A hidden gem lovely old pub, had a great pizza and a super pint of Pedigree. CJ and her staff were all very helpful and the locals were all very friendly. Well done.

We recently celebrated a family occasion at The Greyhound and were all extremely impressed. We had the private function room with the skittle alley and it was a really pleasant and enjoyable evening. It was a great venue and evening for both adults and children alike. The food and staff were both excellent. Highly recommended.

Edited: the landlady called back to provide me with an explanation to the issue and all has now been resolved. Called to reserve a table for Sunday lunch, when told they were only doing standard menu. I went away from the phone for 10 seconds to ask my partner if they’d like to go still. By the time I put my head back to the phone they’d hung up. Absolutely awful way to treat a local/potential booking.

First visit since lock down last Friday and the new menu is superb. Big plate of Nachos to start with and a decent portion of battered cod to follow. Others in the party had one of the new Artisan Pizzas and Homemade burger. I must say the tapas is also a favorite. Nice safe set up, sat in the garden until the heavens opened. I'd definitely recommend the Pizzas.

Very nice and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Food was excellent, they also came up trumps with our request of having the fish without batter. The chef suggested she could do it in their own specially prepared breadcrumbs. Glad we chose this option it was wonderful. Will definitely be going back.

Popped in for a drink and sat in the beer garden. Nicely set out with new tables and chairs and picnic tables. Staff nice and friendly at the bar. Cider festival at time of visit at £2 a pint! New chef started last week so they have changed their menu. Looks quite nice so will probably pop back there to eat sometime soon

Fab service! Brilliant time in a separate room playing skittles. We were never forgotten about; the food was perfect. Home cooked and delicious. Even catered for gluten free/vegetarian/vegan with ease. Thank you!!

Dropped in for early dinner on our way out of Leicester. Service a bit slow but we were first in so not a big deal. Food was very good, hot, plenty of it and most importantly the plates were hot. Would not hesitate to drop in again. See you soon.

Nice setting, gardens with good play equipment and pubs was nicely done creating a cosy and pleasant environment. The food however wasnt worth the money. I think the size of our group amd a new menu may have contributed to this and when we mentioned it feedback was well received. I think we will return at some point to see if the food then meets the quality of the rest of the pub.
