A great restaurant located right next to central court shopping mall (2min walk from Wimbledon station). Great interiors and atmosphere - very good for conversation. The food is good and fairly priced. The drink is okay - I was expecting the juice to be freshly made, but it came in a bottle. We each had one drink and one main dish for lunch. The price person is £22, including service.

Great Restaurant that I have visited many times. We had a lovely brunch here before attending the Wimbledon tennis champs. Good Customer service but the app currently in use can be a little slow to get a group order put through. Great coffee and good vegetarian options too- i had an avocado/chilli/lime on sourdough toast.

Came for brunch earlier today, wasn’t sure where to go in Wimbledon so had a quick search and thought this place looked nice. Love the space, looks like it’ll be great for summer evening drinks! I got a house breakfast which was delicious, and good portion. Also didn’t seem greasy, mushrooms with vinegar were amazing. Just a really great breakfast. My partner had the feta, chilli and lime aubergine on toast which she also enjoyed. Great stuff!

We came here recently as a group of 4 girls for dinner, however, we were not overly impressed. Most of us enjoyed our food, however I thought my steak and chips were luke warm. I wasn’t given a steak knife either. The service was poor as we were often left waiting a long time for drinks. The place was pretty empty but the server rarely came over to us to see if we needed more drinks. The menu is far too pricey for what it’s worth. I’m a local and unlikely to return.

I really like this venue, but there’s a but. For background I’ve only ever been here for drinks previously. The bar staff are friendly and it’s a nice venue in the summer as it is bright, airy and has a nice terrace (albeit overlooking the bus stops). However, last night I ate there for the first time and not only was the food served cold, but my chicken kimchi salad was served without chicken, inedible pal choi, and what resembled a congealed risotto. I was with someone that didn’t want me to make a fuss, so the team had no chance to rectify it on the night. But, I would say, treat this venue as a good drinks location and find somewhere else to eat.

Such a lovely place, I just ordered wild mushroom pappardelle pasta, the truffle oil make it delicious, we just ate at the terrace which was really good due to the sunny day in our lovely Wimbledon. The chocolate mousse was super tasty! We felt well attended by Martha, We will come back soon!!

This is such a lovely place, with a rooftop terrace. Their food is really very nice and there cocktails look lovely. You have to download an app, sign up, and add your card details to be able to order, might be worth doing this before you come as it takes some time and eats into your booking slot. Overall, love this place and will come back, as its so beautiful and has great views.

We pre-booked a table for 4 people on 09/04/22, a two hour slot. For a special occassion (1st Anniversary), a booth was given (though not garenteed) as asked for in the telephone booking, which pleased us greatly! 😀 When we arrived we were seen to our table by manager Chris. We order drinks, including shots & coffee, starters, mains & desserts! Throughout our entire meal, we felt welcomed & looked after! Chris has a great knowledge of F&B, which pleased my partner, as he comes from a hospitality background, having worked in some of the top London Hotels (Conrad St James's park), casino's (The Ritz), and Fortnum & Mason, before he took retirement! Ambiance: Calm, relaxed, unrushed, a beautiful setting. Food: was excellent, full of flavour, and presented well. (My only complaint, is that my Seabass didn't arrive with crispy skin facing up) .. so something to look at, maybe! Staff: Chris & his team, were happy, exceeded expectations, and made our dining experience @ 601 Queen's Road Wimbledon, one to remember! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK TO DINE AGAIN SOON!

Great venue. The staff was very nice and helpful. There are a lot of different areas with different atmosphere and you can private a little part for you and your friends. The menu was good with diverse choices. The food was really good. The drinks are quite expensive though so bear that in mind if you want to have a drink all day moment! Will definitely go back in summer to enjoy the coupole and the terrasse.

