It's amazing, love it. I'd love it all to be a little cheaper but you get what you pay for. The food was excellent and good sized portions for a bloke my size. Choices available on the menu to suit most people and the staff are very polite, our young lady in particular who we found was open to a bit of banter made our visit hilarious.
Loads of parking, quiet area and a McDonald's over the road if you leave hungry, but you won't.
W. P.Went for breakfast , was greeted by a pleasant lady and seated promptly. Order was taken and food and drinks soon appeared. All the servers worked together doing different jobs and it worked very well. They all seem to know what each other was doing . The food was very good, hot , tasty and full of flavour. Obviously fresh ingredients and I imagine not bought from a supermarket or cash and carry. Coffee was exceptional to mirror the standard of the food. The menu had something for everyone catering for all. Value was very good for the quality of the food and standard of service . Cant recommend this place enough 10/10
K. R.Took a chance on this place after the dentist, was going for a maccies breakfast then spotted this local restaurant. Thought I'd give it a go and what a great find. Possibly the best breakfast I've had in Lincoln. Certainly the best one I can remember for a long time.
I ordered the large breakfast with black pudding as an extra and the produce used in cooking here is fantastic, the black pudding is up there, the bacon is cooked to perfection with the fat rendered and crisp, fantastic local sausages. Its no wonder this place is clearly liked by the locals.
Lastly the service is brilliant, 1 of the waitresses knows people by name, is caring and great with service.

Well, what can I say. We’ve been regular customers since Sharon and Rodger opened, and have never had a bad meal or experience.
But tonight was my mum and dads first visit, for my mums birthday.
I could not have chosen a better place anywhere.
Everyone was so fantastic, the extras they added were just beyond and the hospitality was second to none.
The food was exemplary, the steak was divine and the espresso martini made by Sharon’s fair hands, was perfection.
It really was like celebrating with family, and I would not go anywhere else.
The food, the staff, the ambiance……the whole thing is simply the best.
To Sharon, Rodger and all the staff there tonight, thank you from the bottom of my very grateful heart, for making my mums birthday one we will never forget ❤️
And we will see you very soon !!!!!

Having written this about a month ago, as promised we've been back again more than once, today as we were tight on time we booked a table. So usual brill service, met at the door by Nadia, took our order, served us with the usual high quality food in impeccable surroundings. How do they do such fresh cooked, quality food for the price they charge, I don't know but I'll will be back again next week. Only complaint, it's 25 miles to get there!!

The quality and portion size of the food was quality , and served in a decent time. I also liked the fact that you can see into the kitchen , and watch and listen to the Chef s sing along , whilst cooking.

S. M.We went for a meal and catch up with friends here a few days ago and when we arrived we found out it was steak night. Your steak meal and a drink was offered at a discounted price which when we looked on the menu turned out to be less than half of the regular price for the meal alone! My husband ordered it but expected the little steak cuts to come due to the price however was shocked when a regular steak came cooked to his personally taste brilliantly. I had two vegetarian dishes which were equally delicious. Staff were friendly and it is nice to be able to see the chefs working. No doubt about it, we will be returning !
S. R.5* is not enough for how great our experience was at Mammas. Myself and my family had a 3 course dinner here to celebrate my brothers GCSE results and every bit was exceptional. It was our first time here, and we will be back again many more times as it is now my favourite restaurant. The quality, portion sizes and really friendly staff made our evening so special. I.Stopped here for lunch ordered 2 paninis salad and chips, paninis nice chips nice but nearly 40 minute wait, so nearly late back so maybe next time allow more time so not having to rush food

M. D.Visited Mamas Bistro today for breakfast. This was our first outing to a restaurant in five months.
We ordered the big breakfast which was plentiful and well cooked. We also ordered the vegan breakfast which again was well cooked but I was disappointed to receive dry toast with the meal. Vegan spread is readily available and could easily have been included.
Our main worry was the cleaning protocols. On the list posted at the entrance it says that individually wrapped cutlery would be supplied (this was not so at our table) and tables and backs of chairs would be cleaned after every customer ( we didn’t see this being carried out during our visit). Also it would have been more reassuring if the serving staff had been wearing face coverings ( not sure what Government guidelines are on this point).

