Excellent Sunday lunch. Never busy. Great beer. Love the decor. Handy lil local secret. Go check it out.

Great service, very clean and comfortable. Drinks aren't over priced the food prices also are well priced too. Just had Sunday lunch and was fantastic. Staff are so polite and friendly and even let us go away with a "doggy bag" of leftover meat for my dog back home which was a class act from the staff. A lovely spacious beer garden area to sit in and enjoy your drinks in the nice weather which unfortunately we didn't catch today but still it's a very clean area with no shortage of ashtrays which customers must being using to effect because their weren't any cigarette butts laid about. Definitely going back to try some other menu items soon.

Meals arrived hot (mainly) and in a timely fashion. I would not advise ordering food of the children menu, as children's food was microwaved pizza that was cold in the middle with a puddle of water I the middle. The adults food was all fantastic, though. it was worth the price for the meal and service. Hopefully, the children's menu can be improved in the future?

We booked a table at Christmas time last year, and really enjoyed, it so we booked again this year. Really lovely place, understated. Food was really good, lovely choice and came fresh and inviting. Would highly recommended it to anyone. Good choice of drinks, has a lovely warming fire and atmosphere. Also has free parking.

We spent a short holiday in the area and we had dinner at the Peacock each evening. The food and service was top notch and the staff were so friendly. I would recommend the Peacock to anyone. Great place. Steve and Freda.

Food was excellent served by a friendly young man called Josh. We ate on a Thursday lunchtime and besides the two of us there was one other couple in the eating area. A clean and tidy place and I understand the evenings get quite busy. We will go again.

I rang and spoke to a very helpful member of the team to ask if they could accommodate 8 cyclists for lunch on our way from Peterborough to Lincoln I gave a rough time we hoped to arrive. We arrived an hour earlier than I thought but even so a table had been reserved in a area where we could keep an on our bikes, which was really thoughtful. Service was excellent, fantastic Covid measures in place to keep customers safe. Food was great can’t recommend enough we will be back

The food was nice, found the staff pleasent but was a little shocked at some of the prices. We had, the Cathedral Burger, another Burger at £9.95 which i can't recall its name, chicken wings and fish and chips, along with a pint and half of coke and a Lemonade and lager which came to just over £61, maybe its just me but it seemed a little steep, but overall, a nice pub and nice food but i did overhear other customers complaining, but that is non of my Business.

Really like this place, the beer has always been good, but now the food is as well! You'll struggle to beat steak night Thursday! Rump, sirloin or ribeye steaks or two peppered pork steaks, twice cooked chips, mushrooms, home made onion rings & half a tomato for two for £22, don't have a starter! Because its a plate full and its cooked perfectly!

Food was totally amazing. Service fantastic. The only thing that ruined our meal was the noise from the bar. What Shudda been a romantic meal for 2 was spoilt by this. We had to shout across our table to each other. I would suggest a door to separate the 2 rooms.

Always a favourite of Lincoln folk. It’s just far enough away from the Cathedral quarter to avoid the masses. So, definately worth a 15minute walk if you are a visitor though. Food delicious, plenty of space between tables and Sunday roast was superb (according to my boyfriend) I had the nut roast and that was stunning. Lots of veg too.

We had pork and it was so thin you couldn't pick it up it had to be scooped and there wasn't any crackling. Vegetables were nice. Two loud tv's in the bar showing sport and as the restaurant is long and narrow you get bounced when people walk past.

On 28th Feb 2014, My wife and I had a small gathering of friends and decided to go for a meal in the Peacock Inn. It was my first time here and I was told that the food was good but when I arrived I found the entire establishment was very impressive from the bar staff to the waiting staff. I had ordered as a starter the Prawn Cocktail, main course I had the Sizzling Cajun Stack and for desert I had a Brownie with Baileys ice cream. I high enjoyed every single mouth full as the food was cook to perfection and so tasty. The servings were value for money, the flavours were so intense they leave you feeling a little upset as you sit there looking at a very clean plate. I will be going back to the Peacock Inn Lincoln time and time again to enjoy another wonderful dining experience.

The Peacock Inn .. Do not be fooled or put off by its located surroundings .. for a lovely pub it is. Upon entry you a greeted by very friendly staff and a warm countryish feel .. with a great selection of ale's, Lager's and Cider along with an excellent menu to be sampled.
