We always start our nights out here. Great atmosphere, friendly people and ALWAYS on a high ready for the evening ahead. My friend and I only travel to Liverpool twice a year but these people feel like old friends.

Lovely bar on the inside with seating area outside and a range of ales. The only down fall is the black door at side of entrance looks out of place for the pub. Apart from that is nice and cozy.

I always pass sweeneys when shoppin it always seems busy.so yestaday me and my hubby decided to give it a whirl.well im glad i did,because we both enjoyed ourselves.people were so nice .music was good aswell.will definately be going back there

After a stroll around fresh fields, and the train back to liverpool. Ended up calling in sweeneys bar, what a great afternoon, friendly staff, lovely customers and plenty of music and karaoke songs. Never been in here before, always passed when Im in town and heard the music. But I'll definitely not pass by again without stopping in for a drink. Thanks for a lovely afternoon !

I love the water in front of this bar.. This afternoon I was so excited to see children playing in the water.. It's in a very good sight.. It's the kind of place you want to sit and look around.. Beautiful atmosphere...it's quite a busy area.. Each time I passed through there, it's always busy.. I was surprised to see the water today, I have always walked through that place without noticing the water.. I saw people admiring and taking pictures of the water today,it's beautiful the way it runs up and comes down then run up again..
