Gluten free heaven! Best place we’ve ever eaten and everything on the menu is gluten free. No worries about cross contamination, even had gluten free beer and the staff were excellent. Thanks so much, we’ll be back soon.

Highly recommend this gem of a pub. The menu was amazing with so much to choose from especially being Coeliac and vegetarian. The food was cooked to perfection and no worrying about cross-contamination with the whole menu being gluten free. The waiting time for food was very quick. The atmosphere was lovely and the manager was friendly and took time out to chat to us. The prices of the food is very reasonable too. We will definitely be returning.

Wasn’t expecting much as we hadn’t booked anywhere and didn’t know what the pubs or restaurants around here would be like. Lovely outside area, its got alot of potential, think it needs a little TLC outside in kids area. Love the idea of the outside bar. Could be great when it's open at busy times. Bit disappointed with the welcome we received... it was like we were a hinder to have walked in and order a couple of pints. .. when I went back to get a glass of iced water, same again, a sigh , as it was placed in the bar.

Died and went to gluten free heaven!!! Shoutout to The Coeliac Man for posting about this place because I had no idea it existed. Both my mum and I are coeliac so we booked a table for her birthday. Food and service absolutely fantastic. Nicky was great and nothing was too much trouble and the food was just fantastic. I will be working my way through the menu, especially can't wait to try the Sunday lunch!

I visited last month and would recommend it to any coeliac. Usually we're lucky to have one option on the menu but here I was spoiled for choice. I had the moo and blue burger followed by sticky toffee pudding and both were utterly delicious. I'm gutted that I was only travelling through the area so may never come back but its certainly raised the bar for GF offerings at a pub.

After a ride from Nottingham to Lincoln Had a pie recommend by host, Sunday Roast and ribs were outstanding.

Started off with drinks they didnt have mojito as ran out of mint leaves so opted for something else which was just as good. Chose main unfortunately they didn't have that ither so chose something else! Opted for dessert and asked to see specials board only to be told they didn't have one this week due to changing menu for Christmas so chose sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which was delicious. Good service but woudnt recommend as they didn't have anything I asked for.

Been years since I've been in, a lot changed, for the good I must add. Enjoyed a nice couple of pints of Theakston in the bar area. Table service was nice and not hurried at all. Some in there eating and some just drinking, we sat and talked, it wasn't loud or too noisy; I really enjoyed a relaxing hour; I'll be back

It is a nice place, but the meals were a bit expensive for pub grub. No specials for lunch time. The fish was very greasy. The fish finger baguette was just the greasy fish cut up. No plans to return!

Very friendly staff..lovely mac n cheese n fish n chips, but sticky table n dirty condiments let it down tonight. Been a while since my last visit. Took my dad for Sunday lunch. Although we had booked it was still quite a wait for our roast chicken dinners. They were ok but not keen on their stuffing and no roast potatoes on our plates ( although they did apologise and adjusted our bill accordingly). Dad enjoyed his BlackBerry and apple crumble.. I went without a cup of tea as now no teapots given!🤷🏼‍♀️. I like to make my own tea..so was disappointing that only cups of pre made tea available. I was driving so couldn't have an alcoholic drink and i dont drink coffee or fizzy stuff..so not having a cuppa marred it for me..also menu now changed and no lamb shank.. Plenty of parking space though and cheerful friendly staff

We tried here tonight for the first time with the in laws, we were drawn in by their gluten free options as our middle child cannot have gluten. The service was absolutely brilliant, the food was cooked to a very high standard and brought hot and quickly. Not your average pub grub, very bistro/a la carte. Reasonable pricing and very friendly, laid back atmosphere. The covid precautions are better than any I have seen and make you feel very safe. Lots of distancing of tables, name/numbers taken for whole group, temperature checks and a one way system plus full table service. Will definitely be back again.

Turned up without a reservation on a Friday night and were not turned down despite being a busy night. The staff was welcoming and very professional. The food was average and my main observation is that the chips were fried past the recommended stage (hard and some very dark brown) and very salty- I understand it was a busy night but there is no excuse for failing to fry potatoes that are pre-cut, pre-cooked and possibly pre-heated. Complements to the chef for the grilled chicken though as it is the best we have had in a while! The place could do with a little TLC - our table was rather sticky which I understand is not an indication of lack of cleanliness but rather chemical damage. Would we go again..? Well I can think of worse places and I can think of better ones at close proximity which offer similar culinary options so it would have to be a big "maybe".

Great place to meet up with friends for a drink and a meal and even great now they have more seating outside for the summer and heated pods area outside for the winter. Friendly staff nothing to much trouble and will go out their way to make you feel welcome.. Children and dog friendly so can easily pop in for drink or food after a walk. Great food Especially the Sunday lunch always cooked fresh and gravy is to die for..

Went back in yesterday for a quick burger fix with the good lady after we could finally eat in somewhere, food was as good as ever, the owners really have done an outstanding job keeping this place going for what must have been an awful year for them, always friendly, polite and very welcoming and have created a Covid safe environment, will be nipping in more often when I can as these guys really went above and beyond in lockdown. I hope the local community continues to support this awesome pub which is clearly run by folk who care. I've never had a bad meal from this place, if you've not gone before go give it a go, you'll not be disappointed

Just returned from The Lincoln Green where we have had a DELICIOUS lunch enjoyed by 4 generations of our family. The menu has something for everyone, tonnes of choice and felt really safe Covid-wise. Lots of space inside and outside and really accommodating for babies. We chose from both the main and lunchtime menus - everything ordered was homemade and amazing, even down to being asked how well done we wanted to steak on the steak sandwich. Not something you're often asked! A great dining experience after lockdown. We'll be back!!

The drinks were fine for the folks drinking in our party and we had a nice evening, service was good. I don't drink alcohol and the coffee wasn't great, most pubs we go to I am used to a decent filter coffee or cafetiere. The room next door was really noisy whereas room we were in was lovely and quiet so we could chat. Noise from next door spilled over in to our room but guess this is unavoidable. Would definitely visit again maybe just not on a Friday evening and not for coffee

When entering a pub for food the norm is expected but not at the Lincoln green. This place boasts amazing food with an extensive menu served to high standard, a standard that says the chef is proud of what he or she has prepared for you. The staff are simply amazing I had to ask if they were all family they worked so well together and truly gave a feeling of welcome and care. Couple these two things together and that's the Lincoln green. Enjoy

Came here with my two friends and 10month old baby. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and really accommodating sorting room for the pushchair. The food was great and all at great prices and never felt rushed or like we were in the way and were able to take our time and have a good catch up. Will definitely be visiting again more regularly 😃

It was a good meal tonight, the first time we've been. The staff were very welcoming and it was a very relaxed experience. The only thing I didn't like was peppers in the salad, I'd have preferred tomatoes. I couldn't have guessed they'd be there. Anyway, the other thing we thought is that the menu was relatively minimal and if we were to go regularly, we would struggle to find enough choice to keep coming. Value for money was fairly good, approximately £8 per main and £4 pudding. (The banoffee pav wasn't the best with virtually no banana and shop made meringue). I would recommend the food and the service here and we'll be back soon enough.
