Superb place to eat, lovely pub / restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating options. Menu has traditional pub style food whilst catering for all / any dietary requirements. Food itself was delivered quickly, and was great quality. Finally the staff are great, catering for our two mixed families in a very friendly, welcoming manner. Highly recommend this as a place to eat or drink.

We hired a boat and moored up by the nearby Bridge which was about a 10 minute walk up the hill. Service was excellent. Nice selection of Gins. Wonderful view in the beer garden. The food was also excellent with generous portion sizes. Would recommend..

Great service on a busy day for them, which is good to see. I came here with a group of 14 for a Sunday Roast, which you can imagine would be tough for the waiters and kitchen staff. But they handled us well! They told us well in advance when we made our booking of the time restrictions for the table. And during our meal, they kept us informed of how long we had. I know some people could have an issue with this - but it was our fault it took so long to order, so no issues with them keeping us informed. The pub is situated in a nice village and has ample parking around the back of the pub, with nice views as well. The seating inside was a little cramped, but not bad enough to ruin the meal. The food was really nice and heard everyone on the table saying they enjoyed their starters and mains. Their roast portions are big - so be mindful of that if you decide to do a 3 course meal like we did. I also appreciated that they were acomodate a request for chocolate custard with my dessert (it's been a long time since having it, and had a craving for it). They happily obliged - it's just a shame I was too stuffed to finish it. All in all, would recommend for a Sunday roast as part of a big group - and I'm sure I'll get the same welcoming experience next time I visit in a smaller group.

This pub has a fantastic garden with play equipment. Perfect for a sunny day with the family if you want a drink. The food here is of great quality and the pub itself is decorated with taste. You'll find no grime or sticky tables here. The service is wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic! Great gluten free selection. Great vegetarian selection. Nothing was too much trouble for these amazing staff. Just let them know in advance of any special dietary requirements. They don't scrimp on the portions or flavour. Highly recommended.

A very nice meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The selection of food available on the menu was varied and a decent choice. The food we had was all very well prepared and we'll presented. The ingredients seemed of a high quality and they were well cooked. This place has the added benefit of amazing views to the rear of the pub. Although we didn't use the garden at the back I can imagine on a summers day with a cold pint it would be a very relaxing location.

Visited on Thursday. We’ve been a few times before. Food is always good. Service slower this time which is understandable post-COVID. The biggest problem as always is the flies particularly at the bottom end of the conservatory/extension. It was very annoying having to continually swat them away and not relaxing at all. Surely this continual problem could be resolved as it spoils an otherwise good experience.

I came for an evening meal with the family and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the portions larger than expected and service with a simile. Only criticism was that food doesn't need to always be presented on a board a plate will suffice. Go and visit if you're hungry and you will be pleased.

Lovely restaurant with great views. Great 3 course Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. I had thai fish cakes with a chilli salsa, roast turkey Sunday lunch and cheesecake to finish. All delicious. A bottle of pinot grigio was terrific and at a reasonable price. Service was excellent and friendly. Good food, Good service. Rip off prices for soft drinks. 3.50 for pint of bitter, 3.80 for pint of Lemonade and Pepsi, extra cost blamed on sugar tax but that is only just over 0.12 per pint and beer is heavily taxed as well. Never mind the staff got a much smaller tip.

Queens Head Saddington, very nice pub,I have visited this place several times for a meal, always pretty good, however on this occasion it tended to drag on longer than I expected, nothing wrong with the meal though,and wouldn't put me going again,staff were very good and helpful,and the garden is a delight on a sunny afternoon with splendid views over saddington reservoir.
