w. t.Visited this place by accident while exploring this city. Perfect place to enjoy a variety of great keg & cask beers. Been there for a quick one but I spent more time for tasting cool craft beers from the famous breweries. Very reasonable prices. Such lovely atmosphere. Staff was such friendly n service was with smile. Had quality time there. Thanks to them.

r. s.This is a fantastic little pub wines spirits and lots of beer, they have lots of choice and there is something for everyone to drink. The place is really nicely decorated and has upstairs seating as well. We popped in before going to dinner and had some really good wine and beer. It has a really good atmosphere it's really worth a visit staff are super friendly and know there stuff about the drinks they are serving. This pub is worth visiting and is a must if your beer drinker or just like a nice glass of something.
L.Lovely staff and not heaving on Saturday night like many other pubs on the street. Seating outside and drinks everyone enjoyed 😊

The place is quite compact, but there is room for sitting. Wonderfully friendly staff. A pleasure to visit.
G. O.We were headed elsewhere last night when we came upon this pub, the sign outside said craft beer so in we went. I'm so glad we did, what a gem of a pub. Everything was spot on, the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they sell, the atmosphere was laid back, the decor was clean and fresh. The beer was top notch, they stock a very good selection of craft beer which is kept and served in very good condition. We will definitely be back and we'll stay longer next time!

S. M.Really liked this place. Small, yes. Cosy, yes. Extremely large range of drinks on tap for such a boutique bar/pub. The barman clearly knows his stuff and was happy to talk about the different drinks on offer and let you try first. The conservatory/skylight snug at the back is gorgeous. This is the sort of place that makes having a beer feel like a real proper treat. Strongly recommended.

It's so well appointed that this is one place that is suitable for dating couples and small parties of beer lovers. I love it as everyone who drinks there is lovely too. I guarantee this place is idiot free (present company accepted).
They have an excellent area upstairs too.
Don't forget to head to the fridges on the way out for your take away...

G. D.Excellent range of craft and local beers that will suit everyone's needs. If you are unable to finish your drink or want some more for later you can take home a bottle. This isn't a place for people to just get drunk it's for people who appreciate beer. There is more than one floor and usb charging ports available. Vegan and vegetarian food options available when food is being served.
T.Great little boozer with a solid range of craft on tap, a few doors down from some other key beer/ale destinations in Leicester town centre. Tasteful decor, informative staff, more seating available than the few tables on the ground floor (not that we explored them). Can't believe we hadn't discovered it sooner!
C.Lovely place! Plentiful choice and good prices. Guy who served me (tall, short dark hair and beard) was brilliant. It seems small at first but there's a big upstairs bit too which solves that. Just a shame it closes at 11! I realise that might be out of their control cos of licensing tho!

It is a very compact bar. The prices are towards the top-end I felt.
It is named The Two-Tailed Lion after the coat-of-arms of Simon De Montfort, Earl of Leicester (who is one of the four statues on The Haymarket Memorial Clock Tower, Leicester and after whom De Montfort University, Leicester - which is close nearby - was named).
