Reviews of Arts Theatre Club
J. C.
What a great night we had on Saturday, it was very busy but we got served very quickly, staff were very efficient and kept our drinks coming without having to wait long at all. The guy taking our orders was spot on and really knew his stuff. Loved it so much going back this Saturday..
M. L.
Really fun spot! Got here around 12 and left at closing. Had to wait a bit to get in but it was worth it. Party vibes, fast and friendly bar service, loved it! Highly recommend and will be back.
C. J.
Went last night after the theatre for a couple of drinks and bloody loved it!! Stayed well too long for a school night but couldn’t pull myself away!!
Great cocktails, really good bar staff and the music was brilliant.
Was up dancing with a load of people we met on the nigbt! Will deffo be back for more fun!!
J. S.
Came here Saturday 2/4 /22 got there about 10 pm , had a fantastic night , bit of an older crowd. Saturday 80s music - we never sat down danced all night ! Will go next time I’m in London . Had a ball here - no door charge , friendly vibe , just a small place .

We were there without even know why...we've just seen stairs & light. Finally it was the best evening for my friend & I since a long time. Amazing djs/music (if you love 90's & 80's like me), nice mojito 😍. Thank you!!
J. S.
Great bar in such a great location in Soho. They've currently got lots of outdoor seating in the newly pedestrianised street and it is the perfect place to soak up the sun and people watch. Their cocktails are delicious!
T. J.
Great cocktails, served in a quite intimate, speakeasy style basement bar.
l.
Nice and cosy cocktail bar. Great prices and very tasty cocktails. Friendly and helpful staff. Great for a catch-up with friends - they have a large seating area or for a date night in there individual tables.
K. G.
Generally a very good experience, initially was a bit strange, as we were five black men, requesting entry and was turned away by a black bouncer who refused to let us in. Then a white guy who was out side, said to the bouncer to let us in(possibly the manager). Surprisingly he allowed us in. As a group we were not sure what to make of that interaction... on entry the atmosphere was cool there were lots of free tables. The ambience was ok.

Great drinks! Davide is a top bartender, we had a fantastic night!
O.
Nice reasonably priced cocktails and a cool relaxed setting. Great for dates, although beware, it does suddenly get a lot fuller and noisier later in the evening, which depending on what your looking for, could be a good or a bad thing.

Cozy basement bar with fantastic bartenders. Bartenders take their time making amazing cocktails. The best dirty martinis in Europe
A. W.
Blink, and you will walk right past this bar. Located downstairs, plush red interior makes it cozy. Great selection of cocktails.

Dark and noisy, as most places tend to be on a Saturday night, but the cocktails were broadly in line with the local mean, which I think is fine. The mixers were quite fast, too, which is always appreciated. Not really a good place for a quiet sit-down with friends, though.
G. K.
Very romantic atmosphere, and great DJ after 9/10pm.
M. M.
Great little bar in soho. Exceptional cocktail bar with a lot on offer. Plush red furnishings and candle lit offers amazing atmosphere - especially for first dates or visitors to the area looking for something out of the ordinary.
Often live music and great menu design. Toilets are well kept and staff are friendly. Very chilled vibe. Prohibition era.
K. C.
Very nice place, the atmosphere was chilled yet sociable. The cocktails in teapots were amazing, loved all of them! The staff were friendly, which is always nice. The only downside to this place is that it is quite small and there was a lack of chairs for our whole group, resulting in squishing next to each other on the couch!
A. C. G.
Probably my favourite place in SoHo. Chilled, good music, great atmosphere and deco plus, of course, the most important of it all. Great music and brilliant cocktails. If you happen to be on a day that isn't packed also recommended to have a chat with the bartenders, always a good laugh!
T. “. M.
A bit of a hidden gem. It can get very hot down there and forget about phone signal. But the quirkiness of the venue, the ease to get in and the cocktails in tea pots make it one of my favourite late night spots.
j. K.
What a great place! Best club to dance and have fun. Retro music playing till 3am. I had my hen do there and it was the best choice. Most amazing bar staff!
A. D. B.
I come here all the time after work as it’s one of the few places where you can get a seat straight after work ( I finish at 6pm). In fact it tends to be quite empty sometimes which is odd as it gets really busy in the evening and is a great place. I think it could be because most people don’t realise it’s there. Anyway it serves cocktails in teapots which are a great novelty experience, but on top of that the cocktails are actually pretty good. I was disappointed to see that recently the prices of the teapots have gone up and they’ve stopped serving them in little tea cups, but still quite love the place.
T. H.
Pricey but not unfairly so for the location, a nice selection of drinks with some cute signature cocktails (served in teapots and the like) you can book a table but generally you don't need to bother.
However once in a blue moon this place becomes rammed and when this happens you're better off finding somewhere else to drink.
A. L.
One of our favourite bars in London. Always great service and always great music!
T. R.
The teapots were a nice touch. But let’s be honest. The tunes.
They were out of this world
Am i right?
Spice girls? Uptown girl? I’m 5 minutes short of clicking for a Boyzone number.
If only Wetherspoons had a DJ like this. I’d be there every Thursday.
Wetherspoons seems so upmarket now
There were less people to talk to than I expected, in fact I felt quite alone, but thank god i wasn’t ignored.
Great club?

