I love coming to The Tree, and have done for years! It feels like home. I’m so glad that the food is back and it’s better than ever. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating, and Lauren always goes out of her way to ensure you’re having a good time! 10/10 Really recommend the loaded curly fries. Chefs kiss.

We was lucky enough to get a sofa seat on a busy Saturday night. We've been here quite a few times. Always a nice atmosphere, comfy seats (if you can get one) it's nice in the warmer weather to sit in their beer garden. The drinks are overpriced but so are most places now, unless you go to a weather spoons. I understand Saturday nights are busy, but it was a really long wait to get served Saturday just gone. There was no acknowledgement that we were waiting.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great vegan menu with many choices. The lovely food came really quick and the chips were really hot. It's also a nice pub large but cosy and has a really lovely garden. Great place all round and good value. Also very welcoming to our dog and they brought him a bowl of water and a little dish of treats.

We called in here yesterday at 17.00pm for food and drinks. We were served by Cameron who was absolutely amazing and attended to our every need , nothing was too much trouble for her . She kept us up to date with everything. Lovely superb customer service and when we are back in Leicester again we will be calling back . Thank you Cameron you made us feel very welcomed and valued 😊

The Tree has been a Sunday favourite for just over a year. Their ambience is nice, and the vegan Sunday roast is the main reason we keep coming back. The seitan joint is brilliant, add the plant based gravy, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, parsnips and other seasonal vegetables, it's easy to see how this spot has the local vegan community coming in a for a national dish. At 2019 price of £10 it's also great value for money. The staff are always helpful. Had the Apple crumble with sorbet (No vegan custard available yet), today and glad I did. The place was refurbished during this year and so has a fresh feel about it.

Very nice pub with good atmosphere. I will say I only ordered the doughballs for food, and they were nice but pretty pricey so I cant comment on complaints about the tacos. Otherwise it was a very nice pub, and it's good to be able to go to places like this again.

Our time at The Tree today was mixed. A good experience overall however two pints of beer were spilled over our table and my partner by a member of staff with no words of apology or compensation from management. Staff were overall quite friendly and we don’t blame the member of staff for the spillage at all but my partner was covered in sticky beer for the rest of the day which wasn’t at all pleasant (we had to change places so my partner could sit in the sun to dry off). A simple sorry from members of staff and management would have sufficed but did not arrive (more so from management in this respect). We enjoyed The Tree but a little extra compassion in our circumstance would have gone a long, long way, and led to a 4/5 review! We would recommend The Tree to friends but would hope that should they experience the same problems, a manager would swiftly come out and apologise for any misfortune.

I love the Tree! It's even better now after they remodelled and now they do food to a sensible time (I think it used to stop at like 7pm?). They have arguably the best beer garden in the city centre. It has loads of foliage so it feels like you're in a park but you're right in the centre! Lovely staff and really cool vibe too. I'd definitely recommend. Edit: it really sucks that I'm dropping this to 2 stars because it's such a cool place, but TWICE now they've cancelled a reservation last minute, which completely messes up the whole night's plan (at time of writing covid means it's essential to be booked somewhere). On one of these two occasions the bouncer gave some weird shpeil about how a reservation is 'booked but not confirmed' despite a confirmation email. And on the 2nd occasion the manager blamed a 'hitch in the system' which is not a valid excuse when they've been open for two weeks, and we'd booked a week in advance and they only thought to tell us literally 5 hours before the booking. I feel harsh dropping from 5 stars to 2 but these cancellations literally ruined our nights, meaning we had to desperately ring around trying to find new places. 2nd Edit: wow I must have been in a super bad mood to drop it to 2, I think I drunkenly did it after they cancelled on us for the 2nd time 😂But thanks to their lovely response and offer of free bevs and also the fact that this factor won't be a problem once covid goes away I'll whap it back to 5 as it is a legit wicked place and hospitality has obviously struggled a lot in covid.

Easily the friendliest, most Covid safe and nicest place to catch a beer and/or a bite to eat in Leicester at the moment. Everything is rigourosly cleaned down between table changes and the staff work so hard to ensure the venue remains both Covid safe and compliant (despite challenging members of the public they remain professional and are always clear and consistent about the rules). Honestly they guys deserve a medal, respect!

What a fantastic pub. It’s a lot bigger than it looks and has a huge beer garden. Various groups played during the evening which made a great atmosphere. Pizzas were freshly made and tasted delicious. Started in here early on and finished our night here. Really nice pub with friendly staff.

I have been to The Tree a couple of times since it reopened and had a great experience on both occasions. The cocktails were absolutely delicious (especially during Happy Hour!), and the pizza I had was incredible. I will definitely be returning again soon. Many thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

Once we got to our table with a bit of a mix up on the booking, I found the app unusable. Insisting on table first before you can look at the menu, then once through the order had to register an account. All very well but it rejected my email address with no explanation, so I was dependant on my friends for orders. One-time only payment or login with FB/Google options please. Other than that the food was good value though limited choice, drinks were delivered reasonably quickly with very few staff. I understand these are difficult times in the hospitality industry but please get your app and the outdoor heating sorted.

Great Place for Beers and Food, I come here every time I'm out in Leicester whether that be with the family or my mates, great place for a decent pint and does decent food too, in the summer the beer garden is great and unusual in the centre of Leicester! Last time i came here me and the wife were here for 5 hours! sat on the sofa watching people come and go, reading magazines and we enjoyed every second!!

Still one of the most laid back bars in town - and with one of the best beer garden's (it's narrow, but lively). It's a fairly quirky place given that it's long and narrow and has completely uneven floors and even more uneven furniture. Great local artwork on the walls, great mix of music, great mix of customers. Long been known as a cocktail kind of place, but also has a good selection of draught and bottled drinks.

Formally the Orange Tree, this long-time local favorite has a great beer selection, cozy chairs, lovely garden, and fun house specials and cocktail names. I remember the staff to be pleasantly chatty.

*The* place to be! All the cool kids in Leicester hang out here and it's no surprise why. The drinks selection is great (especially my favourite Leffe and hoegarden beers on tap!) The decor and staff are funky and welcoming. You can even buy some - the art I mean, not the staff. Service is reasonably quick but let's face it, even if it took a while it's worth the wait for such amazing drinks. The music is always groovy and eclectic and guaranteed to get everyone into the mood! They even do decent grub before 9pm if I recall, from previous time I went. Feeling a bit peckish now. Grrrr! In short, be careful when you go here as you may well be overwhelmed with just how good this place is! Keep it up folks.

Ok hipster type bar that was better 10 years ago in my opinion, art for sale all over the walls with mismatch of retro furniture, cocktails recently come down in price which is good as they were very dear. The food is posh pub grub. The garden is lovely, pub and garden get very crowded and noisy in the evening. Mixed crowd of people from shoppers to party goers, toilets need updating, liquid hand soap in ladies is in big communal glass bottle which is hard to pick up and you have to be careful of the door opening in face when you dry your hands!

The Orange Tree made for an unexpected highlight on our Friday night pub crawl of Leicester. It was busy but not rammed on our visit, which, as someone closer to 40 than 30 was appreciated greatly. If you fancy a convivial boozer, a relaxed ambience, with a good chance of grabbing a table to enjoy a few beers and an audible conversation then look no further.

Great food - had the lamb souvlaki with chips. Only downside was that there were only two sticks of the souvlaki - if there were three that would've been perfect! Having said that, it was so delicious, which is why I wish I had another, haha. There are vegan options too, including pulled jackfruit burgers and vegan fish and chips. It is a bit of a wait for the food though - waited around 30-40 minutes, but it was definitely worth it.
