This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is cooked to perfection. Quality ingredients and the staff are so helpful. Lovely decor and very good prices including food and drinks. Great place will be going back very soon. The quality and cooking of the steaks are better than those Steakhouse's best steakhouse

Booked in last minute on a Sunday lunchtime on the way back from Skegness. Staff were very welcoming and even though there was only 1 waiter he worked really hard and we didn't have to wait long to be asked what we wanted. Food was really nice and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the Steak and Guinness pie.

Nice atmosphere but there were s few of us and wanted to eat but because they had a table of 9 and a table of 10 booked in they refused our request. We weren't bothered about sitting together or if our food came out at the same time, so would have expected they could cope? Obviously not enough staff. Shame because between us we would have spent at least another couple of hundred quid just on food. We left at 8pm and went elsewhere

I have eaten at the Wishing Well several times now and i have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is excellent. I love the steaks and the pie which is homemade. The staff are very helpful and attentive. I would recommend this pub to anyone for high quality food at reasonable prices

Great quality food with a varied selection & Fair size portions. Good selection of gins and spirits, local and national real ales available but would like to see more Craft beer. Lovely venue, polite attentive staff, plenty of parking. Would definitely visit again

Only stopped for a quick drink but was lovely. . My dog was brought out fresh water with out asking and the staff and customers were all great. . Will go there for a meal next time

Went for a meal to save cooking after a hectic day. We were told Wednesday is steak night, £20 for two steaks off the menu. We ordered two ribeye steaks at 5pm ish, there was only one other table in the restaurant with a family eating, so shouldn't be busy. We were told a short time after ordering that there was only one ribeye steak available! Seems strange as it's steak night. So my husband agreed to have the sirloin. We also had to pay for extras like onion rings tomatoes, mushrooms, hand cut chips. When the meal came, my ribeye steak was very nice but hubbies sirloin was quite tough. No staff were visible, and nobody returned to ask if meal was ok. I gave hubby half of my steak and I tried half of his. It was a bit gristly and most of it went home in a serviette for the dog. My mushroom was large, but full of oil and I mean dripping! Didn't eat that either. We were in a hurry so called for waitress and paid the bill. We did notice on the way out that we were now the only two people there, and the chef and manager were sitting drinking in the bar. Not surprised steak night isn't more popular. Won't be rushing back there anytime soon. Tried to make it look posh, but can't reach the standards required for the prices charged.
