Nice Spoons but the beer selection was limited. Free wifi. I had the breakfast muffin for 2.49 which included a free hot drink (with unlimited refills)

Used the app. Easy to order and pay then sit back and relax. Order came quite quickly. Very pleasant service . I just love the half chicken with lemon and herbs and other half loves ham, eggs and chips. With drinks less than £20. Brilliant!

Exactly what it says on the tin. Food and drinks always seem well priced and decent. The finer things of tables being cleared, after service care and general feel more comparable to having to settle for a fizzy drink when it's running low on syrup and is mostly soda.

Normally I would not give this type of place the time of day😝, however the ambience and helpful staff make this place a real joy. Yes the menu is basic and we know there are no real chefs harbouring in the back, sweating over pots and pans, but let's face it , a cheap place to eat with good beers 🍻 in a city center, is all it pretends to be, and that is good. We are regulars here, at least once a week and in between when we can. Just one problem, they seem to get light citrus beers in more than the darker ones, I know it's summer but please can we have beers like tenfifty and xxxb we don't like light ones. Otherwise it's a great pub to meet up with family and have a few beers. Update..... more darker beers have started appearing and i love the new smaller burgers that have been added to the menu

What wonderful staff behind the bar! So friendly and despite all the covid protection screens it was pleasant having a conversation and still had a very welcoming feel. There’s loads of seating suitable for all occasions yet the place still has a spacious atmosphere. You know what you’re getting with this chain, and this one doesn’t disappoint; I’d happy return.

If you want cheep this is the place to go if you want a quiet meal I would go in the morning or on a weekday weekends can get a bit roudy in there even more so if the football is on the food is good and there are a wide range of drinks on offer at the bar if you didn't want to go to the bar they have table service with their own app and free WiFi if you don't have data there is outdoor seating not the best view but separate area for smokers and non smokers all in all a nice place to go at times other times I would stay away 😀

If you're going to a match, at Sincil Bank, and you wasn't born within three miles of Lincoln Cathedral, or if you was, but aren't carrying three forms of identification to prove it, then chances are that you will find your way here that Saturday afternoon... We did, because we had no choice. Swallowing my pride, and biting my tongue, about Tim Martin's obvious motives, and lack of empathy for his staff, during lockdown, we said hello to the door staff, and opened the door as if it belonged to us, and we were in. I'm sure that he must employ some interior designer to recreate art deco cinemas, but I'm not an architect, nor a critic. The important thing is that the staff were friendly and very efficient. What seemed like a crowded bar, and a very long wait, very quickly turned into two refreshing, and reasonably priced pints... Can't complain, but I will. In a perfect World, my money would have gone in a nice person's pocket, if only one of those would let us in. I'd like to think that the staff would rather work for someone nice, because they are all better than their boss.

No salt apparently they can't get hold of it, I did say try a supermarket but they said they weren't allowed to, food was cold with being put on a very cold plate also had finished food and drinks still hadn't arrived. Other than that the toilets were cleaner than the average Spoon's with the locks actually working on the doors and also they had some paper in the holders that hadn't fallen off the wall which I have seen in quite a few Spoon's.

Pretty much what you'd expect from the average Wetherspoons, interior is interestingly decorated and shows much of its former use but other than that it's the standard service, menu and seating. Nothing particularly spectacular about it (other than the exterior lights in the evening) but nothing to complain about either. If you are worried about trying other local pubs then this is probably the place for you, does the trick and does it in a pretty adequate fashion.

Nice theme on the old cinema, if a tad dark on the inside due to low-ish original ceilings in places. Standard Spoons but enjoyable food at great prices. Tricky waiting times at mo for obvious reasons, would be nice if some of the other diners could remember that as staff literally running to keep folk fed and watered.

Generally nice place, history to it due to being a theatre, before it became a Wetherspoons. Food meets the standards across the chain of restaurants. Can't really say much more on food. If you've been to one good Whetherspoons, then you know precisely what the food will be like at all the other good restaurants in their chain.