Great hidden gem! If you can call it that. I've been passed this restaurant so many times, and the menus are hidden behind a palm tree (or I think it was a palm tree). Food was great, especially the Breakfast Brioche! Although Egg Benedict was equally as nice, but there are many places that makes great Egg Benedict's. Cost is also very reasonable too. Just make sure you call up in advance to make a reservation or you won't find a empty table. Feedback would be that they need to hire one or two staff, they were way too bus which meant they were under pressure. Still I'd go there whenever I can! Very recommended! FYI they give you cucumber water as soon as you sit down, it splits peoples opinion and would have been better if they told us that it was cucumber water.

Great food, awful service. Had brunch on Sunday and there were loads of seats inside and outside. I asked about vegan options and I wish the waiter would ask the chef rather than guess. Tried curry and lentil salad and both were very good, falafel was great. Service on the other hand was not great, really slow and having to wave at waiters for everything. Food took over 35 minutes :/

We hosted a large Christmas party a few years and everyone had a great time. Plenty of food and drink options at really reasonable prices for everyone. We had a separate area and what seemed like several dedicated staff helping bring food/drinks in a steady flow. The food was delicious ( 4 🌟 for food ), but the service is very bad, we waited exactly 1 hour for the waiter to bring the food menu and when he came he said that the kitchen would close in 30 minutes and that we would only have 30 minutes to order, after dinner, which was very good, he already warned us that the bar would be closing in 30 minutes, so we decided to ask for the bill, because in the middle of Valentine's day they practically kicked us out of the restaurant.

Brilliant place. Surprised to find this gem in a suburban location. Over numerous visits we have found the Service to be really good. Surprisingly given the vibe they are very welcoming of kids and have some great spaces for families. Our go to place in Wimbledon now for a variety of occasions. UPDATE April 2022: there’s been some staff turnover here in recent months. We went recently and the service was not great. Also the quality of coffee has not been great on recent visits. Hence updating to 4 stars.

Great bottomless brunch! After reading some pretty bad reviews we weren't sure what to expect but it did not disappoint! The mojitos were delicious and drinks filled up very promptly. Food was great too and good sized portions. Our waitress Marta was absolutely brilliant!

Went to 601 queen’s rd terrace for my fiancé’s birthday. Talked to the staff earlier to make sure everything would have been nice for our dinner and it was. Food was delicious, there wasn’t a thing we didn’t like. The service was excellent, we had the chance to be served by Marta (hope I spelled it right, if not I’m sorry), which I reckon is part of the management team, and she really spoiled us, gave us attention when needed, smiley and super friendly. She really gave us one of the best customer service we ever have had! Amazing experience, really happy about it! Highly recommend! And if you get the chance to be served by the lovely Marta then surely you’ll leave satisfied. Thank again guys!

Nice setting and decent food but, as others have said, the table staff come across like they don't particularly want you to be there. We ordered more drinks 45 minutes before closing time and they looked like we were ruining their night. The drinks arrived with a sort of stern "these are the last ones" warning as if we'd been lucky to get them. Somebody politely asked for more tap water and were flatly ignored; quite awkward and hostile. Service was competent and quick, but not friendly at all.

I love this bar and couple wait to get back and meet a friend after lockdown. Its still wonderful but only 3 stars because the greeting at the entrance was a bit harsh! I know that post-lockdown places have to be careful/safe but when we entered the lady told me I had to download their App and she wouldn't let me go up without having downloaded it and watched me do it!! She said we couldn't order without it (which would discriminate against people without a smartphone). Anyway harried into downloading it we went upstairs and I asked the waiter if we could order a bottle of bubbles without the app and he was lovely and said yes so no app needed despite the rather Gestapo approach on entry which out a bit of a damper on 2 very excited punters who had waited months to come back Totally understand safety etc etc but they need to be a bit more flexible and user friendly as other places seem to manage the balance a bit better. The staff upstairs, by the way were lovely so no complaints there.

Love this venue. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great place to go for a drink and for food. Drinks are pretty expensive however and a lot of areas appear to be reserved when we visit. We had our 10 year Anniversary celebration here and it was amazing, we had a great party! I even left a bottle of Champagne behind and they held it for me to collect the next day! In the evenings with the ceiling lights on, this place is amazing and it has a roof garden area which overlooks Wimbledon Centre Court. Highly recommended if you are in Wimbledon and looking for a good time.

