports without forcing other drinkers and diners to watch it as well. The best of both worlds. My wife and I have started making this a regular Saturday lunch spot, and as long as it stays like this we will continue to do so.

Recently taken over this pub has a warm and homely atmosphere and serves good ales. We stopped for a meal which was delicious and well cooked. The service both at the bar and in the restaurant was of a very high standard. We will certainly return.

Not as posh as the Bull's Head next door, but the food and beer prices reflect this. Friendly staff, good food, well kept real ales and very good value for money. There is a large petanque piste at the rear. The tricky slope makes it a challenge to play on. A regular group play most Thursdays (11am to 1pm) - weather permitting - new players welcome.

Fantastic Ale in a great setting. Good selection of drinks and food, Marston quality you would expect and then some. Great 'local' supporting teams clubs and people of the village. Large car park openong up to the local countryside via The Burroughs. Worthy stop off or destination for anyone in the area, say hey to Jonny & Lisa and I'm sure you'll be back in no time.