Quite disappointed really, we've been here many times before the pandemic, with no complaints. However today, with people now starting to go out more and put more money into the local economy you'd think that these businesses would be keen to ensure their customers had a reason to visit and in fact revisit. The ordering system is still App only, which is fine but the app is dreadful, no ability to sub things or even send a note to the chef to omit items... (to save on food waste etc). This morning, the app was showing as no items with Muffins as an ingredient was "in stock", Ok no worries I'll have eggs benedict on bread or toast then... Upon asking at the bar (as the app doesn't have provision for it), the request is met with a blanket no can do... Wierd... The table next to us had a lovely elderly couple, the woman asked for porridge with banana only to be told they didn't have any... Too which she remarked "you didn't have any yesterday either?". These are just 2 examples... I know businesses are struggling, but if you get caught one day without something... Nip down the shop to get some bananas, or Muffins, or at the very least allow the inconvenienced customers to sub an item for goodness sake! You can do better, and will need to do better.

It's a bigger Witherspoon's in a city, so you 'should' know what to expect. It is on three different levels but does cater for wheel chairs. I'm not too sure what makes any Witherspoon's stand out because they are always going to be the supermarket of pubs. At least this one has a larger selection of hand pumped beer than it's closest 'sister pub' in the 'Square Sail'. The service/staff are on a par with most other Weatherspoons and the food is of course the same. This 'Spoons' is on a high street, so.the view isn't a joy but as a weekend starter pub, it's probably towards the bes there is!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the fish and chips that I ordered,some peeps have told me to stay clear of this place but I'd like to disagree with them. I ordered my food at the bar by a pleasant young lady and even had a wee chat with her. food didn't take long to arrive and didn't last long on my plate. I looked at the food being served at other tables and all looked good,so I will return back and try something different. The only negative I see was that used tables were a bit slow to be cleared and wiped down and it wasn't very busy. Apart from that I have the Ritz a very respectable 4 out of 5

We eat here a couple of times a month. There is a good choice of food and many meals come with a free drink. Prices are very reasonable. I have not given it five stars because food us occasionally served at Luke warm temperature and served on cold plates. I always send it back when this happens. Also, staff are slow to clear tables and if they have been cleared they are frequently grubby. On balance, it's fairly good for the price.

It has been a couple of women staff. who refuse eye contact and don't tell you if they are done and you have paid. They just wonder off to serve the next customer. That needs addressing. It has history of being a cinema. There are lots of choice of drinks but over all a good weather spoons.

Standard 'Spoons experience. You know what you're going to get. However they could do with one or two extra staff to make sure tables are cleared and wiped properly. This is a very busy Wetherspoon's at most times, so you'd think employing someone to make sure tables were promptly cleared would make sense. It would also be nice if the tables weren't slightly sticky!!

I'm not usually a Wetherspoon's fan, but on this occasion got persuaded in by my brother-in-law for lunch. I had a Beyond Burger (and was very impressed that they're offering them), while he had a mixed grill. When asked if we wanted sauces, he asked for HP Brown Sauce, to which the waitress apologised and brought a different brand over...only to return a couple of minutes later with actual HP brand Brown Sauce, which she had managed to track down elsewhere in the pub - what a wonderful, and unexpected, level of service!

Ignore the snobbery, this pub has a great selection of drinks and a very laid back, welcoming feel. Close enough to town that it's not a trek, but situated just a little bit away from dead centre of town that contributes to the laid back feeling.

When ordering from the app, my drink arrived within 5 minutes, however after about 25 minutes I had to remind a member of staff about my food order! Admittedly it was lunchtime, however other people that ordered food after me received their food before me - this seems to be a regular occurrence lately whilst visiting various Wetherspoons establishments!

Not the best Wetherspoon's experience. Although this is a somewhat budget chain there are some features that are lacking here. The app service is good, just the drinks service on top was quite slow. Staff are pleasant and the door staff are great at making the place feel secure, although not when they have to be involved in clearing tables. Place is clean enough within reason and prices are decent, however, some issues make this not near the best Wetherspoons I've been to.

A converted cinema, entirely in line with the Wetherspoon's business model. Spacious, clean and has kept the character of the building. Has all the usual attributes - value for money food and drink plus speedy service. Feels like a traditional pub, so if you like that sort of thing, give it a try.

They obviously don't do Spoonies.

The fact that it used to be an Art Deco cinema makes it very special- and the fact that the cinema still exists upstairs!!! Ended up doing some research into the building and came across some interesting things. Staff are always friendly, food is general wetherspoons standard, same with the drinks. It can sometimes be hard to find a private table as it's very busy, but there are a couple of cosy corners tucked away for couples and small groups of friends.

However over the past couple of years I feel they are losing their charm, prices seem to be rising fast and the meals also appear to be suffering on portions.
