Great pub with a good selection of beer and wine. Food is excellent with big portions on the usual suspects and tasty pizzas from a wood fired oven. There's loads of parking and a good sized garden with a kids play area

Really nice setting, lots of outdoor seating. Very accommodating for us and our dogs - she was even given a biscuit by a member of staff! Pizzas were lovely, all seemed homemade. We will definitely visit again!

First time at the bradgate. Really enjoyed the food. Came within 15 minutes of ordering. Staff are really polite and welcoming. Portion sizes are great. Only thing I'd recommend is updating the seats, they are super uncomfortable.

Went here after seeing the review online. Was not disappointed. Took 2 boys (4 and 7) who had fun on the slightly worn out play area. Nephew complained that the only downside was no slide! Kids had fish fingers for dinner. Adults all had the rump steak. Food was quick and hot. Fantastic steak, cooked perfectly. Chips were chunky, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Very generous portion sizes on kids meals and adults. Beer garden has alot of seating, some of it a little worn but the interior is beautiful and very country! I don't usually leave reviews but I was so impressed with the food here - I'd happily go back again tomorrow!

Second time visiting The Bragate, always a really nice roast dinner. Huge Yorkshire puddings. Nice selection of vegetables and good portion of meat. Very reasonable price too and can choose between 1,2 and 3 courses depending on how hungry you are. Would definitely recommend. We arrived later in the day on a Sunday but would recommend to book if you desperately want a table as is very popular as close to Bradgate Park

Staff were very polite and friendly even though they were really busy when we arrived, A group of ten of us turned up without a booking and they couldn't have been anymore helpful. I had the roast pork and stuffing dinner and it was great value considering how large the portion was. None of the 10 people I was with had any complaints or problems.

Today I am at a pub next to the lovely Bradgate Country Park. Situated in a small village called Newtown Limford on the outskirts of Leicester, its a nice quaint little place to be. The entire pub has a one way system throughout including the toilets. As it was too hot outside, I chose to sit inside the snug. I was greeted promptly arriving and given a free choice of tables. I opted for the 3 course fixed price menu coming in at £17.75. This is on the dearer side given the location of the pub. Starter: Garlic Mushrooms Mushrooms are my absolute favorite. This was a fair portion with some nice bread to go with it. Main: 8oz Classic Burger Presented on a Brioche Bun that was lightly toasted with skinny fries, the meat patty was tender and well cooked throughout. Accompanied with cheese for good measure. Dessert: Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream Rich texture to the ice cream. Brownie served warm. Classic combination which you can't go wrong with! Overall I had nothing really to complain about this visit and as such I would recommend it 10/10 😇😊

Great place to eat. The pub was laid out well, with a system in place for the current pandemic. The staff were friendly and helpful, even after we arrived late and it was no bother fitting us in. The food tasted great and was good value for money. All the dishes looked good, but the pizzas in general are on another level; The Lady Jane being my personal favorite. A good selection of drink to choose from as well; both soft and alcoholic. The pale ale is nice and they have some tasty spirits if you like a mixture. A good choice of afters also, we were not disappointed with them. The chocolate brownie I had cold, which melted in my mouth when I ate it. We will definitely be coming back here again in the future.

Nice beers and excellent large beer garden. It has a large car park behind the pub. Offers a good menu with large section of dishes at reasonable prices. They have an open plan stone-baked pizza oven and serve a freshly prepared pizza menu. Ideally located near to Bradgate Park.

Visited this pub for the first time in about 8 years. We went as a family party of 7 and had a lovely meal, fresh pizzas with side orders, my Granddaughter had a burger and we were all really happy with our food. Excellant service that went beyond what one would expect. Met at 17.00hrs aware only pizza and sides available and politely advised of this on arrival..normal menu available 18.00hs onwards. What we didn't realise was on a Monday had been closing at 18.00hrs. I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in 2years and so bradgate remained open until 19.00hrs for us. So kind . Pizza menu good...light base only bit very tasty and large..sweet potato fries exquisite. Choice of wine and beer good. Thank you Brad gate team.

Sadly the beers are Everards, and they didn't have Old Original on. ...But that's personal taste. I'd definitely go back.

