Brilliant bar with such a friendly atmosphere. Local upcoming singers performing most Friday and Saturday nights. Brilliant selection of drinks for you to try - your usual selections and also a variety that you won't get elsewhere. Owner, Ed, makes you feel very welcome. Also it's dog friendly, so bring your dog along to meet resident dog, Boo. Would definitely recommend.

Cracking little pub. Lovely selection of beers at reasonable prices. A Full Circle IPA on draft was most welcome. Good music in the background but you can hear each other speak. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Loved the ale. Pick of the bunch was Pentrich, Blue Sky Thinking. Probably the best pint I've had this year. On my last two visits (both Saturday afternoon) pub packed, late football on TV. Both times we were plagued by screaming kids and I mean babies Babies don't like the pub they want to leave soon after they arrive. Take them to the park. Pubs are no places for very young kids. Loads of punters effing at the telly.

I've been to Trap and Hatch on numerous occasions and it's always a fantastic bar to visit. They have a fantastic choice of bottled beers and an ever changing draught selection with a couple of regulars always on. Staff are very friendly and get to know their customers without being intrusive and everybody loves Boo the dog there. Tucked further down south road from the other bars, but it's worth heading down there for a nice evening of some lovely beers!

A pleasant modern 'craft beer' bar with a friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, a good range of beer to suit all tastes (mostly very modern but also traditional), other drinks, & prices not too bad. Will definitely visit again. South Road and nearby has an excellent range of traditional and modern pubs and bars and restaurants to visit.

Fantastic micro pub 👌👌 me and my mate stumbled across this place while looking for a cab to get home but we ended up staying out another 2 hours untill the pub closed haha i couldnt resist the beer in this place it was brilliant. Exellent craft ale at a fair price chilled atmosphere and the staff are great people i highly reccomend this place i will be coming again 👍

Fantastic bar with a brilliant cosy vibe. This is the best place to visit in the Crosby area for a quiet drink and the staff are extremely welcoming to all. I would highly recommend anyone to go try their great selection of drinks.

Tremendous independent local in the heart of Waterloo. Accessible for trains and buses, and a mere stones throw from the beach. A vast range of cask, craft keg, craft bottles and bag in box ciders. Made that little bit more intimate by the lovely, knowledgeable and industry wise staff.

Small snug pub with a walm friendly atmosphere. With one or two real ales alongside some commercial beers. If traveling there by car, the Trap is situated on South road, a main road, with no parking adjecient and all the side roads are residential parking only. If you need to take the car then you would have to park your car within a 5 minutes walk close by at a pay and display car park next to the local library. Or you could use local transport. The buses and trains stop at South road Waterloo.

This is my regular haunt, great bar staff, excellent selection of ales from both bottles and cask (mostly of premium strength), has unobtrusive live music occasionally and when quiet the bar staff have a selection of board games and retro consoles to play on
