Superb beers and fabulously decorated. Great selection of beers and ciders. The establishment allows customers to bring in their own food and they even provide some cutlery. Bravo! p.s. Your hairy friends, no not the hubby, your dogs are welcome too.

CASHLESS BUT NOT CLASSLESS. It was on my suggestion that we as a group decend upon the new bar on the bailgate. I was taken aback by the warning of no cash sales, CASHLESS card only. It was easy, the staff where great and welcoming. Guest beers from all over and the standard spirit selection. Bright atmosphere and very on fleek. The space is very flexible, business meeting to romantic moments it's one fits all. Give them a go

Great place to come for craft beer in Lincoln! So many options on tap to suit every taste and a great atmosphere.

Excellent find only minutes from the castle and cathedral. At least four real ales, two real ciders and eight craft beers. Plus loads of cans and bottles in the fridges. Service was good. You can bring your own food (or order in). Unlike most micro pubs there was some background music - but it wasn't load and didn't interfere with the conversation. It was busy when we visited either.

I’ve been to the Nottingham one, now I’ve been to the Lincoln one. Good selection of real ales, 2 flat ciders. Well worth popping in here after a long walk up Steep hill.

Well worth a visit. I can't believe this place doesn't have a queue out of the door! Loads of beers to try in various measures. We will definitely be back! Oh and bring your pupper, they're dog friendly.

Two stars was a bit harsh. Nice staff but the bar is lacking atmosphere. Lighting a little harsh for my taste. Maybe some more comfortable furniture? Beer was less than palatable but that was down to my own selection! Worth a look if you are seriously into craft beers.

Nice place but with decent beers. I actually liked the modern feel of the place (a nice escape from old traditional pubs all around Lincoln). However, the decoration and lighting needs more thought. Why spotlights and why so much bright light? It has a more café touch that a bar/brewery. -- having said that, it's been a while since I've been there, so maybe things have improved :)

A great place to sample great real ales and craft beers. Very dog friendly with water offered straight away. Staff very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the beers on offer. A great feature is that you can take your own food in or have a takeaway delivered to supplement a great drink. Well done to all concerned.

Great place for a group to spend a few hours. Relaxed atmosphere and every table has a power socket with two plugs AND two USB sockets. Beer selection is great and they are happy for you to bring your own food. Good mix of mainly rock music was playing and attractive decor. Prices very reasonable, which is saying something when you consider it's in the Cathedral Quarter! Great spot!

Unbelievably good beers and ales served here. Doesn't matter if you prefer craft key keg or real ale all tastes are catered for. Awesome can and bottle beer menu too. I had a few but the white stout was better than you'd think. Great wallpaper in the gents too! Cracking place.

Amazing choice of beers and the staff are great! I feel like the interior would benefit massively from having nice ambient lighting rather than bright white abrasive lighting. Other than that I would recommend and its the BEST CRAFT BEER BAR IN LINCOLN!

Nice for a short stop, but a bit too old man/hipster like with the ridiculous craft beer prices to match. Letting you order in a takeaway is a nice touch but the curry doesn't half smell the place out. Especially when the place is so warm, steaming up, and there's no ventilation.

Brilliant bar, one of the best places for drinks in Lincoln. 11% IPAs, of course a little pricey but worth it! Very friendly bartender, had a great conversation with! All around great place, despite Lincoln being quite competitive with establishments like this, it definitely stands out and is worth a visit.

If you like your real, & craft ales, then you're in the right place. Selection of soft drinks, & other alcoholic beverages. Great ales, knowledgeable staff. Very friendly, local bar, part of the local ale trail. There isn't an outside patio, or garden, but they do have aircon.

We had a drink here during our stay in Lincoln. They have an amazing selection of beers, the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful, helping you to select the beer for your taste. They also have live music at the weekend.

Being fairly new Lincolnites we very nearly walked past Beerheadz. From the outside it has the slightly confusing look of a cafe (especially in the dusk light of early evening). Inside it has a cool urban feel with artfully painted walls, chunky planks of wood and a bar designed with scaffolding. This is not your traditional, old fashioned pub. Good range of beers, both on tap and bottled and a friendly knowledgeable barman. We enjoyed our visit as a couple, and think this venue would be perfect for bigger groups as well, with its spacious layout and large sociable bench seating. Look forward to returning.

It's ok. I'm not sure how long the place has been open so it may have a bit of maturing to do. It needs some soft furnishings to dull the noise a little, and for a place that is a beer house they didn't have anything non-alcoholic - a shame because there's some really good stuff out there and sometimes you're driving. I guess I'll have to try it again and see how it's doing because an uphill beer house will be a welcome change from the old guard of the Strugglers and the Vic.
