I hired the upstairs area for a family funeral reception which went very well, many thanks to Jen and D for their help in making sure we had all we needed.

A very informative & friendly barman named Mark who discussed the real ales & mentioned one brewed at your own Brewery in Bootle..gave me a little taste of 2 types..The Oakham beer is delicious & I liked the Dockers ale too..Would definitely spend a day in Stamps..It has my Stamp Mark of approval..Regards also Mark. Really traditional (but very small!!) pub, lots of beers and, ales. Empty for a Friday afternoon but nice place to have a quiet drink away from the chain pubs and shops. I'm sure it would be busy later as won't take many people to fill it up.

Had a good time doing karaoke here on a Friday night. Good atmosphere and polite staff. I'm not sure what the connection/affiliation is with Stamps Too, however the cask beer selection in the latter is far superior. That would be my only critique. Otherwise a lively and enjoyable venue.

Stamps is a small friendly atmospheric pub with live entertainment; and boasts a small selection of real ales, consisting of some locally brewed ales and some commercially brewed; along with the usual brands of wines and spirits. Stamps was originally a post office, hence the name. The property was sold and then converted into a small local micro pub. Here at Stamps there is something going on every day from Quiz nights, Folk Music nights, Ukulele nights; to top payed live bands and local talents for the weekends; all maintained within a friendly secure atmosphere. Stamps is situated close to the main shopping area within the Crosby Moor Lane district and is well connected via public transport by the bus terminus close by.

Excellent bar. Old fashioned (in a good way!). They have an eclectic mix of bands on and although it's a small bar, it works. Really friendly staff - if you are looking for a pub in Crosby, this is the one I would choose.

This was my first time in Stamps. Based in a former post office, it was a cosy place for a quiet drink. They had a range of real ales. I forgot the name of the beer I had, but it was delicious and would have had more than 2 pints, if I didn't have a table booking at a nearby Thai restaurant. Nice.

I popped in for a quick drink after work. Although the inside has a nice ambiencez I chose to sit on the roof terrace because I was so hot. I ordered my drink when I entered and then went upstairs. My drink was brought up for me along with the card payment machine. Stamps brew their own beers although they don't produce any non alcoholic beers. I drunk a bottle of Erdinger Alkoholfrei.

A fantastic modern bar that succumbs to the tyranny of hoppy ales. Stamps was the first modem type real ale and beer bar in Crosby that helped revitalise the village (town centre). A friendly place, supports live music and you can watch the world go by. Unfortunately - as a fan of traditional British real ale ('bitter') award winning Stamps subscribes to the tyranny of hoppy, over hoppy, modern US / Aus style pale, and golden ales. On my recent visit 6 handpumps with 5 excessively hoppy craft or locale or small brewery beers, one hoppy. If you're a fan of traditional beer I recommend having a good pint of imported European lager here with your craft beer and other friends, admire the inspired conversion of the former Crown Post Office, and then walk across the village to an old pub that sells traditional real ale.

Only been here a couple of times. Its ok but small, can imagine it to be quite a squeeze when bands are on. Prefer the one in South rd, now the Waterpudlian.
