Went here on a whim after a meal nearby, and was absolutely blown away. Was greeted by polite, sophisticated staff, shown to our seats and offered to have our coats taken. The whiskey menu was impressively extensive and the fact they lit up …

This place is such a treat. Such opulence, decadence and luxury. The food is an experience not to be missed, I honestly don't know why more people aren't eating here because our meal was truly exquisite. The drinks, wow. We had a couple of cocktails, a few whiskys and maybe a rum or two. The drinks menu is extensive. There is something to drink for every taste. And then there is the live music. Wow. I'm not going to lie, but you certainly pay for this level of class. However for me, its more than worth it. I honestly couldn't fault the night. I will say that you need to book in advance as the chance of being able to walk in from the street is pretty much 0. A night here is an evening you won't regret.

I was there last week with my partner celebrating his birthday and our anniversary. James was knowledgeable, friendly and personable, I can say wholeheartedly, we have never received such incredible customer service. We opted for the Churchill tasting experience and it was worth every penny and then some. The whisky list is mind-blowing, the potatoes and chicken skewers that were included still have me drooling, and the overall ambience of the place is just beautiful. Thank you so much James for such a wonderful experience, if we're ever back in Liverpool, we will definitely book another experience!

Wonderful service even on a busy night! Booked in for my partners birthday in the non smoking lounge and the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome! Food and drink was wonderful, costs a lot but you're paying for quality flavours, service and overall experience. Victoria Sharpe was on the piano when we visited and she handed out a song menu that let you text her requests, she was wonderful too!

I went for My birthday to relax and have a nice cocktail and my experience was amazing, we got greeted by a young guy I believe his name is John if I remember correctly, he was very charming and polite. We enjoyed our evening having very nice cocktails (Martinis were amazing) and listening to live music, amazing singers aswell.
Very good experience, I love to create nice memories and this is a good place to do it. Very elegant and fancy, the prices are very good for a pub of this style.
I'm very satisfied, totally recommend!.

A nice dark subterranean haven in central Liverpool with an enormous selection of whiskies ranging from £6.50 per glass to £700!! And there's a cigar room with humidor. The only thing I can say that let it down was the sticky floors. All they need to do is mop it before opening each day. Otherwise I would have given five stars.

Great experience!!! A unique venue to visit.
Food was tasty and well presented. I recommend the seared duck breast.
Cigar lounge is cosy and has a really awesome vibe and atmosphere. Great to sip whisky and sample cigars. There is a massive variety of cigars and whisky to choose from.
Staff are very knowledgeable on both the cigars and whisky. They are also friendly and helpful.
A cigar, pipe and whiskey shop is next door.
Moorfields train station is seconds away.

Jon is a credit to your establishment. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and creates an additional experience to make you feel like you're the only table in lounge. His knowledge goes above and beyond and provides you with a fantastic background and understanding to what you are ordering.
Victoria creates a cosy but classy vibe as an outstanding pianist. Christie is a very warm and talented bartender who made us some of the nicest cocktails we have had in a long time.
Highly reccomend this place for a relaxed evening.

Me and my husband have been threatening to try this place for as long as i can remember. On Monday we actually did. What can i say, it was an amazing experience. The ambiance, the choices of quality liquor and cigars blew us away. Our attendant was called Joe. He was such a lovely young man. He knew his stuff and was so helpful. He made our experience that much better with the service we received from him. Can’t thank him enough. Will definitely go back again soon. And just have to add that the smell from the kitchen was phenomenal so I’m looking forward to trying some food in the near future.

Loved this place. The pianist and singer were great and took requests. The drinks were on the pricier side but we knew that from the website and for a special occasion it was perfect and the whiskey choice was huge. We didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that.
