First time here. Good range of wine and beer. They have Chenin Blanc which makes me happy 😂. Very good/large garden area. Stage with live band space (obviously in normal times). Come visit! Huge potential once the Elizabeth Line eventually opens but definitely worth a visit 😊😊

This pub is a hidden treasure. Lovely, helpful people behind the bar. Anna is lovely and Adam runs a tight ship. Pub used to be full of idiot's but thankfully these have been wedded out now. Its a lovely place to past the time and the entertainment and large beer garden are great. Only down side is they have recently had delivery problems leaving a shortage of the popular beers but guess that's affecting all commercial estableme due to Covid and drivers not being paid enough. Looking forward to my next visit. Steve and Diana

Wow - what a change they've made to this place! Good beer on tap (could do with more ale though - maybe something from our local Bexley Brewery?), good tunes, great garden with a huge awning and a table tennis table. Oh and did I say they do good food? The calzone was great in particular.

Lovely pub with a ‘local’ feel. We drove down from Scotland to stay on the near by Abbey Wood campsite and came here for a well earned evening pizza after 10 hours of driving. The pizzas were lovely, and the beer (Neck Oil) was served fast and tasted well kept. We had a slight hiccup in that our pizzas came out at different times, however the manager was extremely apologetic and couldn’t have been more helpful. Seriously recommend for a decent pint and pub grub.

Wow, what a transformation. There are so many young couples moving to Abbey Wood, yet local resistance to modernisation and nimbyism have kept the highstreet stuck in 90s a timewarp that has resulted in a failure to monetise these arrivals. I hope this place makes a fortune, as it may instigate some of the waves of investment and economic activity that Woolwich has experienced in the last two years. The pizza, fairy lights, music, ping pong, deck chairs, gnomes - all of it - are spot on in turning what was a dingy pub into an enviable weekend experience. Congratulations and please keep innovating - we will be back.

After a long needed revamp the Abbey Arms looks appealing and welcoming its a mix of old English pub with a hip new feel to it with a front garden and back garden,. It is nicely placed right next to the new Abbey Wood train station so now it's Even easier to get off the train to have a drink after work the food is amazing it's a bit pricey but it's worth every penny the Abbey Arms has a really nice atmosphere with lovely lighting The staff are polite and really helpful and it was nice to see gender neutral toilets inside the bar

Staff friendly and helpful. The lamb we were served was NOT leg, it was very fatty and pink as shoulder is and was marbeled with fat. Very disappointing.

What a venue,it has been my pleasure to visit such a wonderful pub. The staff are great,the ambience is amazing,the locality is phenomenal literally minutes from a great looking Rail Staion Abbey Wood which goes direct to London Bridge. Had a lovely lunch and then started the afternoon. The margarita pizza was absolutely delicious more so than you e would expect from a standard margarita. Their drinks were fairly priced. Their decor and enormous garden area is fantastic.

I really want to like this place and for the most part it's ok. However, they've been showing films for a week outside. I came down and it was quiet and good. I then booked a table for two other occasions outside, requested the table I wanted to book well in advance etc. When I came for the first booking I was given a different table that completely defeated the objective of coming or booking. Service was also really slow and at one point nothing arrived for an hour. I then came back for the second occasion which again I had booked a table. This time table wasn't even reserved. We brought a child with us to eat, we asked to order food and was told by the man serving he doesn't take food orders and after getting no one come by we went to the bar to order and at 17:40 they've said the kitchens closed. There's nothing to say it's closed, we weren't told it was going to close and we sat and watched other people ordering and receiving food. Previous experiences have been good, but I was inside and didn't eat on those occasions. Nice enough people, lovely idea and lovely environment overall, service is a little off though.

