It is indeed not cheap but it is the shard. What do you expect?

C. K.Calamari was nice. Ordered pepperoni pizza and the meat tasted really strange. Couldn't do much about it though as they took payment for the meal before the food arrived. Staff were friendly and a nice spot to sit.

Great staff , pro active and friendly , but suffering of cold conditions ,as they were warm dressed, and no heating on.

Is okay to grab a drink for a small chat , but for me doesn't appeal even that.

The bar has a really lovely vibe with a lovely, modern interior and artwork hung up on the walls. The bar is also very clean and well maintained.
The service is fantastic, all glassware is cleaned and well polished and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The choice of drinks is good, but it's a little on the expensive side (a glass of prosecco cost me £10).

R. V.What an amazing place this is perched at Level 31 of the iconic building - the Shard. Food was really good and all waiters were able to describe the dishes as well as their contents. The service was also excellent and discrete and staff very friendly and helpful. If you plan to go give yourself plenty of time as the security for getting in is akin to boarding an aircraft - at least l kept my shoes on. Suggest you take a "flexible friend" in your wallet with you if you are planning a few drinks - phew.
S. S.Nice bar on the ground floor of the Shard. However, they charge a 10% service charge on drinks, so the prices listed do not reflect this. When we asked them to bring the drinks over to the table when ready, they almost seemed surprised at the prospect, so not sure what they think the service charge is for?! Otherwise the drinks were lovely, a little small in some cases, but otherwise a nice central meeting spot.