Tiny little cocktail bar in Soho. Has a retro feel about it, from the old door with sliding view hole to the various pieces of vintage decor / ornaments on the walls. Service is a bit on the slow side. Drinks are very expensive (although remember, you are in Soho so...). Starts getting busy after 11pm as that's when other pubs start throwing out. Not somewhere to come to regularly, but definitely worth a visit (after payday that is).
J. G.
One of Soho's hidden drinking dens with fantastic cocktails and boasts one of the best martini's in town!
You are sure to get your soul and 80s groove on here whilst supping on the original and legendary prohibition teapots. I would definitly reccomend as a must when in London.
S. D.
A small basement bar with real Soho history and great music – even on Saturdays when the rest of Soho gets ever so slightly townie. Thursday is the best, with great Sixties music and some proper Northern Soul dancing. Drinks are decently priced, sometimes they come in teapots and once, I definitely remember buying a muffin at the bar. Keep the Arts Club up your sleeve just in case you need somewhere to go in Soho – this place won’t let you down and is always, always open (if it's closed, you know it's time to go home).
E. W.
Atmospheric cocktail bar, interesting range, and brilliant service.
C. D.
Incredible staff. Beautiful books. I need to go back to this place for another look 🤑 The crushed ice was a bit too crushed and lead to breathing difficulties and severe brain freeze 🙄 beware
K. M.
Great tunes, vibes and people. The staff are awesome. This place is a little Gem!

Went friday evening, music was 80s 90s rock funk and pop. Nice crowd with good balance between guys and girls. Honestly priced drinks. Would recommend and wil return
S. B.
Reasonable prices for table service in London. Great atmosphere. The staff do a lot to make sure everyone is having a good time. The fact that it's open really late is a bonus.
D. P.
This is our go to Club when in Soho, the downstairs makes it seem a bit more interesting, the drinks are expensive (obvs) the staff are friendly, the toilets are meh.
But you're in SoHo, and sometimes there is "emergency glitter" so be prepared.
10/10 will be visiting again.
S. ..
Awesome night out, great atmosphere, rapid bar staff, a mix of all sorts of classic hits you can dance the night away to!!
R. B.
You can go by pre-arrangement or with a Member.
Quite an exclusive little spot and really fab.
The Decor is pretty retro and really well thought out .
Bit of a media 'meet-up' joint but go there and enjoy, bit of an experience!!
Yes-yes-Yes

Five star venue for a night out in London, I can remember them playing prince raspberry beret in there, great times
C. R.
Fantastic cocktails, loveley bar staff, great find, relaxed. Loved it
R. n.
It's one of those places that make you feel homely soft furniture carpet it all the way through soft lights places to take your lover and then have a candle light dinner and down it with red wine
C. H.
I quite liked it here. Even though it's super busy, like anything central London venue, the drinks were good, the vibe was friendly and fun.
T. S. L.
Secret doors in Soho are a huge TSL favourite, particularly when they send you into a late night nostalgic time warp of another era till 3am. In the case of Frith Street’s Theatre Arts Club, a members* bar run and completely renovated by brother and sister Maria and Costas as of 2008, the era in question is 1920s Soho. Think red low level lighting, one hundred year old padded wallpaper, grandmas carpets lining the bar and a welcoming amount of velvet. O how we love...

Great place nice atmosphere plenty of females... 🤦🏿♂️
R. W.
Cute little place to have drinks and a dance. Great music, staff and selection of cocktails.
R. S.
For what it is it's fine. It's a club, a crowded, small and incredibly loud club. The staff was a bit rude upon my visit, but maybe that's just one time.
P. A.
The only place I sing and dance like an idiot to 80s music, drinking cocktails out of teapots... Wonderful!
J. S.
Good drink selection and I loved the atmosphere. Good place for drinks before or after a show.

D. L.
Awesome place, great cocktails and very cool bartenders.
R. A.
It's quite cool but the place got absolutely packed (it's tiny) and some dirty sod kept farting while they danced...
A. O.
Great little spot under ground in Soho, they serve cocktails in tea pots and it can get rowdy any night of the week.
i. V.
Cool cocktails place. It's U.S.P is cocktails in tea pots. Tad expensive though.

Old school..chilled place to make your own!!! Great if you have a big impromptu group.

They do a good old fashioned and lots of music to dance to. Remember to bring cash for on the door!

Good "underground" club, few tourists and music from the 80's. Quite warm when crowded !