Had lunch with friends from New Zealand and once we had got over the Hello's we looked at the menu ,pleasant surprise of the options . two of the 601 burgers which were presented very well and tasted even better. This place is adjacent to Wimbledon station entrance. I enjoy going to this place once a week to have a breakfast and coffee. I have been trying a few veggie options of the menu (avo feta on sourdough toast & breakfast brioche) and it was nice and tasty. The coffee is usually really good.. being myself a barista and I admit being a picky coffee drinker. I like going to a place where the coffee taste will be the same everyday and I found that sometimes it lacks a little this consistency. However I recommend you to go and try this place! The room is a great area with plenty of sits with small and large tables. There is a good size terrace to enjoy the sunny days of the year.

I am still drawn to this restaurant & bar: it is an upscale place and it has a lovely bar. the food is very good and the drinks are very good the cocktails are especially nice my only critique would be it does get quite loud in the evening when the DJ arrives but for most people it's a great place to gather in the centre of Wimbledon for a quiet chat and some food and drinks it has an outside balcony which is a wonderful place to view the centre of Wimbledon and it does have a romantic feel to it so it is a great place for couples to go but it can accommodate families and larger groups I would say the maximum number of people that would feel comfortable served there would be about 12 anything more and I would think they don't have the ability to seat you at a single table

Unfriendly welcome when you arrive, popped in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon and was made to wait downstairs for the "receptionist" to radio upstairs, before they allow you in for a drink. Multiple staff members acting as additional gatekeepers as you make your way in as well. Possibly they are trying to make it seem more exclusive, but I found it unwelcoming. The interior looked very modern, light and open, and the bar seemed to carry a good selection of lagers, but I didn't stay for a drink after the frosty reception. Might try again, but doesn't feel like a place for a casual drink, the Alexandra is far better suited for that.

The place looks nice but is so noisy it is impossible to discuss with any other person at the table than the one next to you or just opposite, and certainly not both of them. My food was fine, but another person had to pay 10 pounds for a plate of salad leaves with a few croutons and 2 slides of bacon..... The personnel was very nice.

This is my favourite local bar terrace and every time I am going there we are served from the coolest bubbly personality of Lumi , every time she is very welcoming and my favourite waitress... 5 stars for a beautiful interior (bright, cosy, stylish), great selection of drinks including cocktails; 4 stars for food (beautifully presented but a bit plain taste wise) and service (thibgs missing from our order + staff kept forgetting our requests, ie water, ashtray, etc.). Was impressed with their matcha martini. Overall good experience and would come back again, hoping aforementioned things will be improved. Happy to have such local place anyway!

Probably the best venue in Wimbledon for a few drinks with friends. Good cocktail and drinks selection, also does food which isn't bad. Service can sometimes be a bit slow or patchy. Has an outside terrace with heaters and the inside is stylish without being pretentious

Booked a table for a reunion lunch with the fam. Markets itself as cosy/casual but I think that means something different in SW than it does in NW London, I felt a little underdressed in jeans. But maybe that was partly because my family is generally a well-turned out bunch. The food was great, everybody found something they liked on the Menu and wine list. If I lived closer I'd go there again.

We sat next to a high partitioning wall and felt very awkward having people lean over all evening, witnessed some poor lady get accidentally covered in a drink from the wall, really should be some kind of barrier up there to stop that from happening.

If you like me, mourned the loss of the Terrace Bar after 20 odd years of service in Wimbledon, then be glad to learn that it is back as 601 Queens Road. I recognise some of the staff which is great news as they made the place what it is. Rebooted, redecorated and refreshed the early signs are good with a good drinks menu and quality food. This promises to quickly take back the position it richly deserves as the bar with a view, vibrance and quality about it.

A firm favourite for me whenever I'm in this neck of the woods, 601 serves Wimbledon a smorgasbord of culinary treats and volleys up with banging cocktails and plonk, in a grand architectural glass and steel rotunda that sits atop the high street with a wraparound balcony. Aced it.
