I went as it is reputedly the oldest tavern in Lincoln with a good selection of beers and food reasonably priced. The pub is ok but i was disappointed with the service: one lady was pleasant and attentive but the other 2 didn't seem interested in providing good service. I went early evening and it was very quiet, as I wanted to check the pub to have dinner a bit later. In view of the service I finished my drink, paid and didn't come back.

Situated at the back side of the cathedral (rather than on Steep Hill) we made a specific visit as it mentioned real/cask ales. The pub was clean with a lovely atmosphere. They have obviously made an effort to create an outside space, which although small was a great afternoon suntrap. The delicious Harvest Gold didn't disappoint!

First time visiting and enjoyed it, there was a quiz night on so fairly loud and busy inside. Outside seating was available with wall mounted heaters.

A rustic pub in Lincoln with it's own car park. Simple but good food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and an unusual Mango Cider on tap which was lovely.

Always quiet and civilised. Great food, great service and a £1 per game pool table in the back room. What's not to like? We had brie, bacon and cranberry toasties and upgraded to chips for £1. Thick bacon, generous portions - we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! It's one of those pubs that you overlook, but it's not far from the very centr of Lincoln and is definitely worth the short walk!

Situated just on the outskirts of the cathedral. We had booked a table but turned up 1 hour early, which was not a problem. Dogs are welcomed as well. The staff are friendly and relaxed with all the covid protocols in place.The menu had all the traditional pub meals, burger and chips, cod and chips, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and side orders. The portions of the meals are very good and the prices are very reasonable. Would visit again.

First meal out since all the lockdowns, booked a table here, no fuss, good selection of beers and ciders, food was very good, I had the cheese and bacon burger with fries. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Had our nans wake here last week and can't thank the staff enough. We had a private room where we bought our own food and we had a private bar. The staff were very understanding and attentive in a difficult time. The venue itself is also lovely, traditional pub with plenty of parking.

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of food but we ordered a toast and sandwich and were very good, plus fried fries were really good, golden, fried very well and oil it was fresh I suppose. Recommended 👍🏻

Not bad, but poor beer and beer choice for a pub listed in the Good Beer Guide. I had a very poor pint of Tim Taylor Landlord, and there was no buzz or atmosphere.

Popped in for a quiet drink and pleasantly surprised with the selection of ales available. However was disappointed that my husband was automatically given a tankard while I (as a woman) was given a straight glass. Customers should be offered a choice of glass regardless of sex. Lovely beer garden out the back. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful, cosey pub. Friendly staff but not too friendly (in the good way) and dog friendly to the point where we can have them off lead as long as we have them close by and under control. Always a good atmosphere wether busy or quiet and warm inviting atmosphere. Only con is car park is a bit small but that can't be helped

Good friendly pub, have been visiting it on new years eve for a few years and the atmosphere is fantastic, all types of people go there, very mixed ages, good staff, drinks are not expensive. Well run, good live music with local acts.

Called in for an impromptu meal after a trip to Newark. Choice of ales was really good, Welbeck Brewery Kaiser was particularly nice. We ordered the steak and ale pie plus the cheese/bacon burger. Food was well cooked and presented. It was good value for money.

Friendly staff, good range of beverages, live music most weekends and the food served is good value and pretty good overall Has own car park but due to its location on a corner at the top of Lindum hill, can still be a mare when leaving! We had missed this when we were going out as the map directions were not very clear so we made it our last stop. Typical village pub really. It was cosy enough and meals looked good value. Had a selection of real ales. Only stayed for one drink but would probably go back if we were in that area.

Known as one of the oldest pubs in Lincoln. They have a great selection of beer and provide nice food. With bands on every other weekend and good space, plus darts board and pool table. The Adam and Eve is a long supported and very popular bar/venue for the area and people of Lincoln.

This is a nice cosy little pub, located just a few minutes walk from the Lincoln Cathedral. Dogs are allowed inside, staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced and tasty pub grub.
