Lovely little village pub. Great service and beer. Menu was very small but what was produced was amazing! I'd definitely recommend The Black Bull for food and drinks.

Good food, friendly staff. I thought that the veggie selection was not quite as extensive as it used to be but still 5 or 6 choices. The meaty menu was excellent. A very nice pint too.

Good food, and lots of it. Pie was a 'proper' pie with sides and a bottom. Gammon was a 'proper' piece of gammon & came with chilli pineapple salsa... lovely! Friendly staff who smiled & chatted. Parking at back with disabled space and ramp into pub. Nicely kept beer garden.

We were visiting Lincon county show ground for the motor home show. We came across this lovely pub and decided to have tea. The food was beautiful excellent value for money and so tasty. That we came back the next night and plan to do so on Saturday night. Staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit x

We have been back to this very cozy and friendly pub now 5 times. I have brought friends and family and every time had a fabulous meal and everyone has said how nice it is. My partner and I have also been for meals on Wednesdays and Saturdays, last night (13.11.13) we had the steak special (again) and it was exceptional. He said it was first class too.

A lovely village pub, well presented with a welcoming atmosphere and staff who seem to enjoy their jobs. The food is nice, the drinks are nicer (can't beat Coca Cola) and the prices are quite comparable for the service and quality received. There was some confusion about baby- changing facilities, however I have spoken with the manager (a very compassionate and understanding person) who explained that they have a procedure to check the women's toilet and allow fathers in, under supervision, to access the table- I consider this to be very reasonable compromise on limited space. I would return here, if in the area and hungry then it is definitely worth considering.
