ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL! Amazing service, amazing staff, amazing vibes! Can I just say, the security guard at the front was one of the most genuine and energetic security guards I’ve ever met! I didn’t catch his name but he had dreadlocks was wearing a grey cardigan. KEEP HIM!! He is a credit to the company. Also the bar staff are absolutely phenomenal! So engaging! I accidentally dropped my drink and straight away they made me a new one! I offered to help the guy clean my mess but he didn’t allow me to so I still got some tissues to help the guy out! Just the vibes as a whole were amazing, definitely coming back!

I normally don't write reviews but we went to Barrio last Friday for a birthday party and we had one of the most amazing times in a bar, EVER!!!!!!!!! The staff was partying with the customers in a way I never seen before, it was crazy, the vibe was unbelievable. I think only in London you can find things like that. Shout out to the guy with the moustache, he definitely made our night special!

Had a great time here. Good vibe and decently priced drinks. Didn't try the food, only went for drinks. Was surprised how busy it was at 9.30pm on a Saturday, we were on guest list and went straight in once Name was confirmed. Only thing would be that it would be nice if there was a cloakroom rather than have Coat pegs on the side, I was uneasy always looking out for my jacket while trying to enjoy my time. Also being a latin place, would be good if they played some more latin music to keep the authenticity.

Boozy bottomless brunch with the girls - what more can you ask for? The staff were hilarious and came round promptly with top ups and assisted us with anything we needed! Loved the MC for the 80s night, you made our day! Such a laugh.

Middle of the road bar, I enjoyed the cocktails and we had a decent seat but found the door staff very standoffish even on a Saturday afternoon. Just didn't make it a comfortable experience and set a bit of a negative tone. Service was OK but a little slow as per usual really for cocktails.

What an amazing night. It's been a long, long time since I had so much fun and enjoyed a night out with my friends. We went out on friday night and couldn't have picked a better place. Amazing atmosphere, amazing drinks, and very friendly staff. I'm giving you 2 reasons to go this place: 1st: The staff on the front door are genuinely friendly and they have such a good vibe. Thank you to Alessio for your endless patience. Really good energy before getting in. 2nd: The staff on the bar. Their engagement with the us was something else. Nice little bar with a Latin vibe with the music and colourful setting. A variety of cocktails and during the December holiday season they have seasonal styled cocktails too. Past the vibe of the place it turns out to be an average place. With two floors there is not much space and gets crowded as early as 8pm. Apart from the cocktails on the menu, drinks tasted sour rather than their usual flavour. If possible book a table to get some space and enjoy!

We were celebrating a friends 40th on a Saturday night, we had a really good time. Venue is on the smaller size but that is expected for Soho. Music and crowd were good - they did run out of Jaeger though. Shame it closed at 1am, we were only just getting started.

It's a good place to go if you want to dance to some mainstream music on a Saturday night but I found it to be too small and overcrowded and the drinks were so expensive. £5.60 for a can of rekorderlig, not even a bottle!

So I was on a mexican mission the 2 days I was in london....went to 2 other places as well... Nothing to fault them....but if you need an all around full mexican including the vibe ...This is the place. I loved the interior and the ambience... I had 2 tacos...they were good... Both the drinks i has were good as well... And prompt service... So voila.. Will be back ...when i feel the need for mexican..!!

It was my second time in Barrio’s bar which we found accidentally with my friend the first time and both occasions we had a fantastic time. Special thanks to Paolo, Beje and the rest of the team who made sure we were looked after throughout the night :), will definitely revisit and catch some of the cool songs through from Shazam again. ;)

Met up with a friend here on Friday night, ambience was great, staff are very friendly and food was amazing! We ordered a few small plates to share, beef tacos and fish tacos with sweet potato fries. Everything tasted amazing. We also joined in for happy hour which ran until 8pm! The options for happy hour was quite varied so got a choice of drinks. If you prefer just drinks downstairs was a little more fun! My only Criticism is it got very busy and place is a tad cramped.

Went with friends for after-work drinks. This time round (I've been before), the drinks were not as good... The Mojito was tasty, but none of the other 4 we ordered were anything special. For example the 'Gingerbread Pina Collada' I got to try was just sweet, with nothing particularly interesting about it. I also didn't feel like any of the drinks were particularly strong.

Really good vibe, good service, great food and drinks. Only issue is that the food is reasonably priced but the drinks are incredibly expensive. Of course, these are London prices, but it means you can't have too many if you're on a budget.

I just love the service the people that serve at the bar are so nice and friendly and make you feel so welcome. The man at the bar Johnny witch i think he was the super great one of the best really he served me and my friends he was so friendly, nice, polite and really welcoming. He went out of his way to make sire we were having a good time. Is so good to have people like that because it make you what to go back. The place it self is really nice as well i deffo will suggest to go have a look if you did not go. Music is fun and cocktails are great i love my experience there.

Went there on a Thursday evening and the DJ was the best: read the room right and everyone seemed to have a great time. Fun and unpretentious, happy hour cocktails make it absolute value too. Audience was overwhelmingly female and cute, in case you needed a nod and a wink in that direction.

Aesthetically, a very nice and welcoming place, colors immediately bring the customer back to a Mexican atmosphere, unique drinks, fantastic staff and fun! Downstairs in the late evening on a Saturday is a Latin remix so. Good fun, good dancing but I would say a little too packed to be properly pleasant. There are thankfully coat hooks on the wall but only bring your cheapest coat as drunk patrons tend to fumble around the coats trying to find theirs. The bartender's were efficient and seemed to be enjoying the vibe.

