This place is bang in central London and a great location for an office event or group night out. The pub food is great, the drinks are flowing, what more could you want!

Couple of brews here before dinner. Nice that they have gamma Ray on tap, good outdoor seating to soak up the last rays of the sun and inside they have aircon for when it's too hot. Friendly staff too.

Love this little bar, such a great selection of beers, wines and spirits, and the staff behind the bar are always jolly and cheerful. Only downside is how busy the place always is, but that's a testament to their popularity I suppose. If the inside is packed on the weekend, there's usually always space to stand and chat out the back. Unlike so many other traditional (cough cough... Samuel Smith) pubs in the area that serve nothing but their own brand of piss, Adam & Eve have a wonderful selection of brands to choose from. Coming from Ireland, that's what I'm used to most pubs & bars stocking, but I know that's not the traditional type of pub in England that typically serve in-house brews. Overall great decor, great buzz, good pub food and a wide selection of drinks. Unfortunately the place is nowhere near cheap, but you have to expect that for a bar right off Oxford Street. I'm sure the rent there is astronomical! 😆

Really great evening at the Adam and Eve with friends. We were really looked after by all the staff. The food was great, the service and friendliness of the staff even better. A real gem of a pub just off Oxford Street where the pubs can be a bit hit and miss. I must saying reading previous reviews about staff and service times this wasn't an issue for us. I'd reserved a table, set up a tab and we had no issue at all as drinks were bought to our table.

We held a private hire event here last week for a colleague who was retiring. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the food was lovely and they really listened to what we wanted. A nice send off for our colleague that was greatly appreciated. We will definitely hold more events there - its a nice comfortable pub that's not too flashy with nice friendly staff.

Lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating and friendly staff (our server was really sweet and chatty). A good range of food and everything we had tasted delicious, especially the lamb dippers and lamb toastie! Prices were pretty reasonable for London and food came pretty quickly, though they weren't very busy at the time which helped. The facilities were clean and over all it was a lovely venue.

Reading through these reviews prior to arriving I was shocked and almost put off coming, but so happy I did. Bar was rammed, lively and buzzing... however the bar staff all managed to keep smiling at us! Lovely waitress who even took the time to come outside and take some drink orders and clear our table! Fast paced, friendly faces! Reasonably priced considering it’s location! As long as you can bear a few of the corporate snobs who seemed hell bent on having a horrible time, it is a great place! When I reached a language barrier at the bar with one of the barmen, it was lovely to see a floor staff member come and support, I could see there was a lot of trust and happiness amongst the team! I will be back next time in London!!!

Great pub! Always make sure to pay a visit when I'm in central London. Recently refurbished and it looks better than ever. Tried out the chicken wings off the new menu and would honestly travel in just for them! Also shout out to some off the nicest pub staff in London. Absolut gem.

Have been going here a year or so and is the best pub around. They have exceptional food and not a bad price, can't count how many times I've had a Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Staff are friendly and I usualy get into chats with them, there's also lots of space when we want to have larger events, I've been to a few birthdays there. Since the renovations it looks quite swanky, loving the tiled floors and general decor, feels a lot more refined than your bog standard gastro. If you havnt already give it a go!

After coming in for a few Sunday Records and roasts, which we still love! Came in with some friends for Christmas dining, and I have to say, reading all these reviews, these guys are really getting judged against unreachable standards. While we were there, we saw some difficulty for staff as the pub was full of diners, and a delay is expected, but seems the Christmas spirit is lost to some and the amount of attitude and abuse we saw staff take (staff that were obviously working really hard) I think reflects hospitality nowadays. We had a fantastic time, food did take a little while but with a full pub of diners, that is expected. Staff continued to serve and run around pleasing us and everyone with a smile, despite some fellow customers disdain for this, and props to the team as they didn't let this crush their spirit, serving with a smile regardless. Truly a gem of a pub and the 10 people with me all agree that they will be returning too, staff that looked united and happy to be there is rare to see nowadays, I just hope prior reviews and the attitude that we saw that day doesn't change their motivation. You're doing great, we'll be back. Ignore the pompous city folk! Special shout out to the young black guy who we think was the GM that was running around keeping even the miserable people sweet and still had time to give us great service and a laugh. First time we've been served by a manager that obviously cares about his restaurant!

