Ordered a rake away in person. Their veg manchuria was stall and spoilt. Also had their schewan rice and Crispy Auberigine which was reasonable. Tried to contact them on mobile phone as they don't have a landlines to complain and left a message but they never rang g back. Says much about customer care!! Wouldn't order from there again.

This pub has not changed in so many years. The interior is still the same. The carpet, tables and chairs are the same - not sure if the owner wants to keep it authentic or don't want to update. The atmosphere is ok when I visited. Has a true British pub aroma. Was expecting more local beer on tap but they had one local beer and rest was American beer, cider etc. Has the usual snacks ( nuts, crisp etc) . They do have hot food if you want to eat. Did not try it so can't comment. Overall a decent pub.

Food was really good and portion sizes are large. The meat platter is much better than the veg. They need windows in the restaurant section, it was too hot at times. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at the bar afterwards was good. Service was excellent.

I like the food I've tried(usually takeaway). I've not ordered anything I didn't like, not everything is amazing, but I've never felt disappointed. Food is quite subjective, but I recommend this place. It's reasonably in terms of cost and tasty food. So give it a go and see if you agree with me. (a lot of these places do seem to have chefs that come and go, so that does sometimes effect the quality of food, but right now it's very good)

The food here is really good! Highly recommended the crispy chicken and chilli fish with pilli chips. The pub felt a bit old and pricy but I think everything is now and I think they're returning the pub area

9 of us visited on Bank Holiday Monday, got a table with no issues even though it was busy. So the bar and restaurant are two separate entities, you purchase drinks from the bar, and all food from the restaurant staff. We had a great experience, food was fresh well cooked, and came out within 20 minutes of ordering, the spices where good and it all tasted better then a lot of the mixed grill desi pubs in Leicester. Pricing is very reasonable, and the amount of food served is fantastic. Definitely a place to come for a good Mixed grill and Nepalese/ Indian food, it’s family friendly, car park is huge, great value for money.

Great pub and restaurant. Adequate seating with pool table and darts at the pub side. The restaurant is good too but not as much spacious. Terrible view outside of the window with all the rubble.

Good food and atmosphere. Ordered a main each with 2 naan and 2 rices and a starter to share and that was plenty for 2 hungry gents. The food is tasty and mains are big portions. Starters are a bit on the small side but tasty nonetheless. Service was fast and friendly. Beer is always cold and fresh tasting without any dodgy tastes like you get at some pubs. Got chatting to 2 guys who'd come all the way from London and said how good it was too... so must be good! Keep it up.

Good pub, parking and spacious inside. However food was mostly disappointing. I ordered a mix grill, masala chips and fish pakoras. *The mix grill was good - 4/5 *Masala chips were disappointing, I was expecting dry masala but was covered in a wierd gravy that didn't taste nice - 2/5 *Fish pakoras were extremely disappointing as they were clearly frozen and not fresh. Batter was soggy and there was hardly any fish inside. Should have been crispy - 1/5

Wow, was down last night for Diwali. Must have been 20 of us, the service was amazing. The food oh my god was the best I have had in a long while. We have eaten at lots of places in Leicester but this was something else! I had a Royal platter sizzler with the fish and prawns, I’m not even a great fan of seafood! Was unbelievable tasty! The vegetarian dishes was just as brilliant All I can say is keep up the great work!!!

Great place and friendly staff. Strongly recommend the lamb Saag and butter chicken. Has been recently refurbished with a new floor all round. Still the same hospitality and the pool table is back up. 👍

Had a family meal here on a Wednesday four weeks ago. Ok, it's a pub that does food but the dining area is segregated from the main bar area. Food was very good and tasty indeed and the service was good too. Reasonably priced. For a Wednesday, there were quite a few diners so the place has to be good. Can highly recommend it.

Here is the problem. The food is good but everything else is bordering on a squat. The food quality isn't enough as hundreds of places in Leicester give you the quality and a nice decor or surroundings for the same price. Food is a 4. Decor lower than a 1.