I think it's the best pizza place in England. It has a wide variety of pizzas and great drinks . Personally my favourites are the lemonades and the margeritta. I also love how they have a loyalty card and when you buy 9 pizzas you get your 10th one free. Lastly , they have polite staff and on Sunday it's a movie night for kids (at 5:00) and for adults (7:30). That's why I give this 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

We recently went to the Abbey Arms after living in the local area and never having a decent place to go... I would say this is an absolute treat. Decor, food, reasonably priced drinks... but what's more the staff (Liam and Adam) are an absolute pleasure! The Service was fantastic and honestly I couldn't ask for a better local. They'll be seeing myself and James a lot! Thanks to all for making our first trip a memorable one!

Great service, good selection of drinks. Outside seating is also a MASSIVE winner. This place has clearly had some recent investment (when visiting at the start of November 19) which really does show outside. It's a shame the area isn't developing quite as fast as this lovely venue. If your in the area. Go to this pub. You'll be impressed.

Very nice pub and garden. I really like the coloured fairy lights that are on the ceiling inside and also outside in the garden. The food was nice, the staff very friendly and if u go on a Thursday its quiz night. £2.00 per person entry for the quiz but it is a great laugh.

Has been a local pub of mine for years, even before it was renovated however it is still a great pub, good choice of music and plenty of board games. Has a nice outdoor area and is dog friendly which is a major bonus! 10/10 would recommend

Loved the improvements. Always thought it was a bit dodgy before. It's now a really nice place to go with the family, loved the little family friendly touches like having a selection of board games to use. Pizza was delicious and the staff very helpful. My first time certainly won't be my Last.

Superb place! Absolutely turned around and is now Very family friendly, animals friendly and actually people friendly too! 😂 the decor is breathtaking and you wouldn't guess it's a pub but serve good food and drink and everyone will find something they like about it. Amazing!!!!

Had a family lunch there yesterday. We braved the weather and we were in two minds as to whether to go or not. I’m extremely happy that we did the staff were very honest hands-on and very tentative extremely honest . Even had a pizza two for one deal and finished my pizza at 7:30 this morning Cold LOL. I’ll definitely recommend this as a Sunday lunch destination

Had the Sunday roast. The beef was delicious (I asked for it to be well done and it was spot on). Service was swift and friendly, and portion sizes were hearty without being excessive (unlike the general trend with roasts these days which seems to be 'how much food can we stack on a plate'). A good selection of beers too including local brews.

This place has been newly done up, it has a rustic style to it and is very family friendly now. Great roast dinners on a Sunday and Pizza and Pasta served all week. This is all a bit of a surprise due to its location in Abbey Wood.

I had the most amazing calzone here. The chef is Italian and makes delicious and authentic pizzas. It's so convenient if you're staying in the nearby campsite and it has a great beer selection to boot.

Dived in with my twin bairns for somewhere to sit whilst sorting out our route on the tube. Nice beer, comfy setting and fantastic bar staff. The barman was accommodating and was able to have a long, knowledgeable chat with two small boys about Pokemon. You can't ask for more.

Used to go in here years ago when you buy all sorts of stimulants over the bar, sometimes useful but only if you could make it out alive. This place has been totally transformed. Fire pit in garden, nice largers, ipa's on draft. Pizzas looked nice coming out. Friendly bar staff. Much of the previous clientele have vacated. I will definitely return and would recommend you try it.

Lovely refurbishment job, looks nice inside & out. Big garden with plenty of shade, pleasant place to enjoy a drink in the summer. Staff friendly. We had the Sunday Roast which sadly was not good, all the vegetables were very undercooked & rock hard, the roast potatoes were more like baked, again rock hard, arrived with hardly any gravy on it & when asked for a jug of gravy, the smallest one you could imagine came out, so overall dry lunch as well. Wasn't asked how we wanted the beef cooked when ordering, so they presume everyone likes it rare, mine looked like raw mince. After paying £14.95 we really expected a lot more, & to top it off they had run out of Yorkshire Puds at 2pm, so thats only 2 hours after they start serving the Roasts at 12 midday. Would drink there again but def not eat.

As a local resident for the last 15 years I cant tell you how pleased I am to have a decent local dog friendly pub. I'd been in a few times before the refit but I've been in loads since. The food, the staff, the decor are all on point. Can't recommend highly enough.