Loved this place! Just the right size and vibe. Stumbled in looking for gin after a few hours in Brewdog Soho. Went downstairs for the music (DJ playing) and party vibe (people dancing). Discovered they have a reasonable selection of gin with the start of the site being Gin Mare, one of my favourites. Had a great time and shall visit again when I'm next in the area.

I hosted my birthday party at Barrio last night. I booked a table for 15 and we were given the two front tables for dinner, which was perfect. Overall, lovely service, very friendly and accomodating staff, and decent food! Great atmosphere, great music playing during dinner, had a lovely time with my friends. After we ate, we went downstairs to the club/bar area. It was super busy, but understable for a Friday night. The only downside was that they werent playing the same music downstairs as they were during dinner, so we decided to go somewhere else for my type of music (rnb/hip hop). Also, the security guards were a bit creepy and tried to hit on my friends and one of them made ignorant comments when rejected. Overall, I had a great night and would recommend Barrio for dinner as it has a brilliant atmosphere and great vibe. Thank you to all the Barrio staff that made my birthday special!

I've been a few times now and resisted rating it until I'd tried it a bit more. Barrio Central is a bit of a weird contrast. The cocktails are funky, tasty, and push the boat out to break away from the norm but not beyond the realms of normal taste. The atmosphere is upbeat and relaxed and the staff are attentive. On the down side though, the toilets are pretty dire and downstairs smells a bit like the public toilets round the corner. So, based on drinks and service this place gets a 5/5 but based on general hygiene and presentation it gets a 2/5. Which is a shame, really, as I'd love to rate it higher. If you go, stay upstairs and don't go to the toilet, and you'll be fine!

It's OK. Not my first choice for cocktails in soho. The drinks seem quite sweet and could hardly taste any alcohol. Service was great though but if it wasn't for two for one drinks I would have thought that was a waste of money. I have been to the one in shoreditch aswell and the layout and atmosphere is pretty much the same. Went on a Saturday but not too busy.

I absolutely LOVE all the barrio bars, and I regularly head to Barrio Central for after work/weekend drinks! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and if you wish to book a table for dinner or a drinks area the reservations team are amazing, they're attentive to what you are looking for and have superb knowledge of all the venues! The food is delicious, which is a rarity in a bar environment. I would recommend going to any of the venues, the atmosphere and hospitality will not let you down!

It's a small bar in Soho, it's not the best and not the worst. The good parts are it is open late, there is good music, the wait at the bar isn't too bad and drinks are reasonable (for a Soho bar) but the bad points are it is small and crammed, this is not a nice relaxing lounge where you can chat to your mates it's a club /bar. If your stuck for a place to go late at night it's worth giving it a visit.

That colourful bar in the middle of Soho is quite spectacular. It looks like you are entering on a Caribbean island. At the beginning of the evening the atmosphere is relaxed. Many people working in the centre goes there to have some Nachos, Burritos and some cocktails. Later on, it becomes to a club where Latin music is played and the people start to dance salsa. It is an original place and food & drinks are really good.

This is one of the greatest bars in soho. It’s not too busy straight after work, the cocktails are good, and it’s really fun later on in the evening. It’s probably one of the only places in London I’ve been where everyone there is nice and actually dancing. Always plays good music too!

I would like to start by saying that i’m not a serial reviewer and this is probably the only time I’ll go off my ways to leave a review. We reserved an area during the weekend with some friends and family, service was quick and very professional, location was on point with friendly staff and bouncers. Everything was going smooth till we decided to move to the bar, there’s where we had the luck to be served by “Clelia” ( hope I spelled it correctly). Never before I had the chance to meet a person as sweet and professional as her, great smile and always ready to help, she made me and my guests feel comfortable and welcome and kept taking care of us till sadly we had to leave as it was time for the bar to shut. Highly recommend the place for some food and a simple night out! 5/5!

I know this might be the kind of atmosphere this place strives for, but please don't call yourself a cocktail bar when you're actually a loud, packed club. We came here for a friend's birthday party on a Sat night and it was so ridiculously rammed-packed with drunk people that it felt like being at a fraternity house. It's not a big place so it was stressful to even get to the back where my friend reserved tables that I didn't move for the entire night. I got two cocktails but they were so sweet (and with such little alcohol) I could barely finish my second. And for a cocktail bar it was almost impossible to carry a decent conversation, because the music was too loud and not a single Spanish song played that night (and for my tastes, it was awful too as it was mainstream hip-hop from my high school days). I really thought this place to be quite classy, but was quickly disappointed. Unless you aim to be completely wasted to tolerate the choking atmosphere, don't come here without a big wallet because it won't be a cheap night either!

Barrio Central is a Brazilian-style tiki bar in the heart of Soho. This particular branch is over 2 floors but relatively small which makes it difficult to get a table, especially after work. The downstairs area has the most tiki style decors and a DJ comes in later during the evening to get the party going. Drinks are quite inventive with a couple of impressive flaming cocktails being mixed. Prices are average yet a bit overpriced for a chain. Nibbles deliver though with nachos platter providing a satisfying snack to go with cocktails. Overall, Barrio will deliver and provide a fun and unpretentious night.
