Too much salt on chips for kid on kid menu. my mum is the fussyiest person in the world and loved the ribs. Would of got a 5* only for the salt on chips and chicken

We were there with a group of 14. The food was delicious but for the price not enough on some plates. The service was very friendly and helpful. Even for the kids the meals were great. Only thing I really didn't like was the huge rock salt which covered the kids chicken strips. I would definitely go again.

Had to organise a funeral at two days notice staff couldn't have been more helpful took all the stress out of a very stressful situation.tea coffee and buffet all provided at very short notice.cant remember name of gentleman who helped us but couldn't have asked for better service young lad behind bar even offered to come in on his day off to help ifshort staffed when heard what it is for.would recommend and do nice food and cocktails too which have sampled on many other occasions

Not bad and the food was really quite nice. The place could really do with a spring clean and a lick of paint here and there as it did feel a bit like a Dockers pub on the dock road that had had a busy boozing night the night before with sticky tables and a bit of a boozy musty smell. The service at first from a young lad was terrible. He acted like a bit stoned or thick to be honest. Then we had a girl serve us who I think was from Austrailia or New Zealand and she couldn't of been more helpful and polite

This was our 1st visit to the Pioneer and it was just a pot of earl grey each 3 cups per pot tea was fresh a biscuit with it was nice service was fast and friendly. The restaurant area was busy and there was a few people enjoying match on one of the 2 big screens time retrain stopped us eating but the menu Spanish and Greek mains and extensive breakfast menu looked lovely not expensive will definitely be back.

No other place in Crosby like it!! Best spot! Great place for occasions, been here a number of times for birthdays christenings etc. Food is spot on in the restaurant as is the tapas in the bar if your looking for a quick bite and a few drinks wth a small crowd. Great classy bar & restaurant with a nice comfortable interior and fantastic atmosphere. Love this little Crosby gem always going to be one of my favourite top spots in Liverpool!

Very nice breakfast made with good quality ingredients. The coffee was also good and that can be a deal breaker for me! Finally, the staff were pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. Recommended.

Stopped in for a quick lunch! Service was good and staff friendly however the food was really nothing special but the surrounding were pleasant if not starting to look a bit dated. Maybe nicer if going there during the evening! Will try again sometime.

Me and the sis went for the breakfast here. Sis had the full English while I had a ham & cheese omelette. Both arrived in good time and were hot & gorgeous. I just wish that they employed a coffee refill system for plain black coffee, as I got a small amount and it wasn't hot hot if you know what I mean.

Went recently, nice food when it came, took forever to order, a hour and a half before got food, way to long to wait, took dessert home, we chose £17.95 for 2 courses menu, overpriced for what we got, nice waiting on staff, God knows what was going on in the kitchen!
