Love this place me and my feller go there every Saturday for our brekkie lovely place and staff good is always hot no complaints here

What a lovely place for a treat 😍 my hubby took me for a meal and wow the building itself is beautiful and they have kept the decor in keeping with the age of the building and can't wait to go back when they have their real cowl fire lit so going to make a point of ringing and checking with them. The food was great value and delicious and so much I had to bring some of mine home and they didn't have a couple of things we asked for like peppercorn sauce which for me steak isn't the same without it but that couldn't be helped and the lovely lady who was the manager I think went out of her way to explain all the other options which was lovely of her so yes everyone this place is definitely worth a visit 😁😋😛😜😍😘

There are not many places in Huyton that serve real ale, so hats off to Wetherspoons for hanging in there. For Spoons fans it has all the usual frills, well kept but randomly chosen real ale an excellent and wide range of other drinks, decent pub food without being exceptional, all at below usual market cost. Their fish and chips is the least slimy cod and vaguely crispy chips of all the Spoons around. This one has very little car parking space, but plenty of parking nearby for either a small cost or a small hike.

A decent sized Wetherspoon pub with decent service. Inside is light and airy with big windows to see outside and tables positioned to suit. The usual menu can be found here with a good selection of snacks, meals, soft drinks wines, spirits and ales. The staff were really friendly there were lots of signs and posters informing guests of the track and trace and other Covid-19 procedures. Seating areas were screened for social distancing and adequate hand sanitation was available.

Depending on day you visit. Most of time they are busy but if you go earlier in the evening I know that the staff are helpful, food is great in quality. I know that I have tried their set day menus and have found that no matter how you like your food cooked this place is one of my haunts when I go out with a friend to have time to just talk. Perfect for most people everyone is made to feel special.

I visited here after a long bike ride from netherton (16 kilometers!) for a well deserved bottle of beer. Unfortunately they didn't have my preferred none alcoholic beer and I wasn't about to lower my standards to one of the mass produced bottles of urine that they sell so settled for a bottle of Admans Ghostship 0.5%. Whilst the beer was pedestrian (Wetherspoons added this when they withdrew the popular Erdinger alkoholfree due to the chief executives Brexit drive which was far superior. I'm glad to see that Erdinger alkoholfree is back in stock, just not at bakers brewery when I visited. The pub is over the road from a main shopping area (I had business there which is why I stopped here) and 2 minutes from huyton railway station so well placed for a quick bite to eat or a drink after shopping or before catching a train.

When we got there, we picked up a couple of menus & noticed they were making a big deal about their new range of pizzas. However when we came to order they said they hadn't got any & rarely do have any. It would have been nice to put a sign up given they were so heavily promoting them. The staff were fairly indifferent - the concept of attaching table numbers to orders seems to elude them as every time food is brought out, the staff wander around aimlessly trying to find where it belongs. They seemed rather understaffed as there was no-one washing the glasses - one of the staff was going round collecting glasses in between serving food, but it didn't appear to occur to her to put a few in the dishwasher. Clearly she believed this to be somebody else's problem, as she continued to pile more and more on less and less space. This inevitably led to a stack of glasses falling on the floor and smashing - that too became someone else's problem. The food was passable but not particularly enthralling - especially when I had set my mind on a pizza. I'll give the place another go at some point to see if it can redeem itself, but on the basis of this visit, I can only rate it as average.

Decent pub food at decent price. Accommodating to slight changes in order as I prefer baked potato instead of chips and no dressings etc. Reasonably quick service and polite staff. Just a little advice, book a table as they don't always have space .

This place is a Wetherspoons. Excellent value for food. Parking can be an issue as very limited space. However just across the road is a car park which is cheap enough. Overall a excellent place to meet friends and family and catch up.

The staff make a good pub and this is a very good pub. Holly is very effective and effecient who is always on top of the game, running tje bar like a swiss watch. The rest of the staff are also very welcoming which makes this a great place to relax and take a minute. Emily the latest recruit seems to have slotted right in with a beaming smile and friendly outlook. Dave is a very genial host who sums up a landlord in the proper sense of the word. Well worth a visit or ten.
