Had a lovely meal there last night after coming back from my holiday not too expensive and all very hot. We also had a kids meal again excellent only thing I would say was it was rather large for our 4yr old but that's not a bad thing

Amazing service. My parents have been going here for years and the staff have treated them like friends. Friendly staff, great decor and atmosphere! My parents come every Sunday for the roast dinners, clearly they must love the food to keep going. Too the staff, thanks again for the friendly service you have given my parents for the many years they have been coming.

Dog friendly pub that serves food and drink at good prices. Lots of events throughout the week such as music and quizzes. It's a lot bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Friendly staff and dartboard in the food area too.

Went to Derby Saturday afternoon. What a gem of a pub,great friendly atmosphere. This is my local now.We looked at the menu and the chef,Steve came over with his recommendations. Garlic mushrooms and Korea chicken. Unbelievable, restraunt quality.

First time going here it's a hidden gem spotless inside bar staff expecially Jane was very welcoming food was lovely every thing about it was lovely Deffo going back. Even the locals were friendly and made us feel at home

Always impressed with the price and quality of the food. The chef not only cooks the food but brings it to your table. Not a bad selection of beers but would like to see more real ales available. There are some great deals on the food throughout the week.

Pub lighting needs rethinking in the eating area, it was very dark which made it lack atmosphere. The music playlist wasn't appropriate for a Sunday afternoon lunch time in a traditional village pub. Sunday lunch was steaming hot and delicious.

There are sometimes when your local pub just hits the spot - clean, bright, welcoming and with a friendly mix of folk stacking up at the bar and Paddock. All in all a great combo for locals and anyone visiting nearby places of interest. Well done xxx

My grandparents used to live close by so remember it when it was a smoky old local. Its changed a lot since I was a kid and now has a good food menu. Still feels like a local pub though. Def worth a visit

The guy in the glasses who served the food was really nice and professional but the young lady serving the drinks was very surly. I had the gammon which was fantastic, lots of it and very tasty. The regulars where very welcoming.

Had great night on Friday brilliant guitarist singer who is also the chef! Went there again today for a Sunday roast , well the chef must be multi talented as the rooast dinner was gorgeous my daughter said best roast she's had in years! Decor lovely and lovely staff.

Great refurbishment - warm, clean, welcoming, somewhere to sit down and hear yourself speak (rare in some of the other Woolton pubs!). Well kept cask ale. Will be visiting again soon.
