Absolutely lovely, starters were huge, we asked for 'doggie bags'
Service was perfect and food amazing. Lovely family run friendly pub!

Enjoyed a meal with friends. Plenty of choice on the menu. Opted for fish and chips, it was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere also.

Food was quality pub grub and staff were friendly and attentive. The pub now has a Gluten Free menu which my wife was very pleased with.

This is a lovely, warm, welcoming restaurant with really friendly staff. The food is delicious and plentiful as is obvious from the pictures! I would definitely reccommend this place for a nice family meal or a meal for 2. Will definitely be back again!

Have eaten in Bkack Bull many times and have always been very happy with the service and the food always great. Was in in Saturday evening with family from down south, and was very disappointed with my food (Steak Pie) I requested potatoes onstead if chips and they were more than happy to obliged. When my meal came there was more than enough potatoes to feed 2 people (a bit off putting) pastry was flat and extremely dry and most of the meat was hard and inedible (couldn't get a fork into some pieces), tasted as if it had been kept warm for quite some time. Only good thing was that when I complained my pie was deducted from my bill. Will visit again but not for a while.

Good wee pub with food, only gripe, went on a Saturday night with the wife for a meal, the table was in a walk way , with crowds of people , sitting drinking in the restaurant side , not eating, and banging into our table going to the bar, would have gave a five star review, , if not for this, was disappointed that the restaurant side opens up to bar , before the restaurant has , closed
