Looks great after refurbishment. Have lived in the area for 30 years but only went to Angies for 1st time just before refurbishment. It was quite dark and not very welcoming. Loving the new look!! Clean and comfortable surroundings, friendly staff, decent priced drinks and clean toilets. Definitely will be back for drinks in future. Might even try the pizza at some point!

Decided its time to try out the new local pub, we were all very impressed. Excellent new decor, friendly bar staff, reasonably priced drinks and very clean toilets! If you want a local pub than this is exactly where you need to go, we will be returning for sure!

Clean, minimalist, no frills old school Irish boozer. There's no craft beer here - just 'classic' lager like Carlsberg, Carling and Fosters (yes I was appalled too :D) but also stout (Guinness,) bitter (John Smith's) and Hop House 13. Good place to watch the football and seems to have a lot of older regulars from the local community.

Put simply, it's the craik, and if you don't understand that you're not an Irish pub drinker! More than double the size it was before a massive rebuild during the first Covid lockdown in 2020, Angies is now rather smart and comfy. Pizzas are now available, but it remains the drinks that count. An Irish pub so open that it offers (Protestant) Bushmills whiskey alongside (Catholic) Jamesons is an event in itself.

Pretty nice pub that plays many matches. Prices are very good. Theres a nice ceiling there and plenty of space to have a pint with the regular. Bar staff is also very friendly

Good atmosphere, projector and amazingly cheap Guiness. The place should be cleaned tho, the benches and the cushions are really worn out. The carpet has probably been there for ages. Bartenders are friendly and talkative.