Went to The Bradgate for Sunday lunch, and it was one of the nicest meals out I have had whilst we have been in Covid restrictions. The food was excellent and the staff so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they operated a one way system. The food was really nice but I found the staff to be a little rude and dismissive. The hostess in particular seemed to find it really inconvenient that we had reservations and wanted to eat food...at a restaurant... It might have been a rough evening for them, so I'll give it a second chance and hope it was a one-off poor experience. We all have bad days, right?

Fantastic food with fantastic beer makes a fantastic pub! We're local dairy farmers and we got to know The Bradgate family when popping in for a pint and pizza (the Bennion is definitely one to try), our milk makes cheese and butter of which we now supply to the pub! They're a bunch of lovely people who take great pride in all the ingredients used to produce their menu!

Good food with super service. Atmosphere happy and friendly. Visit much enjoyed by our party. We all felt that perhaps we all ate too much. Lovely walk in park after eating corrected this feeling. Lady at information centre was very informed and gave us many new pieces of information to think about.

On the plus side, the food is good (a proper slab of pie with good gravy and chunky chips) with some nice local beers and the staff were accommodating when we needed to change a booking time for traffic reasons. However, the service was extremely slow (30-40 mins for the main course, and we even had to remind them to pop some ice cream on a plate for the kids) - the place was full, but didn't seem overrun and there were lots of staff around. The allergy menu was confusing (apparently, dairy is not one of the 'main' ones so they only listed lactose, and allegedly a vegan bean burger wasn't dairy-free) but the staff were eventually slightly more helpful. The other slight annoyance in winter is the disabled and baby change aren't obviously heated and are on the edge of the building so freezing! I'm not sure we'd go back for food - maybe if we're around Bradgate with all day to lounge - buy would pop in for a drink.

Visited a couple of times now and I would definitely visit again! Staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. A great selection of daily specials and the Sunday roasts are lovely. We went for a walk at Bradgate Park and this was the perfect pit stop for food and drinks afterwards. Possibly the desserts could be a bit better, but other than that it is a very impressive pub with good deals on throughout the week.

Fabulous service from a young man called Reece. Busy evening during the pandemic made circa difficult job but he was brilliant! It was an incredibly hot day when we visited so we opted to stay inside. Limited menu if pizzas on this particular day ...which were superb!

I organise a dog walking group and we had our Xmas meal there with our dogs here 15/12/18... I only have praise in abundance, one couple got lost as not from Leicestershire and they held the food back for an hour.. we would never have known. Everything ran like clockwork, the food was lovely, all 22 of our dogs were welcomed and we were not hurried out for the next party to arrive.

Fabulous location, fabulous surrounding for my mums 82nd Birthday. BUT the room was freezing cold, no heating on, such a shame as this spoilt the over all experience. Get some heating on guys, it's January! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Two courses for £16.50.

Have you ever come across a dairy free before? I won't bother asking if you've catered for one before... apparently halloumi fries are dairy free. Asked them to switch it for a dairy free and they just took the fries off. Thought they'd at least swap it. Still charged me full price though, someone else in my party would have eaten them you know!

Went here for a private party that was held in an attic space that was just right for an intimate family do . Buffet of salad , coleslaw and a selection of stone baked pizzas . Pub was very busy ,they do do a family pizza priced offer . Would go back .said to the landlord it's so cosy ,just right for a rest after walking around Ol' John on a crisp winter's day . Under new management. This place now has a great garden/terrace area for dining and an outdoor area for children. The food is great gastro-pub food and stone-baked pizzas cooked from a newly installed open fire pizza oven. The inside has had a complete refurb and they are also now doing breakfasts in the morning for the early visitors to Bradgate Park. Long gone is the carvery and poor service, a great new pub has arrived, probably one of the best in the county.

The place is really clean and tidy well laid out the staff is very friendly but the food was mediocre at fish and chips £13 the chips were like roast potatoes fish taste is frozen not fresh batteries crispy on the outside but mushy on the inside underdone my partner had a bacon cheeseburger meal which was quite nice just the burger was a bit tough and the fries we're cold very overpriced for what it was I'm giving this review three stars because of the place was really nice and comfortable stuff are friendly the food was poor
