Great place for a lunchtime drink if shopping in Leicester, close to city center, at the rear of the market. Staff are great and the locals friendly. Price of a pint is very competitive. Décor is a little basic and In past times i would probably refer to this establishment has a Back Street Boozer (not that's a bad thing).

It does the job, very busy inside , but tables are spaced out and its table service only. They didn't have enough staff so service was slow but It was good value and the tall ceiling and traditional interior are comforting!

I used to go there often with a friend of mine, especially weekends. I loved the atmosphere, some of the Staff we knew by name. It was always nice to have a couple of lagers at a place you knew you were valued as a customer. You will just chat with about almost any regular there and enjoy your lagers.