I came here a few years back and I really enjoyed it here. The atmosphere was brilliant. The bar has a real modern feel to it. Seating is very comfortable there and the decor is well kept and maintained. There is a good choice of drinks and ciders. Bar staff are friendly.

Wonderful pub for a Sunday visit. Popped in yesterday afternoon for a tea, wine and those superb chipolatas in maple syrup and sourdough toast. Forgotten the name of the French chap who served us, and he is so friendly and helpful. We often drop in over a weekend and always enjoy the experience.

Sorry let me.be a little more specific. The bar staff seemed almost bored to be serving me. The pub itself had nearly half the tables reserved so when we got in what looked like a place with space there was nowhere to sit. The gents loos were pretty dirty and smelt a bit. Beer was OK and prices were average. We had one round and went elsewhere.

We had a family Christmas dinner at the Adam and Eve. Had an excellent experience. This place was one of few open on Christmas Eve dinner time. The atmosphere is favorable, food is delicious. Especially, we liked vegetarian burger with mushrooms - highly recommended! The staff was increadibly helpful and welcoming. We indeed enjoyed our time at Adam and Eve!

This is a good bar but there is a long wait for drinks and it's quite busy. They make a great gin and tonic with different flavours and tonics etc. Does take a while to make them though. Would like to come back when it's quieter and can sit down and relax.

The location and space are very appealing. The selection of real ales and beer overall however, is mediocre. Food is not bad though there are no standout meals. I find that the acoustics make A&E rather more loud than is comfortable.

I have yet to eat here (the food seems to be the source of many of these bad reviews), but my initial impressions of this pub were good. The drinks are reasonably priced, staff are accommodating and friendly, and it's very large and clean inside. Although it's not the kind of pub I would choose to visit, it's the perfect spot to grab some post work drinks if you have a big team.

We couldn't have picked a better place for service and for food. Our roast dinners were deeelish! The dessert was really tasty too. All our food was cooked to perfection and was hot. The only thing we did feel was that drinks and food are a little overpriced!

Such friendly staff! There was nowhere to sit, but the staff were so accommodating and asked people to move their coats to make room :) I don't know if they realised I was pregnant but it was lovely of them either way! Nice atmosphere too and the drinks were fairly reasonably priced. Can't comment on food as we only had drinks, but the hot choc was good!

This is a nice looking pub and generally hosts an after work crowd, has a little back alley seating area and is quite brightly lit, which is a nice change from some of the darker pubs around. A little bit refreshing. Some comfy seating too for people who want to relax a little.

Good pub to have sundowners after work on a Friday or a quick lunch time top up during the week. I can get a bit crowded, however, the staff are well training and bar waiting times are acceptable. The crowing isn't an issue as there's plenty of outside space due to the pubs location.

Adamin & Eve is certainly different. Sometimes when I happen to go in there feel like I am in a time warp. But this is actually a nice place to get a beer, you can usually sit down and order some snacks if you wish. A hidden gem. Truffled mac cheese balls are the stuff of dreams! Avocado on toast was well priced and everything a millennial Australian could hope for. If the pub takes even the least amount of pride in what they do there will be a good choice of real ales such as Hobgoblin and Old Tom served at cellar temperature as these actually taste of somethingunlike near-frozen mass-produced lagers. The good ol' water-of-life should be in abundance be it Irish, Scotch, Bourbon or otherwise. In short, this pub is the very focal point of a civilised society.

Female toilets are a major let down... Please show respect for your customers and have coat hooks on the toilets doors for customers to hang their jacket and bags! It would only cost a few pounds but would make a big difference to customers.