Thank you for your response. I did not comment on your food because we only had drinks. As for your vast menu, we only saw your breakfast menu. I shall explain our experience in full for you. We arrived at approx 11.15am. The waitress asked if we wanted a breakfast, to which we replied no, assuming she meant a cooked breakfast. We were then seated. After almost 10 mins, we managed to catch her attention to ask for a menu. She replied "You said you weren't eating", so explained we only said we didn't want a breakfast. She then gave us a breakfast menu, which was quite limited & didn't list anything we wanted (just wanted a treat like coffee n cake etc). I asked for a drinks menu but she said you don't have drinks menu & asked what we wanted. She wasn't very forthcoming with what was available, but we got there in the end. Once the drinks finally came, the apple juice was in a small glass, about 2/3 full. I commented to my daughter that there wasn't much in the glass & another waitress overheard, agreed & kindly topped it up. Getting the waitresses attention to pay our bill wasn't easy either. I do try to be as fair as possible with my reviews and consider 3 stars to be quite generous under the circumstances. Please understand this is not said in a stroppy way, merely trying to clearly state the facts.

The table even had balloons & a birthday card for my partner & a chocolate gift from the owners. We have been there several times & have never been disappointed. I suggest you visit Mamas if you are in Lincoln. The owner even gave my partner a birthday drink of her choice.

L.We visited as an early birthday treat. 3 adults & 3 children. I booked in advance. On arrival there had been a communication error with the booking. However this was swiftly resolved & we were seated. 3 of our family are vegetarian. Usually there is a choice of 2 or 3 dishes for a vegetarian. But here, wow! Multiple choices. We also liked that there wasn't a children's menu as such. They were able to choose from the adult menu. The pasta dishes are cheaper for the children & include squash. Our 2 youngest liked being 'grown up' & welcomed adult meal choices. We chose 3 starters to share. The quality of the ingredients absolutely shines through. Generous portions & all tasted wonderful. The cream cheese served with 1 of the starters was so good that I would've happily had a tub full & not shared. When the mains arrived they certainly lived up to the standard of the starters. 4 of us chose pizza & the other 2 chose pasta dishes. Between us we decided that we had eaten the best pasta, pizza sauce, mushrooms, olives, parmesan, prosciutto ever! The pizza's were rustic looking & very generously topped. The crust was absolutely perfect. Between us all, nothing was left. Luckily there was enough room for gelato. Again, fantastic quality & good choice of flavours. The chef is clearly passionate about what he creates. He came out to pick fresh herbs from a window box for our meal & spoke with us. All the staff were friendly. The restaurant itself is really lovely & a nice space to be in. This place really delivered it all. A fantastic meal, quality ingredients, beautifully cooked, tasted incredible, lovely staff & a great setting. We'll be back.
T. P.Lovely lunch and reasonable priced. Service was prompt and not overly attentive, which is great when eating lunch. Only negative comment is the restaurant area felt a little unkempt, tables and floors should be cleared quicker once customers have left.

K. L.We only discovered this little gem of a place for breakfast yesterday and was clearly that nice, we're back again today. My husband had the large breakfast yesterday with a flat white, and today he's had eggs Benedict with a white americano. I try to avoid wheat and so yesterday had a salmon omelette with a ramekin of mushrooms and today an Italian omelette with mushrooms and sausage on the side, both times with pumpkin spiced latte. Sitting here today watching them making lasagna from scratch which looks sooo delicious! Prices are really great and we've been looking at the menus for lunch and dinner with definite intentions of booking and having a family meal here 😋😁

C. E.Such a lovely experience. Booked for our 9 year old and visiting friends birthday. The starters were All fresh, beautifully presented and so bloody yum. Our 6 year old made yummy noises throughout!! The mains were incredible. The pizza was great. A lot of restaurants pizza are very salty and heavy but these were light and not salty at all. Even with all the cheese. The pasta was insane. So good. Our visiting friends from Newcastle even said that they'd come across just for the lasagne! They even asked me if I'd get some and bring it across for their wedding next year 😅 which of course I will.
Best part was that any pasta dish could be smaller for children so our daughter had fancy pasta and felt extremely grown up and sophisticated. The only change I would ask would be to make a child sized pizza option. We had to buy our younger daughter a full sized pizza as she has to have the vegan due to a bad dairy intolerance (Which really isnt a big deal as we've got half in our fridge) over all, amazing, and we'll be coming for regular visits from now on 💖 -the Evans family.

But also can I say I have been to gino's restaurant in London a well know chef and to be honest I paid half the price at mama's with better quality and service, a top restaurant that lincoln needs.

W.I was delighted when Mama's opened as an Italian restaurant and I continue to wish them every success, However, they will not attract and keep loyal customers if they over price items on their menu. Yesterday I paid 4.95 pounds for one slice of bruschetta. Notwithstanding the high price, it was probably......no definitely the most tasteless bruschetta that I have ever encountered. Generally my wife and I have been happy with our visits to this restaurant, but last night's tapas experience was an expensive disappointment. We shall stick to pasta and pizza in future.
