Cocktails are nice. The food from pop up chips n mix was lovely really enjoyed, and the DJ was playing good music too. Not very busy but it was Thursday so guessing it is more party vibe on the weekend.

Good music when I went, RnB, house, hip hop! But to charge for entry is a bit silly. Lots of other bars on the high street do not charge entry so don't be tricked into thinking you're getting a good deal. However drinks are good and so is the music. Bar is a bit small and unless you get a seating area the table and chairs by the bar are uncomfortable and awkwardly positioned so even more reason to not pay/charge entry.

A friend brought me this fabulous gin master class for my birthday. It was great. Chris was the perfect host and very knowledgeable about gins. The cocktails were the real deal especially the gin and champagne combinations and the kebabs were full of flavour and tasty with potato wedges. DJ rocked the house. I'd recommend time and time again. Big up SO.UK.

Lovely bar, nice atmosphere. Ambient lighting. Music was classy and pleasant. Good 241 on cocktails. Male toilet attendant was unnecessary and uncomfortable, please get rid it made me avoid going to the toilets. I'm not massively into forced table service either. When already at the bar being told to sit down so someone can come over then bring a bill 5mins later is a bit inconvenient and pretentious, especially as other people were happily ordering at the bar. I do like to be able to have reason to move around a bit when I'm out!

Went on a Groupon deal for 6 cocktails. The cocktails were okay, it was on a Friday and generally very quiet till we left at about 10.30. It did seem like it was getting busier though. Like the open nature of the bar facing outside but just an okay experience

My boyfriend and I recently had a gin cocktail masterclass here which was bought for us as a gift. We had a very good time learning about different gins and making some cocktails. Marven (the manager) knew his stuff and made the class really good fun. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in gin, or cocktail-making in general!

We did the gin tasting experience which turned out to be great value for money and as well as trying 4 shots of different gins which were explained to us we had 4 cocktails and drinks either side of the experience accompanied by food so were leaving full up and merry from all of the gin we'd tried and learnt about. As the place is more of a late bar we were there by ourselves for the majority of the session so it was more personable service. I know later on it's a lot busier but for the purposes of the gin experience I recommend as someone who didn't know too much about gin prior to this.

I’ve been to So.uk for a few years now and everytime it never lets me down. I have had 2 birthday events here and one at the sister bar juju. Recently I contacted so.uk & spoke to Joe at the very last minute to hold a Birthday event there within 2 days notice I was assured I could get an area which held up to 40 ppl. Joe was very helpful and told me all the options which were available to me for the night. Upon arrival my tables were set up immaculately and I was greeted by Marven who ensured myself and my guests were accommodated all night. I had my own area along with waiters and a beautiful lady Marta who took take of anything I needed. All the staff there are amazing! The service was second to none and they made my Birthday very special. I will always recommend So.uk for ambience, fantastic cocktails and excellent house music (which is my favourite genre) If you are going on a date, a quick catch up with friends or even an impromptu birthday gathering contact So.uk ASAP you will not be disappointed.

This venue is small, intimate. The music was ok imo, but not quite MY flavour. There are worse places, but there are better. At the end of the day, because music and vibe is so subjective, you just HAVE to go try it out for yourself. It certainly wouldn't be a total loss.

Not every bar can achieve to be nominated as a bar of the year and it's enough to know that this place is. Their duck rolls are fantastic and smell really great. I, however, think that the staff can be much more organised, they were a bit chaotic when I was there.

We had four tapas, each was from a different cuisine (burgers, fried calamari, seared tuna, and Spanish tortilla with chorizo) -- they were all very tasty and of a decent size (often we find tapas to be tiny). The tuna was particularly delicious. We used an online deal, but the normal prices didn't seem prohibitively high. Despite it's club-like atmosphere, the food was actually very good.

Seemed busy and had good atmosphere when I visited recently, even for a fairly small bar. I guess the downside for me would be the pricing which I thought was quite expensive, but I think that is what I should expect on a night out in Clapham Common.
