A great pub, with a good selection of beers. I'm pleased that the Macpherson Brothers are doing the security (both former boxers) and there is never any trouble here. The food is always top-notch as well, good portion sizes and quality.

Went to walkabout last night and I had a really fun time- want to give a shout-out to the security man watching the dance floor for noticing and removing a man who was making my friends and I feel very uncomfortable. Honestly made such a big difference to the night feeling safe!

Visited for the first time since their refurbishment with my girlfriend (non-drinker). The non-alcoholic cocktail was tasty, but the Aussie beer was better. Tried the chicken plate...fast service and tasted great. Plenty of screens for the football, nice warm atmosphere and staff seemed attentive. Will be back.

Went in for lunch last week and really enjoyed it. The bar staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Got a lovely burger with fries and a drink all for five pounds. It was served quickly, was hot and well presented. Will definitely go again.

Came here to watch an evening match and have a few bites. This location offers plenty of seating and plenty of screens. Volume for the event displayed on screen is adequate. As for food/drinks, the bar is pretty big and there's plenty of room to order. Food orders took a bit too long but the wings were quite good. Nachos aren't too bad either. Staff is friendly as well. An enjoyable experience overall, despite a few rowdy customers requiring the intervention of security to settle things down.

Called in for a few beers during a week business stay in Leicester, clean and tidy bar, welcoming decor especially for the younger crowd. Although I visited on a Monday there was a nice atmosphere, quiz night on the go. Worth a visit.

It was fine. They did a pub quizz but if you are over 25 then perhaps not the place for you and not really a place for a conversation... it is very loud. Staff were very pleasant though and good choice of drinks.

Ideal place to drink & dance with friends. The double toilets were a surprise but good idea considering there's often 2-3 women coming out of a single cubicle! Floors were sticky but the drinks were cheap & the service was quick enough 😊 probably because it was dead tho 😅

Its the old Yates's (they're owned by the same company), so gets the same clientele. That said, LOADS of TVs with sky sports on, cheap drinks, decent enough food menu, and friendly staff. Gets a bit full when Leicester are at home but the bar queues move fairly quickly. Good place to watch football on TV and have a couple of pints.

For a bar that hasn't been open very long I was baffled as to how they managed to get the floor so sticky - seriously, I almost lost my footwear and I was wearing boots! I'm surprised they converted this place into a Walkabout as it was always busy as a Yates'. So, there's plenty of space, the dancefloor area is pretty big, it seems to be either full of older people or full of younger people. I didn't ask, but I assume they sell Bundaberg rum there so that's always a good thing.
