Sadly never got the monster munch pizza nevertheless I will be returning soon to test it. Lovely horse show pub, with proper pub attire (fabric benches and carpet). Outside is great though a little covered for a summers day.

Amazing little pub with both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor has a nice cosy feel and outdoor has a great atmosphere and well maintained garden. Always have collabs with local restaurants for some quality food + often have live music Plus the staff are super friendly! Love it!

I first visited this pub in 1994 and not much has changed since then with the exception of the decor, I do miss the sticky red carpet though😀. There’s always a nice atmosphere in here and a real locals pub feel. Out back there’s a beer garden which also has a TV and plenty of benches. If your in to your craft beer and gins then this might be the place for you with a good selection of both on offer. This boozer gets very busy on match days when Arsenal are at home, so would recommend a visit on an alternative day. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 03/02/18

Staff lovely, great outdoor space in the back for summer. For winter, it looks like an old man pub from the outside, it makes all its charm, it's so cosy inside! Every visiting friends I brought there loved it (Extra feature: you can order your pizza from Yard Sale and be delivered in the pub :) )

Nice local pub. We were staying at an Airbnb apt steps away from here, so we stopped 2 or 3 times for a beer. They have a beer we really like Neck Oil IPA. So nice to come and enjoy a favorite beer. They don't have food here but they will order pizza from a place down the block.

Pretty standard pub. Quite dark indoors, with a good beer garden around the back which has a good number of tables & seating. A little bit rough, but adds to the charm. A pint was under £4 so reasonable, and they had a good selection of different beers on tap. What you'd call a local, you'd only go if you were in the area.

What a great name for a pub! This is a haven of peace and merriment that is much adored by its good humoured patrons. It is also a pub that treats it's regular clientele very well, thanks to an excellent manager and friendly and professional staff. It now also features an outside garden that is even popular in winter!

Great pub with a good selection on tap and a lovely beer garden (recently renovated). Shows the football, has a working fireplace that's on most winter nights, board games for those so inclined, you can order in pizza from Yard Sale down the street and genuinely friendly staff - a staple on Blackstock Road and a lovely place to while away an evening or weekend.

Friendly staff, excellent selection of beers including craft beer on on tap, good wines and you can order pizza in. Being close to the Arsenal ground it's full of home fans on match day, but otherwise you can usually get a seat. They show all main football games on several screens, there are two roaring fires in winter, and a garden for summer and/or smokers. The place is owned by a cute tabby cat called Gertie.

I love this place it's rough around the edges but is beautiful because of it. One of the only pubs not to be gentrified within the steam great selection of beers and wine and a lovely beer garden along with its own cat! The open mic night is a bit mixed heard some nice performers but there have also been some terrible ones too. My only issue is the bathroom this needs some attention to it especially the female one.

A fairly good pub and its deco has a lot of character. I was there a lot in the summer to make use of the huge outdoor area. However, when I went back about a month ago (early November 2019), I couldn't sit in the outdoor area because it was raining but couldn't sit inside because for some reason, the whole place stank like sewage.

A surprisingly awesome pub in the middle of Highbury, It doesn't look like much from the outside but normally has a cool atmosphere, good selections of drinks (especially beer and gin), shows live sport and has a roaring fire in the winter months. If you are every near by in the summer there is normally a raucous noise coming from a hidden garden. Worth popping in and enjoying a tipple or two

The BoF is a hidden gem in the city with a relaxing, intimate environment. It has managed to evade the ugly side of gentrification which unfortunately has cast its shadow over many Islington establishments close by. If you are looking to have a fresh Guinness fireside without a worry in the world, then this pub is for you.
