Hosts welcoming & friendly. Good choice of food on the menu which should cater for all. Food was excellent & portions of a decent size (2 of the group were unable to eat all on their plates). Prices were good (just under £120 for 4 of us having a couple of drinks each, starters & mains). Another visit is planned & would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxed evening.

A flying visit to our temporary local. Due to COVID, not serving food but we were given a warm welcome and friendly service. It was good to see the pub was busy and it's testament to the popularity during these testing times that it must be a good place. Oh, and the gent's toilets were very clean and modern ~ what a pleasant surprise.

Prompt service in the garden by pleasant helpful staff, pity there's no chef at the moment as they did have a good reputation for Sunday lunches, so take your own picnic and enjoy with a great pint.

Went there for the carvery, food was very good quality. I had the three meat option, worth every penny. Loved the roasted vegetables especially the roast potatoes and the parsnips! Will be coming back on a Sunday again. If you are in the area make a visit to this pub!

My wife and I visited here during our new year holiday. The staff were very friendly and insisted on waiting on us even though we were in the bar. I had a cheeseburger and it was one of the nicest I had eaten in a long time - it wasn’t stodgy or greasy and I could have eaten it again straight after. My wife had a cottage pie which came with its own tray of veg and a pot of gravy - she enjoyed it very much. We will certainly be visiting again.

Went to a group Christmas dinner. 24 of us, tables nicely laid, dishes all served together so that we all ate the same course at the same time. Loads of choice on the menu staff attentive and friendly. Overall a good experience.

Lovely place. We have family in South Scarle and always come here for lunch when we visit. Carvery is lovely with alot of choice. The Yorkshire Puddings could be abit softer, they're more like a crisp than a pudding but otherwise gorgeous.

My wife and I are staying in North Scarle while our house is undergoing a total refurbishment we have been to the Sunday carvery for 5 weeks and will continue to do so until our home is ready to move into. The food is excellent, the staff are great what a great place to eat. In fact we love the White Hart so much we will continue to eat there after we have moved back into our home. David Coulbeck.

We used to go here a lot for the Sunday carvery before Covid...It was the best and the staff very friendly. So we decided to go back last Sunday (27th Feb)..Walked I to the bar ,told to "go through there then"...pointing to the other room..a girl in there pointed to our table and before we got our coats off , was asking what drink we wanted..!! It all felt very rushed and unfriendly...The only good part of the meal was the meat..excellent as before..but the vegetables, mash and roast potatoes were luke warm..the stuffing so hard I couldn't eat it..If the gravy hadn't been hot and warmed things up a bit, we would have returned the meals....So disappointed. It was always a fantastic meal ...Sadly don't think we'll be returning for a while..We live in the West end of Lincoln so not a quick trip..!!The last thing I wanted to do was to write this review. They might have revamped the pub very nice it is too, but they've lost the friendliness sadly.....they need to know..

Sunday carvery is absolutely fantastic! The rest of the menu looks amazing as well so we'll definitely be back. Beautiful decor inside, warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant area and then went through to the bar area and sat in the cosy corner for a drink. Much to my husband delight the football was on the TV! Couldn't have asked for more, highly recommended!!
