We had our Christmas night out here on Fri 16th Dec 2022. 45 of us. Have to say its one of our best nights. Food was outstanding, service the same. Music was great. Had our party dancing all night. Price of drinks were very reasonable too. Thank you all involved at Joey Orrs for giving our party a fab night all round.

Just been for our works night out for a meal and drinks in orrys, I have been going on Christmas nights out now for 30 years + and paid extortionate prices for what I can can only describe as over priced tripe. Not at orrys the Christmas meal was beautiful, the meat was lovely and all the trimming excellent, service was great , well done orrys you are a little hidden gem xx

First time here for me, five of us went for the Sunday roast, which was fabulous the service was great, the staff were all amazing, all in my company enjoyed themselves, the missus is back tonight with her friends, well done all for looking after us.

Awesome! A hidden gem. Really got a sense that the sisters in charge cared about quality and customer happiness. Food was far far better than expected, a credit to the obvious hard work to all staff. Photos are of Edge Bomb starter and Salmon main course, both delicious. Left feeling good that I had put money in this till as it was so well deserved. Will recommend to all, much better than chain restaurant food. Location not ideal and parking not great, definitely recommend phoning in advance to book.

Joey Orrs is a lovely family run pub and we're going to call it our local as we only live 20 minutes walk away, it reminds me of the days when pubs where a place to chat and relax, loved it.

Once again we were treated like royalty. We've waited, along with everyone else, for the restaurant side to be up and running again (due to lock down). We weren't sorry with the results. Baby shower, 13th April. Had a great day here. Thanks to Joe and all the brilliant staff . The place is a gem. The food was brilliant. Would recommend a visit to everyone, you wont be disappointed. Was amazed by the quality of the food, top restaurants in the city centre don't seem to be able to manage it, but a pub in Walton Vale has it boxed off. Food all home Made and well presented. Staff very friendly and welcoming,and seem passionate about the food. You can see into the kitcken from the dining area, so no surprises. Paid £30 for two mains, one desert,a pint of cider and a gin and ginger. Nice to have somewhere local we can walk home from without having to go into town. Will definitely go back. Nice atmosphere and no rushing to get you out.

Fantastic food. Out of sheer pleasure from the chicken fajita I found myself making noises probably not dissimilar to that what an orangutan makes during its mating ritual. The unpleasent sight and sound of my eating habits was skillfully ignored by the professional staff who also ignored it when they caught me eagerly licking my plate to avoid wasting a dropped bit of a sauce that made me go cross eyed with satisfaction. The only drawback was that my wife enjoyed it too, and with it being only down the road I can now imagine the pub inheriting a large percentage of my less than impressive weekly wage. This is not to say it was expensive - quite the opposite. This is more to discourage the reader from getting married. That was stupid of me as if I hadn't have done so, I could eat at Joey Orrs more often and with even less table manners. It would however be disingenuous to hold the pub responsible for such a thing, however tempting it may be to do so. In all seriousness it was great food and service. Even my parents who love nothing more than to make unpleasant complaints in public were impressed. I would highly recommend the pub.

Went on a Sunday and did not have full menu on offer but instead had roast dinners. Starter was salt and pepper chicken which was delicious and the roast was very good too. Strange irregular portion sizes as one dinner was double the size of the other. Dessert had a sort of deconstructed cheesecake which was strange and a little small and apple crumble which had spong in it, this tasted like a cheap shop bought one but the custard was nice. Staff seemed miserable and preoccupied. Have heard their full menu is excellent so will review again or edit when I have tried it.

Beautifully Sunday roast, like mums made. Tasty. But been back today 10th June was accused of not paying for food the last time I was in. Liz cast aspersions I'm a robber , . said I ran away after having my meal whoops I'm in a mobility scooter. Hey I've known the family for years. The elderly generation were perfect , but liz is a loose cannon. I have never robbed any one in my life. Go for a good roast but watch out for mad liz.
