Lush pub. Good food, wonderful service and great selection of drinks! Owners are very friendly and accommodating to customers needs and wants. Highly rate the skittle bombs (5x for 12 quid!) Wonderful atmosphere!

Well run pub considering the current Covid situation. The outdoor space is excellent and didn't feel unsafe at anytime. I'm not a big real ale fan but there looked to be a good selection. Saw an excellent covers band there too - Back to the Future. Great mix of songs and genres from across the decades. UPDATE; 29/07/22 Its not changed much since I last posted this. Still a great pub, great atmosphere and friendly service. They have upgraded the venue for better sound for the live bands which made for a better overall sound. And If I think they've now got 1 big cover for the whole of the outside part. Still 5*!

Not the best location in Lincoln, but once you go inside, that does not matter. Wonderful art deco decoration, good choice of ciders and the best value food we have found anywhere. Very friendly staff, and we will be back in the better weather to sit in the surprise garden round the back.

Classic 'dive bar'... Been around for years, often have live music. Staff were great and took effort to ensure the place was clean and wiped down between the different groups sitting outside.

Great pub on the edge of town, very unusual seating. Settees, funky stools and even cinema seats! Good range of ales and very friendly, helpful bar staff There was a steam punk band on when we visited and although not our thing we had a great night and also dropped in again the next night. Just next door to the Premier Inn where we were staying so perfect for a last few hobgoblins and a wobble back

Absolutely love this place, not overly big on the inside and quite often full of old boys but they have a spectacular outside seating area which is huge, catches the sun and currently all seating is sheltered in case it rains, brilliant friendly staff, not a lot of toilets for the size of the pub. The food however looks great and has simple options for drinkers such as burgers and chips with also vegetarian options.

We always used to visit The Jolly Brewer when in Lincoln, with it's quirky layout & relaxed atmosphere. It's now been taken over, with a new name & revamped, losing a lot of it's internal character (with the main bar being opened out into a 'dance space', with dj booth). The beer garden remains, luckily, so there is still somewhere to escape to. The rest of the pub has lost that cosiness, though. Having said that, it's still worth having a drink there.

Nice selection of drinks, something for everyone. Very relaxed pub, if you want to have a pub without a TV showing sports and is more a place for friends to socialise, this is it. Would get 5 stars if all gigs were outdoors - when a band or open mic is indoors it loses a lot of space.

One of the best pubs in Lincoln with the most open-minded clientele. For fans of locals and authentic music. With great food, real ale, jukebox and fab beer garden. No dogs but children friendly until 7pm.

I've always liked this place over the years. A mishmash of Art Deco with modern. Friendly folks and live music. Super large open area at the back (though has large cover if it rains) making it great for a pint in the summer with friends.

I had the red pepper lasagne and the whole dish was amazing. The service was brilliant, it arrived quickly and tasted fresh. I come here regularly to enjoy a drink, and get to listen to rock music, the atmosphere is nice.

Always has a choice of real ales and all kept well. Don't be put of, as the outside does look a bit scruffy. You will be Pleasantly surprised when you go in. The art deco is excellent and the mural in the garden if a must see.
